Assuming we get rid of this cretin in the next week or so - imagine Cantona in charge with Keano as assistant. Should soon sort them out

Seems a good plan - Saka looks the real deal and with your team looking as good as it does the only real alternative is to burn the FT. This way looks good both short term and long term

    Bottom of last page, sorry.

So I'm either saving a transfer or taking a hit this week.

I'm gonna hold kdb. If he's hurt I have to play Rico away to arsenal, which makes me want to sell Salah this week.

    Should I...

Save transfer and play Salah and Rico this week

    Or

Take a hit to get vardy and mount in for salah and greenwood

    Or

Take a hit to get auba and one of guendouzi/Saka/Mcginn for salah and greenwood?

Most people on the last page said save, but playing Rico is gonna suck this week.

I have to play Rico away to arsenal, which makes me want to sell Salah this week.

Rico could assist or worst case get 1-2 points. you probably won't cover that with a hit. Do not sell Salah

It's between pukki and Salah for me also. I'm thinking pukki as I'll most likely flip him for Wilson next week. So as it's his last week I'll let him go out with a bang. But I'll probably take the sensible option and pick Salah

Home game for Salah, plus he scored a brace in midweek, I'd go with him, don't want to dissuade from Pukki though as he has great home form and Leicester haven't conceded many.

Have us used wildcard yet? Try and keep the hits count low. Bad for rank but a bad habit to get into. I'm not really one to advise about hits, they feel mighty until GW finishes 🙁

Yh been trying to keep to that this season but I've already used my wildcard and now have a team reliant on cantwell and Lundstram starting most weeks with Rico + Hanley on the bench. Plus with kdb injured, it's looking like I'll have to take a hit or two.

Cantwell if fit (home game), I like it, mahrez has a lot of potential for an 8.5m mid and is in form. Just have a route to get kdb back planned out though.

What injury does cantwell have? Is he likely to be subbed on or is it just a case of start or no show? I really like the Mahrez pick especially if bilva is out. Kdb out isn’t ideal especially losing 0.2 only reason I’m willing to do it is cause I still have my wildcard if I can’t find a viable route to kdb back in

Best chance of clean sheet this week? Need a Fabianski replacement and most likely wildcarding next week. Currently between:
    a) De Gea (Man U away to Newcastle)
    b) Henderson (Sheffield away to Watford)
    c) Pope (Burnley at home to Everton)

    Thoughts? 5.6 to spend.

1 up. Took the plunge on KDB -> Mahrez.

C.Taylor could be the goods too.... I think he's better than Pieters and will get his spot back.

I have decided against Mane out for Auba.
But with the combination of Jota out for Mount it's more appealing and I probably would.

Pretty certain I am going to go without Auba and Vardy and hold Mane.
Instead it will simply be Haller to Wilson.
Question is do it now with 1ft or wait.
Ars defence is brutal whereas CP have been ok.
I kinda feel Wilson could outscore Haller this week.

    A. Move now and use the FT
    B. Hold and do it next week With 2FT and roll one.

Just seen the highlights. Tierney's first time crosses, my God, almost as good as Robertson's crosses.. The guy is going to be class in the PL.

If emery could play Holding in there and then persist his strange desire to play Xhaka that Arsenal defense could be better. The again, Holding wil be more popular due to price

Ha we know where Lundstram really plays. I like it.
      Yes you gotta start KDB.
If he doesn't play who cares you get someone off the bench. Hard call on who to bench between Lundstram and McGinn but probably bench Lundstram.

Just did an exciting Montoya to Tomori. Couldn’t let Kdb go since I had too much value tied for an IB injury. So I’m left with this:
    Pope
    Lundy Ota TAA
    Salah Sterling KDB Mount Cantwell
    Pukki Abraham
    Heaton Digne Tomori Greenwood

    Right order?

A lot of the talk seems to be about Aubameyang. I've contemplated a -4 myself to get him in at the expense of Salah. But in my case I could avoid a hit and get a striker who plays Norwich, Watford and Newcastle in the next 5... all this while keeping Salah.

    C. Wilson instead of Auba anyone?

    1. sminkypinky
      • 14 Years

So many good strikers with favoursble fixs. Could work, both too, but then there’s Pukki, Tammy, Kun too... so many.

That's exactly my move or hold Ft and do
      Haller to Wilson next week.
I would be losing Mane but much the same difference for Auba or Vardy or both.
It not just saving a transfer now it's saving a transfer GW13 too and if both for a hit that's a -8 overall
I think Wilson can stay with that range easily.
And yeah the fixtures swing it for me and Ars in the top 5 for worst defence with the other 3 you mentioned.

I would have Pukki Tammy and Wilson which sound ok. Pukki got Watford coming up too before he is discarded.
And Son can destroy Wat another week 🙂
        Target the weak 🙂

Cheers mate, if I go with Wilson (which is increasingly likely) I'll have the same front 3. Auba is tempting but there's a good chance he doesn't outscore Wilson by much in the short term and I lose the Salah headache 5 fixtures from now. Good luck!

after travelling around the globe with his national team not sure Son is the best bet going into gw9 and then they have Pool away. Bou attacker vs Norwich s and sounds juicy, might do that and bin my Vardy plan and go for maddison instead.

i think he will, but Wolves are much better side when they can sit back and counter while Bou can´t defend, so Auba in for me. City without KDB, and people just saying well they played well without him last year. People forget that Sané was in the mix then. Without laporte as well, there is a lot of players that are components in how they play that will not be there.

I was planning to hold my WC until IB but I did 3 early transfers (Ederson, Kelly and James to Pope, Ota and Mount) so I was on -8.

With KDB news I could not resist to WC. This is my team:

    Pope - McGovern
    TAA - Ota - Tomori - Lund - Rico
    Sterling - Mahrez - Mount - Yarmolenko - Cantwell
    Auba - Abraham - Pukki

I have 3.5 itb to do Pukki to Vardy and Mahrez back to KDB

    I am still not decided
    Soy or Tomori
    Son or Mahrez

What are your thoughts on this team?

    1. bench boost for every gamew…
      • 9 Years
      6 years, 9 months ago

Looks good, since you have Lund i would perhaps say Soy and play Lund this week. Lei def better defense. If KDB is out for just one gw and no other injuries i would be tempted to just hold even on a wc and play Cantwell. That way you get yourself to an easy swap from Pukki to Vardy even though doing a wc with a plan to bring in a player next week, i would perhaps just done it at once, Vardy in for Pukki so you save yourself a transfer along the way. Pukki must get 4 points better this week and you will get to save next week as your team would be quite good going into gw 9.
I have reposted about Son to many posters here and i´ll repeat it; he plays in the ib for south korea, long travel and they have a cl game just after which they need to win. Then they have Pool away. Brighton is not the worst mind, but Spurs usually struggle after CL midweek games and Brighton do actually doing ok defensively. Spurs on the road is also a bit meh..
