Arnautovic and Fabianski the key figures as Gameweek 8 kicks off

A large number of Fantasy Premier League managers are turning to Marko Arnautovic (£7.0m) and West Ham to kick-start Gameweek 8.

The Austrian forward, named in the starting line-up for the second week in a row, sits in 17.6% of Fantasy squads for a Friday night trip to Brighton.

Arnautovic is the most popular player in tonight’s fixture, but colleague Lukasz Fabianski (£4.5m) is not far behind with 13.5% ownership.

None of their Hammers’ team-mates are even close though. The third-most fashionable West Ham player is Felipe Anderson (£6.8m), owned by 2.6%.

Such is Fantasy interest in Brighton that their most popular assets aren’t even involved tonight.

Dale Stephens (£4.4m) and Markus Suttner (£3.9m) are both in a little over 5% of Fantasy squads but neither of them are in the matchday squad.

Anthony Knockaert (£5.5m) has caught the eye in recent weeks but only 1.5% of Fantasy managers are in possession of him at time of writing.

Meanwhile, Glenn Murray (£6.5m) returns to the side after being rested for the Gameweek 7 trip to Manchester City.

    I was sitting having a bath listening to the scout cast ten mins ago and Az goes, "you never know come Saturday morning I might have Kane in my team" . Then I think it was Joe goes "no it's the Friday deadline remember" so I jumped out the bath to check the time in my confused state.. that's 2 free transferred wasted and one of them now burned ha 🙁 and also feel I've wasted an hour or so listening to it. Why couldn't they say

    Members area improvement suggestion:

    With the RMT tool it would be nice to see the projected score for game weeks past alongside your actual score for that game week.

    Also why not just give an option to scroll through the projected score for all 38 game weeks instead of limiting it to six game weeks.

    ML leader sold Bsilva and Aguero for a hit to get Kane but has benched Robbo and TAA. So he fully expects Man City to score but sells 2 of their attacking players.

    Hypothetically if I made a transfer and then used a free hit, would the new player still be there after the free hit has finished?
    Also, would I have two free transfers after using a free hit if I didn’t make a transfer before using it?
