In last week’s relatively tranquil episode, patience was being preached. This time around it’s a different story as bandwagons pick up pace, early transfers are made and tempers become frayed.

Joe, Az and David consider the merits of Norwich’s four-goal hero Teemu Pukki and other bandwagons ahead of Gameweek 3.

The dos and don’ts of addressing the heightened transfer market activity this week is a key discussion in this latest episode, as our podcast trio give their tips on knowing when to jump aboard and when to wave a player away.

Along the way Az and Joe round on David’s differential nominee and whether this bargain-priced midfielder can be a regular member of Fantasy managers’ line-ups.

Meanwhile, Az is forced onto the back foot when it comes to justifying a double Liverpool defence strategy early on in the campaign.

The Fantasy Premier League community’s love-affair with Liverpool assets across the park is also considered, with differing opinions continuing when it comes to the merits of Reds frontman Roberto Firmino.

The Scoutcast crew do sing from the same hymn sheet eventually when it comes to their opinion on Sheffield United fans’ dubious teamsheet predictions.

Elsewhere, the best bets for clean sheets over the next four weeks are examined and the crew reveal their transfer plans and the players they have already brought in.

This Scoutcast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe to get notified of future live episodes.

In addition, the Scoutcast and all our other podcasts are now also available via our Soundcloud channel.

I am thinking of benching King and start others, but not 100% sure, maybe they get some odd penalty

King. The Cherries best football is the counter-attacking kind. And in the age of VAR, any team can give up a penalty.

You'd have got a player who has returned 2 points over one who has returned 24? Intriguing.

Don't get me wrong, I think Kean will come good, but the whole team won't play through him like it does with Norwich and Pukki.

Okay guys help me choose my wildcard team below please!

    A)

    5-4-1

    Ryan
    Taa, AWB, Soyuncu, Zinchenko, Digne
    Salah, Sterling, Martial, Son
    Jota

    Button, Ceballos. Greenwood, Wickham

    B)

    4-5-1

    Ryan
    Soyuncu, AWB, Zinchenko, Digne,
    Mane, Sterling, Martial, Son, KDB
    Pukki

    Button, Lundstram, Barnes, Greenwood

A has a stronger bench with Ceballos but B right because of Kdb?

    Button Lundstram Soyuncu Wickham

0 FT... Shout I keep the team as is or go King > Pukki for a -4?

    Pope - Button
    AWB - VVD - Digne - Zinchenko - Lundstram
    Sterling - KDB - Salah - Martial - Dendocker
    King - Jota - Greenwood

  11. columbus189

Had a pretty good start but used the Wild card as I wanted some players in before prices went up. Looking at something like this now.

    Pope

Holebas - Targett (think he will start next game) - Soyuncu

Douglas Luiz - Mane - Martial - De Bruyne - Sterling

    Kane - Rashford

    Lundstrom - Pieters - Greenwood.

Anywhere I can improve? Should I downgrade Rashford and get Salah?

You set your team up with one up top, so inevitably a lot harder now to get a premium! Move out Moura And Perez and downgrade to get Kane.. -8 max

Any VAR stats yet, e.g how many penalties awarded by VAR that the ref didn't award? How many penalties awarded then reversed by VAR, same with goals allowed/disallowed, etc?

My more or less locked in WC team:

    Adrian
    Digne AWB Zinchenko
    Sterling Mane KdB Martial Mount
    Rashford Pukki
    (Button, Lundstrum, Kelly, Wickham)
    £0.1m ITB.

Loose plan after GW4 is to downgrade Rashford after Palace (H) and SOU (A) to Barnes or Kean and then use the spare funds to upgrade Zinchenko/Adrian or Mane -> Salah if needs be.

Absolutely. Can't have everyone, and wouldn't want to captain him going forward aside from this week, so not worth the funds imo.

More or less correct. He has Rashford/Pukki I have Kane...

          Pope
          Digne, AWB, Zinc, Lund
          Sterling, KDB, Martial, Ceballos, Mane
          Kane

    Heaton, Button
    VVD, Coleman, KWP, Zinchenko, Lundstram
    Salah, Sterling, Trossard, Pérez, Dendonker
    Aubameyang, Wilson, Greenwood

    Armed with 2FT

Which option do you think is best?

    A) Perez & Wilson > Martial & Pukki

    B) Pérez, Aubameyang & Wilson> KDB, Rashford & Pukki - 4

    C) Aubameyang, Wilson & Pérez > Kane, Pukki & Martial - 4

Flow with the mount. As a Chelsea fan, I am sure he will start atleast the next 3 to 4 matches and if he keeps his momentum, I don't see why lamps would drop or rotate him. At Chelsea current form, they are not in the luxury of toying with their squad or dropping thier most in form player. If he flops, you can easily swap to trossard.

Would you do King to Pukie for -4 (currently King is benched) ? If yes who would you bench this GW?
