Harry Kane (£12.5m) is already the runaway leader of our Gameweek 8 captain poll, but do those currently not in possession of the Spurs forward need to sign him?

That is the big question on the minds of many Fantasy Premier League managers this week, especially with Liverpool and Manchester City options potentially cancelling each other out.

We’ve gone over some of Kane’s numbers from the first seven Gameweeks and compared them with how he was faring 12 months ago, to see if it’s worth selling the likes of Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) or Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) to get him in.

Those WH fixtures are amazing...Beside Arnie, would you rather choose Anderson or Yarmolenko?

      Yarm, IMO.

Don't think they're amazing yet, but at those prices just Arnie.

Yarmo. He's fantasy gold if he's fit and starting. I remember picking him in Euro fantasy back in the day.

    Best plan here?

    A) Save FT and delay WC
    B) Ederson & Kun -> Hart & Kane(c) and WC over int break
    C) Ederson & Kun -> Ryan & Kane(c) and delay WC

    Ederson
    Alonso, Tomkins, Wan-B
    Salah, Hazard, Richarlison, Maddison
    Aguero, Arnie, King

    Stek, ASmith, TAA, Hudson
    Bank 0.3m, 1FT, WC available

I can get this team before gw 10 with 4 changes and -4, will you rate it?

    Patricio (Hamer)
    Alonso Mendy Robertson TAA (AWB)
    Salah Hazard Richarlison Fraser (Gunnarsson)
    Aguero Arnautovic (Deeney)

Just tinkering, I guess Mendy is back for GW10.
My plan was to get Kane in now and WC in int.break but now Im settled on saveing my transfer and keep WC.

        My plan is:
        GW8: Save
GW9: Trippier->Mendy (Or TAA if Mendy still out)
        GW10: Aubameyang+Mane -> Salah+Arnoutovic

+ get TAA/Mendy in aswell for -4 for Holebas.

Might get crucified for saying this.. but TAA has looked pretty poor to me so far this year, has been caught out of position a few times and seems to send most of his crosses and free kicks straight out of play

That's a fair assessment to me, he makes up for things with his pace but still needs time to improve. He was getting caught out a lot towards the end of last season but played well in the champs league fjnal.
Robertson is by far the better full back.

Am I G2G for the weekend? I have a small benching headache as I cant decide who to play out of Maddison, McGuire and Richarlson.

I am thinking of chancing that Leicester turn over Everton nicely and to bench Richarlson, as both McGuire and Maddison are on form.

    Hart
    Luiz - Trippier - Wan-Bissaka
    Maddison - Hazard - Fraser - Richarlson
    Kane (C) - Aguero - Mitrovic

For the Liverpool Swing most on here are saying they are going for TAA and Roberston at the back with Salah up-front.

    Why the double defence?

Surely another attacker like Mane or Firminho would be better? Is it the cheapness of TAA? or wanting attackers from other teams?

or Is this a classic example of herd mentality?

    1. Bucket Man
      • 8 Years

I'd rather double up with the attack, may downgrade Kane if he doesn't do much next two games for Firmino to add to Mane, and use funds elsewhere.

Controversial probably, but I don't think they're awful.
Last night they pressed well, won the ball back when it came into their defensive third, worked hard, seemed to be playing for the manager.
Just Sanchez, and Lukaku both in poor form.
I wouldn't play a Newcastle defender against them personally.

I have to think Kevin Long is a potential 'differential' (to use the parlance of the fantasy gaming universe) - towards the end of last season he was Burnley's best defender, having taking his chance following injury to Mee and others - he kept that slot... He should keep a starting berth for this weekend if there's any justice in the world, and from there you'll see him stake a claim once again.
