Wolves take on Huddersfield Town in the second of two Premier League matches to be contested on Sunday afternoon, with kick-off at Molineux at 16:00 GMT.

The hosts will be carrying the hopes of a significant number of Fantasy managers today, with Rui Patricio (£4.6m), Ryan Bennett (£4.2m), Matt Doherty (£4.9m), Ruben Neves (£5.0m) and Raul Jimenez (£5.9m) all boasting an ownership of 10% or higher in FPL.

Not one of the Terriers’ starters features in more than 2.2% of Fantasy squads, meanwhile.

Doherty, as expected, has recovered from the facial injury that he sustained at the Emirates a fortnight ago and lines up at right wing-back.

On the opposite flank, the injured Jonny (£4.5m) is replaced by Ruben Vinagre (£4.3m) in what is Nuno Espirito Santo’s only change to his starting XI from Gameweek 12.

David Wagner is without the suspended Zanka (£4.4m) and the injured Chris Lowe (£4.4m), with those two absent defenders being replaced by Tommy Smith (£4.4m) and Erik Durm (£4.4m) respectively as the Town manager rolls out a 3-5-1-1 again.

Only Manchester City have allowed fewer big chances than Wolves this season, while the West Midlands club rank third for fewest shots in the box conceded.

The Terriers have scored fewer goals and created fewer big chances than the other 19 sides in the division.

Only five clubs – all of whom have played a game more – have registered more attempts on goal than Santo’s side in 2018/19.

Doherty has had more shots on target than any FPL defender this season, while only three forwards have registered more attempts on goal than Jimenez.

Huddersfield have shown signs of defensive improvement lately, though, and have conceded the same amount of big chances (nine) that Wolves have in their last six league matches.

Wolves XI (3-4-3): Patricio, Bennett, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Neves, Moutinho, Vinagre, Costa, Cavaleiro, Jimenez.

Huddersfield Town XI (3-5-1-1): Lossl, Schindler, Kongolo, Smith, Durm, Mooy, Hogg, Billing, Hadergjonaj, Pritchard, Mounie.

🙂 Just check his score sheet in FPL - it’s genuinely jaw dropping the points the lad gets. He is unquestionably he best defender ever available inFPL, and one of the best players available.

His four blanks are Cardiff, Liverpool, United, Spurs - only one of those is really a disappointment.

And 5 clean sheets. He’s a defender, after all.

That’s 43 points in those 9 weeks; basically 5 per game.

Means he returns every 4 weeks or so as a worst case scenario, then chips in with a brace every now and then ... great for a defender

If Chelsea start defending like they did last night, then he's not worth it anymore. He's only worth it now because his CS returns are hiding the fact that his attacking returns aren't there as much any more.

They will defend like that again in some tough games after international breaks, they’ll go on some runs of clean sheets, and everything in between. Alonso will still get points through it all

He's had 0G 2A since GW4. That's 7 GW's out of 9 with no attacking returns at all. That does make me wonder if the likes of D Luiz is a better bet - a whole 1.5m cheaper and only scored 7 points less in 9 GW's.

14 goals, 14 assists, 35 clean sheets, and 40 baps in his last 77 FPL games - that’s 63 returns in 77 games - his boom-bust cycle is well acknowledged at this stage - I find it so comical that any time he doesn’t score double figures folks knees’ start jerking, and it always ends the same way -with Alonso scoring points

If you want to draw a box around this season - he’s the top scoring player in the game outside of Sterling?

    Thoughts on this plan?

    GW14: Martial ➡ D.Silva
    GW15: Aguero ➡ Kane

the only concern is Dilva would be my only City coverage from GW15 onwards, unless I find place & cash for another Citize

Dilva is good to own, only his ceiling seems to be 6-8pts per game when Sane can give you more.
