I’m still not convinced that Kun will start. Can someone convince me before I do Kun to Auba for free?

    1. Epic Fail
      7 years, 28 days ago

      He normally starts.

    2. TheDragon
      7 years, 28 days ago

      What would upset you more:

      A) you transfer Kun out to Auba and Kun starts and gets a hattrick

      B) you keep Kun, he is benched and Auba gets a 9 pointer

      Then decide

        C) I leave Kun in and blanks and Auba continues his steak!

          That’s B

this sentence is incorrect..."kun blanks" not found in 2019/20 PL

Kun is never on the bench and not involved. Even if he does start on the bench, he'll come on for atleast 20 minutes, maybe 30 & still manage to get returns.

Its Pep. He doesnt operate on the same level of logic as we do. No way to forsee Jesus starting 2 games in 4 days yet he did.

      2. Salah’s Sonnet
        7 years, 28 days ago

Depends, when he stated Aguero and Jesus have different qualities to suit the style of play he desires.

i reckon at home he prefers kun. I guess.

He did play Jesus vs Wolves last year imo?

    6. FPL Forward Thinker
      7 years, 28 days ago

Aguero last was name a Premier League substitute by the Etihad Stadium announcer on January 14th 2019.
Ironically, that was versus Wolverhampton Wanderers and Jesus scored a first half double.

Jesus only has started 1 of the last 13 at home since (in Premier League x10 and none of the Champions League x3 (This took place v Cardiff on 3 April when Aguero was injured)

Aguero started 9/10 at home in Premier League and 3/3 in CL since that Wolves game in January.

Really, you ask, will Aguero play closer to 30mins, 60 mins or 90 mins and most importantly will he score a quality amount of points to satisfy you versus a Wolves side returning from Turkey and thus hold your transfers (giving you 2 FTs for GW9, after the IB)

Or use your transfer and stick a equally brilliant striker v Bournemouth.

Both Aguero and Auba play next four H A H H (Home and Away) thus have great fixtures.
For me, I think Aguero is a risk to start at Palace away. Jesus has started a hell of a lot of away games when both are fit.
Also Auba might be rested once Laca is back, but as they are romping in europa, it’s a maybe not as Auba will prob rest on a Thursday or be limited to last 10 -15 mins like tonight.

I’m sticking with Aguero as bought at 12.1 (now 12.2) and Auba may not rise before Saturday and even if he does, so be it. I’d rather have two transfer for GW9.

We already knew that Kun omitted from Argentina National Football team before his last CL match.

I think he will start this weekend and getting his international break rest, while the likes of sterling, bernardo, mahrez won't.

you have 2FTs just downgrade one of Tomori or Diop to Rico or 3.9 def.

You have too many playable defenders, picking which one to play every week is going to drive you mad when you keep leaving points on the bench

                7 years, 28 days ago

Really miffed about the team. Was all set to hold until the IB for 2 transfers and do a mini WC, now not so sure. Was banking on Ceballos as backup if KDB is injured but he just played the whole game...

    This ok for this GW?

    Pope
    Lunds - Digne - TAA
    Salah - Sterling - KDB - Cantwell
    Barnes - Haller - Abraham

    Ceballos - Soy - Rico - Button (1FT 0.0ITB)

Barnes and Haller on last week for me as they both have decent home fixtures. Thoughts appreciated!

West ham actual goals conceded are actually higher than expected goals conceded.

    Fabianski stat is interesting.

    1. diesel001
      7 years, 28 days ago

West Ham have massively overperformed defensively and it will catch up with them IMO.

Ignoring the Man City game, xGC = 11. Actual goals conceded = 5.

Even if you think West Ham are a good defence (say 20% better than their xGC) then you would have expected them to concede 8 goals by now.

Fabianski is a GK that significantly contributes to West Ham having a defence that is better than their xGC IMO.

It is why I went Tomori over Diop and Aurier when looking at the stats last GW.

Would you downgrade any of these premiums to get Auba, or just go without?

Sterling and Haller > Mahrez and Auba keeps tempting me - I know it’s a crazy transfer but I’m down at 1.8M OR and fancy a shake up!

    Pope
    TAA, Ota, Lunds
    Sterling, Salah, KDB, Mount
    Abraham, Pukki, Haller
    (Button, Cantwell, Mings, Rico)

Playing Lundstram (wat) over Soyuncu (lei) is the correct decision this week surely?

Thoughts on Cresswell? Might appear guilty of chasing points but 3 of the next 4 fixtures look very good. CRY(H), EVE(A) SHU(H), NEW(H).

I think he’s worth a shout mate I’ve brought him in this week for Aurier, 3 out of his next 4 fixtures at home gotta be some reasonable returns imo

Good chance of a clean sheet this weekend but Everton is always high scoring & Sheffield Utd will be a huge match with the history, can see us conceding lacking Fab.

I had masuaku for the same reason but now cresswell has his pot, from what i've read the two will be rotating a bit because both are great players and pellegrini wants to give them both a go

If kdb is out who do I start?

    A) rico
    B) soyuncu
    C) greenwood

      Probably greenwood.

With Lingard injured, they are running out of options.

Looking at the scout picks squad, I'm not any further along in choosing my replacement for Fabianski. The ones they mention have decent matches this week, but really rough ones immediately after. The only thing that did pop up as an idea is getting in Pope and Jorginho for Fab and Guendozi. I had Jorg at the start of the season but moved him on because he wasn't on Penalties anymore. Now that Frank says he is...

    A) David Silva.

    B) Mahrez.

Peoples thoughts on Tierney starting for Arsenal this weekend? Looking for an Aurier replacement & have 5.4 to spend, looks a no brainer on performances but I can’t have a no show with Hayden also out...

He’s a risk, two games in four days just after returning from injury is a lot

Emery loves a bit of rotation, it's almost certain he'll be frequently rotating Tierney and Kolasinac. That should be enough reason for you to avoid, if the Arsenal defence hadn't given you enough already so far.

Fair shout, it’s more the attacking returns I’m looking at rather than the clean sheet. Although even Arsenal should manage one or two in this run of games coming surely! I’ll likely avoid for now

      Rodri and Sterling nailed
      Aguero likely
      Foden unlikely
      Jesus maybe
2 from Bilva, Gundog and Mahrez

For me it’s all about Bilva

Will Bilva take KDBs position or play in Mahrez position or sit beside Mendy on the bench?

      For me

      Sterling Aguero Mahrez
      Dilva Rodri Bilva

      (Sorry Gundog, Jesus and Foden)
