FFS Cup

The latest FFS Cup fixtures and results

A technical issue means that we have had to postpone the latest rounds of both FFS Cup competitions.

Gameweek 17 will no longer be factored into either tournament, with them resuming in Gameweek 18.

Public FFS Cup

Unfortunately, the public FFS Cup has been plagued with technical problems this week and we were unable to publish the full fixture list for the fourth round in time for the Gameweek 17 deadline.

Our very own Mark is the only former winner left in the public Cup after Gameweek 16.

He progressed with a crushing 75-35 over Alisson Wonderland, while the other two surviving ex-champions were knocked out.

donnellyc lost out 65-56 to Tibbles, while it was a close-run thing for Ninja_Fit_Saints. Both he and opponent DonGamblor finished the week on 37 points after taking eight-point hits. With the scores level, the tie was settled on goals-scored with Don Gamblor boasting two (Doherty and Anderson to Ninja_Fit_Saints’ one (Anderson).

FFS Members Cup

rrcmc is now the only former winner left in the FFS Members Cup this season after Fuzzy Dunlop was elminated in the second round.

The 1,611th-placed AC knocked out the ex-champion by a scoreline of 78-67, while rrcmc‘s 53 points was enough to beat the 32 of QuickAsAFash.

There was more success for those high-ranking managers still left in the competition.

Sir Oux, ranked fourth in the world after Gameweek 16, thrashed Giggs-Tosun Particle 83-47, while the 31st-placed RDR2 was the 89-39 victor over Lal Toofan.

Meanwhile, 10th-placed Ulrik Steinschweiger‘s huge score of 91 made for a 31 margin of victory over SARRI, NOT SARRI and Jedi Reed, ranked 83rd, beat BeingTitus 78-65.

Early thoughts for next week, quite happy with this team and can only see the most boring transfer in history; Steele -> Button... with a view to do Bellerin + Fraser -> FAnderson + Fodder, the following week...

    Fabs
    Robbo Bellerin Schindler
    Richarlison Fraser Sterling Sane
    Auba Kane Jimenez

    Steele Doherty AWB Hojbjerg

    Good morning 🙂
    Would appreciate some ideas,

    Current lineup for GW 18:
    Fab
    Alonso | Bellerin | Digne
    Sterling | Hazard | Anderson | Richarlison
    Kane | Laca | Jimenez

    (Hamer | Doherty | Hojbjerg | AWB)

    2FT 0.1ITB

Not the best lineup for this GW, but I like my squad
Obvious candidate to sell is Laca, depending on today and cup game, but maybe there's a better transfer?

Sometimes, the hardest transfer is not making one at all.

I would agree. Assuming there's no injuries in todays matches it may be better to keep your team as is, rather than force a transfer for the sake of it.

Have 2 free transfers and WC still intact, so looking for 2 week punts, any suggestions?

    Ederson - Hamer
    Alonso - Robertson - Doherty - Balbuena - AWB
Sane - Felipe Anderson - Richarlison - Fraser - Stephens
    Kane - Aubameyang - Jimenez

    2.1 ITB as well

Was thinking Balbuena, Stephens -> Bellerin, Snodgrass?

What formation would you play with those transfers though? It looks like you'd simply be stacking up your bench and giving yourself a selection headache.

If you're looking for a punt you could maybe do Fraser to B. Silva or Mahrez.

Might be a good idea, thanks. Don't have the money for Mahrez, but B. Silva is possible.
Got Fraser for 5.5 though, so lots of money tight up in him.

Any suggestions here? 2FT. 0.4 ITB

    Fabianski

    Sterling, Eriksen, Fanderson, Rich
    Kane, Auba

    Hamar, TAA*, Kamara, Højbjerg,

Considering ditching Kane from GW19. I’ll have 2FT. Which of these do you think looks better (if any)?

    A) Kane, Fraser > Salah, Kamara
    B) Kane, Fraser > Hazard, Jimmy/ Chicha

    Fab
    Laporte, Doherty, Luiz
    Sterling, Sané, Anderson, XXX
    Auba, Wilson, XXX
    (Hamer) (Schindler, AWB, Gunnarsson)

    Advice appreciated
