Both of Manchester United’s Double Gameweeks have been confirmed after details of their rearranged games were revealed on Friday afternoon.

The Red Devils were waiting on new dates for the Blank Gameweek 31 visit of Manchester City to Old Trafford and the Blank Gameweek 33 trip to Wolves.

The first of those has been pushed right back into Double Gameweek 35 and will be played on Wednesday, April 24.

The second of those, the trip to Molineux, has been brought forward into Double Gameweek 32, to be played on Tuesday, April 2.

That means we now know the schedule for the remainder of Manchester United’s season.

Their Double Gameweeks will look like this:

Double Gameweek 32: Watford (home) + Wolves (away)
Double Gameweek 35: Everton (away) + Manchester City (home)

The first of those looks more appealing than the second, with Paul Pogba (£8.8m) and Marcus Rashford (£7.8m) looking almost essential for Double Gameweek 32, possibly even Triple Captain candidates.

For now, we only have one set of Double Gameweek fixtures for Manchester City which looks like this:

Double Gameweek 35: Tottenham (home) + Manchester United (away)

If Manchester City win their FA Cup quarter-final against Swansea, that will add a Gameweek 33 home match against Cardiff to their list of psotponed fixtures.

With Double Gameweek 35 now already taken for them, it could mean we have an opportunity to pig out on their assets in Double Gameweek 32 with Fulham (away) and Cardiff (home) the potential cannon fodder.

As for Wolves, their Double Gameweek 32 looks like this:

Double Gameweek 32: Burnley (away) + Manchester United (home)

Currently outstanding for Wolves is their postponed Gameweek 31 meeting with Arsenal.

With Double Gameweek 32 now taken up for them, it is probable that this will move to Double Gameweek 35. If that were to happen, then they would have a nice looking set of doubles that week of Brighton (home) and Arsenal (home).

The Premier League have confirmed that there will be no more Double Gameweek announcements until after the FA Cup quarter-final matches on March 16 and 17, which coincide with Blank Gameweek 31.

Think it's more a question if Man City reach fa cup sf...then Chelsea - Brighton will be in GW32

How many points should Auba score in order to keep him (Not getting Aguero i mean) ??

Shouldn't even be a consideration. How many points he scores this week has no bearing on his or Aguero's future points.

I also have Auba and also want Aguero. The thing is, Jesus is back from injury and Auba will definitely play 90 mins. I could downgrade Fanderson to upgrade Rashford to Aguero and have both Auba and Aguero but I am not sure I want to do that either. I am really stuck on FPL at the moment. Dropped 400k places in the last few weeks (thanks in part to Aguero's hattricks)

Aguero have West Ham which must be as good, and better form. Both blanks, but up to that Kun has by far the best fixtures. And now Arsenal can´t just field an also ran team in EL, This will of course depend on who you´ve got in the first place, if you have one i´d stick with him as transfers are precious.

how essential is salah now? Apart from those penalties, has he been 4m worth more than mane? Thinking of playing mane & sterling.
Current rank of 162k (was 32k in gw 12). Thinking of risking it now.

He will have like 200% effective ownership in the blanks. So basically essential if you are trying to hold a lead. Mané worth a differential punt if you are chasing I guess.

He's no where near as talented. Been expecting something like this from Deulofeu since pre-season. Watched his games for Barca last year and he didn't look out of place alongside Messi and co. He just needed time to adjust to the league.

I wish you’d told me this before I shipped him in my draft team on Thursday, finally got fed up with the blanks. Took my mum out for her birthday dinner last night, it got ruined by updates from that game 🙂

You probably made the right call, that's just unfortunate.

No one could have predicted when, or if it would happen. He first joined Everton when he was 19 from Barca's youth academy, and they teach a very specific way of playing there that is not built for the Premier League. He's 24 now, and is finally getting a run of games in this league, injury free.

I'm not saying he will go on a run this season, but if Watford have good fixtures at the start of the next season, he'll be in my GW1 team for sure.

Interesting opinion in the article about essential many United for GW 32. I would argue that Watford and Wolves are the best of the rest (7th & 8th best teams). Watford! You say? That is Watford with Doucoure, I haven't done the research but would make an interesting article to accompany to the one that is probably coming about Deulofeu. Watford are a completely different beast with Doucoure and Wolves have been great all season so I don't see United's double he as essential.

Have been a big fan of Nuno and Wolves all season, credit to Watford too, but Pogba and Rashford have already returned against tougher opposition under Ole. It’d be dangerous to go into that double without them IMO, dependent of course on what other games are put into said double.

So for this week 27 I have C on Son but losing him next week rather that Laca is an option. Currently no City attack so would you go

    B. Son to Sterling

Reading this article no more dgw announcements until after 31, ok there is a two week gap to GW 32 but does this give enough time to get everything organized to have more dgw fixtures in 32?
If it is sufficient time then fine, just would like opinions on this as I don't know.

my initial reaction was that this prob means no more GW32 games but the 2 weeks between and the fact that the picture is a lot clearer also for the FA after next round the outcome is up in the air. Thins like Chelsea, Arsenal going further in the EL cup also could affect this as i think FA don´t care if they have to put a game in a week of CL, so if Chelsea goes out for Kiev those CL midweeks could be a slot for them too, with little foundation whatsoever my feeling is that the games could be spread out a bit depending on what happens in domestic and european cups.

AWB is injured and there´s a lot of games coming up, Kola one good game but then it goes south with Arsenal´s fixture, Shaw has two decent games but then Arsenal away, Haz and Chelsea completely out of form, and you want City but Silva, although the price is good i´m not sure that´s the way to go. i can see the reasoning here as you then can keep the other from the big guns. I would def wait

Digne -> TAA probably the smartest move here?

    Fabianski.
    Pereira, Doherty, Bednarek, Digne .
    Pogba, Salah, Son.
    Firmino, Auba, Rashford.
    Hamer, Camarasa, Felipe, AWB .

if he is injury free that is, it´s my plan to bring him in, Pereira stats are better but 0.4 is a bit considering they´re playing for the same team in similar positions (until Amartey is back Pereira plays RB).
i can afford both but also thinking Chilwell just because my plan is much easier to do moneywise if i choose him, and a more personal reason is i like him more as a player.

for those with all chips and planning on FH GW32, WC GW34, BB/TC GW35 - which clubs should I be bringing in players from / which clubs should i bet getting rid off to negotiate blank GW31/33?

Assuming city get fulham CARDIFF in 32 (I know it may not happen but no harm in pretending it does) then very excited bout tc32. Thats the way to be different but of course it depends how your team is set up for 31/33. Love the idea of fh35 too so defo gonna explore this. Nailing a fresh kun tc in 32 (he doesn't play internationals and city don't have cl) would be immense. The cons though are

    A) Won't know if city have dgw32 till after 31 deadline. Could always go Pogba tc though (wolves WATFORD)
    B) Every man and his dog will be kun c in this scenario so if he does less than amazing all the fh32 crowd will prob smash you
    C) Fh a much better chip than tc so don't compromise your 31/33 team to nail tc32

Gotta think kun ll get 20points though and means can use fh in another week. Defo exploring this strategy

FPL wise he was bad, but on the pitch he was decent imo. Snoddy was the one who looked better in FPl terms, Fandersons positioning was a bit worrying as he was either too deep or in a position where he must be lucky if he gets the ball, either way, West ham with Antonio on the right side seemed to aiming for him at the back post, from Cressweel or Snoddy which means the one who suplied the supplier was Anderson. Subbed is a little worry although three games in a week to come could explain why.

He was okay himself, just told not to attack. Different role and tactics compared to what I've seen before. I believe the idea was just to keep him fresh and let other WHU players do the running.

Surely they can't do much away at Chelsea and City & fancy Fulham to score at Southampton?

Just risky benching players who are capable of hauling so it's either that or BB

Yes Fulham will score. 100% sure of that. Son could haul but less likely. BB still too early imo. Better played in a double gameweek.

                Few days to ponder...

I guess it's a bench of Son, Anderson & Bednarek then unless I get an injury or suspension 😉

Depends if you have free hit and Tc.

This BB will be pure profit, using it later might get you more points directly, but how many points will you sacrifice after that gameweek with players that might be suboptimal

Well to get a strong bench in 35 you’ll have to sacrifice points points in 33 and post-35 is imagine.

I’m in a similar position to you, no wc, and would BB this week but would have to take a hit to get a playing GK.

Bench would be Fraser/Arnie, Bednarek, Digne

Sounds like you are in a very similar boat but only advantage I have is I can get a 2nd keeper for free.

Would just be annoying if bench scored like 7 points but as you say with no WC it's hard to build a team when teams blank and then suddenly have a DGW so maybe now is the time to use it and concentrate on using the other two chips and building your team sufficiently the best we can around the fixtures?

Yup. See how injuries look etc.

Also try and work out what sort of benches you may have between now and the end of the season.

If you discount the blanks, your FH, and you TC, there are really only 6 weeks that you can use it.

Yes just doing that now and wouldn't use it really besides 35 which is when I may want to TC.

Need to check Boruc is defo first choice as well now as he is a big part of this. Not only for potential BB but also deputising in the blanks

Benching Anderson against City is easy, and he's looking exhausted. Bednarek is against Mitrovic, Schurrle, and Babel, and is in a crap defence. Defo those two.

I can't wait for that game. It should be a really entertaining match. Expecting a Liverpool win, unfortunately, but who knows with this United team. I'm good thanks Scotty, just looking forward to the pub later 🙂

Rotation might me better phrasing, Silva has a bunch of players in the same medium level which he seems to rotate and Rich in the two last sequences og 3 games in a week played Start-Sub-Start. Either way, Cardiff will beat Everton and Everton won´t score, if they do Warnock will prob do something punishable by law to his players-)

Well, obviously. If everyone had a single team, then perhaps it would be fine, but I bet he has several.

But this is fine for PL as they want this inflation as it makes it look like more people play, when in reality it is probably 4m, with 2m duplicate accounts, and that is probably kind.

The latest DGW announcements mean that Arsenal and City join United and Liverpool as members of the big 6 who can't have a DGW32 and a game in blank GW33. Spurs and Chelsea do still have chance, but they are both relying on Brighton losing to Millwall, then their chances are still only 50/50, as what would be their only postponed game could be playing in DGW35.

isn't the chance of Chelsea - Brighton in GW32 pretty high?

If City win vs Swansea in FA cup, their match vs Cardiff would go into DGW32 (because their United match has already been confirmed to DGW35).
This means Cardiff play Chelsea and City in DGW32 and have no room to also play their match vs Brighton in this week. This would open the door for the Chelsea - Brighton match to played in DGW32

      1. Spurs v Brighton could be moved to 32 instead. All games are being rearranged when all blanks are known after GW31, so all assumptions are off other than the couple of obvious ones (i.e Man City should go to 32 if they beat Swansea, and Wolves v Arsenal will go to 35)
