There is no evening Premier League game today so the FA Cup semi-final between Manchester City and Brighton and Hove Albion takes centre stage.

Kick-off is at 17:30 BST.

This is an audition of sorts for the Fantasy assets on show as their clubs enjoy two fixtures in Gameweek 35, while the Seagulls also have a Double Gameweek 34 before that.

Despite being described as “nearly fit” by his manager on Friday, Sergio Aguero isn’t part of City’s match-day squad at Wembley.

Gabriel Jesus leads the line again, with Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva flanking the Brazilian.

With Oleksandr Zinchenko injured, Benjamin Mendy makes his first start since November.

Glenn Murray is back in Brighton’s starting XI after a benching in midweek, while Anthony Knockaert returns to the right wing.

Full-backs Martin Montoya and Bernardo also return, while Solly March misses out through injury.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Mendy, Laporte, Otamendi, Walker, Gundogan, Bernardo, Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Jesus.

Brighton XI: Ryan, Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Bernardo, Stephens, Propper, Bissouma, Knockaert, Murray, Jahanbakhsh.

Mendy is such a good player.

Can't help but think if he had been fit for majority of this season that City would be a good way clear ahead of Liverpool at the top of the league.

Doesn't look like he's been out for months at all.

The worry is how long he'll be fit for.

True. I was just commenting mainly on how good he's looking in this game rather than his appeal as a Fantasy asset.

I'm all for being informed of people's good scores. It's nice to see some times. Just phrasing/timing.

Can't stand humble-bragging. If it's intended as such then it's infuriating because I just imagine Roger Federer telling me how good I am while rubbing his better score around his nipples, and if it's not then it's just a poorly written comment with no awareness whatsoever.

What, in the game on Monday night? Which is part of this GW? So, by definition, is a fixture over which now, post-deadline, you have absolutely no control over regarding your team selection?

Or are you on about the fixture after that, which would make more sense so you can garner some consensus as to keep him in your team or not.

He will probably swing back when WCs get activated, its whether that happens before his price drops which is the problem

The fact you need to ask doesn't help Salah's cause.

      100% Salah.

He'll outscore Mane from now until the end of the season now.

    RMWCT draft #1

    Ryan Leno
    Kolasinac Trippier Duffy Doherty TAA
    Martial Mane Sterling Son Camarasa
    Kane Lacazette Jimenez

    0.7 ITB to do

Camarasa > JWP in 35 and playing BB in 35

Arsenal conceded 27 goals in 14 away games. They have 2 games at home and 5 away. I wouldn't double up on their defense. Actually I'm thinking of going without Kolasinac.

Question for the more knowledgable folk than me. The mods seen to pushing WC button today, why not after GW 34 and load up for GW35? Is it for the BB chip? I am just outside top 10k so I consider myself fairly in the know but didn't see this strategy coming so if anyone can enlighten me it would be appreciated.

BB chip. DGW34 also. GW33 team is meh if B'mouth etc.

        • 10 Years

DGW34 is cardiff and brighton! Will a wildcard GW34 will give you a good team for both 34 and 35 with a full 11 of DGW players for 35? I didn't really see that as an option and it seems complicated to predict. Thats why I was only wildcarding for GW35. My team seems 'okay' for 34 but my question is am I missing a trick here?

you can't play two chips in one GW, so yes - we are WC34 so we can BB35 (large double GW)

        7 years, 3 months ago

Oh I know you can't play two chips in one GW. But I would argue that Wildcarding in GW35 will be more beneficial unless your team needs work. You will have more information and put out a more effective 11. I guess the question I'm asking is a wildcard GW34 will give you a good team for both 34 and 35 with a full 11 of DGW players. I didn't see that!

How’s this looking for an initial wc draft?

    Ryan Foster
    Duffy Taa Valery Dunk Kolasinac
    Sterling Mane Son JWP Deulofeu
    Aguero Jimenez Kane

Triple Bri def vs Bou + Cardiff at home could be golden or too risky?

Really want Kane but with Spurs away at City just 4 days later, surely there is a good chance of limited time for Kane vs Hudd. They can win comfortably at home without him you’d think.
