Whether you have an abundance of Fantasy Premier League chips or none remaining, this latest episode of the Scoutcast has got you covered.

Joe is joined by Lateriser and Andy to look ahead to Gameweek 31+ and beyond, with a close eye on chip strategy.

Lateriser is among the many FPL managers to take advantage of unlimited transfers in Gameweek 30+ and use their Bench Boost chip. With his Wildcard now in play, he reveals the players in his thinking and how best to navigate the weeks ahead.

Meanwhile, Joe only has a Bench Boost to fall back on. Our trio looks at the best Gameweeks to consider using not only this chip, but other remaining chips too.

Andy has used all his chips but after tinkering during lockdown with his team, he feels he is in good shape to match his chip-happy rivals.

Among the issues they discuss are what to do with Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.0m), who blanked in his last two run-outs but has two good fixtures ahead and enticing underlying stats too.

Sticking with the Gunners, there are replacement goalkeepers to mull over, after Bernd Leno (£5.0m) suffered a nasty knock against Brighton at the weekend.

The best Liverpool assets, whether Manchester City can be swerved temporarily and the unlikely appeal of Newcastle United are also in the mix.

In this packed 75-minute show, the Scoutcasters also find time to look at the best clean sheet prospects. Lateriser takes his turn to pick a differential and there are Gameweek 31+ squads to reveal.

Who will they captain and which players can help propel them up the rankings?

Vardy our of those. I’d prioritise Rashford and Jimi if you don’t already have them. DCL or Ings as a third striker.

-4, still have WC & FH

          Pope
          TAA, Saiss, Aurier,
          Salah, KdB, Fernandes, Son
          Ings, Jimenez, DCL
          Ryan, Lascelles, Dendonker, Rico

Need to move on all my bench apart from Lascelles but only have 0.1 in bank

Any suggestions please, on who should go to free up cash and potential replacements. Was thinking Rico > Holgate, Ryan > Martinez which gives me 0.4 but someone else needs to go if I'm going to move Dendonker! Southampton and Everton fixtures get tougher in near future so might use WC to bring in Rashford & Jesus depending on how they're performing and Aguero's injury

BOU are terrible and wolves likely to score. May not go big but a goal and bonus gets you 8-9 x2
Trent at home can get points against anyone

Ok back to the drawing board i.e. the 3 Cheap Defender Strategy. Works great particularly as Lascelles and Holgate rotate lovely (despite home advantage being negligible).

    DDG
    TAA, Doherty, Lascelles

First year of playing FPL after Christmas this season and taking it seriously too after being a casual. Using the BB chip for the first time and crossing the famed 100 point mark is a highlight.

Veterans around here, at what point do you giving up on trying to win the game and chase other targets? What OR do you consider a good season?

I'm not a veteran but I did actually have a season where I had a realistic chance of winning the whole thing - I gave up when I fell to around OR 100 with only a few GWs to go.

That season must've been a fluke I hasten to add because I haven't come anywhere near it before or since. Other than that I go with the general consensus that top 10k is a very good season.

That's rough. I still would take one lucky year and win the whole thing than a top 1k finish every season tbh

Same, but top 1k (where I spent a lot of the season at around 20th) and then outside the top 100k is even worse!

Haha, happens to the best of them I suppose. Still a 3 digit finish is nothing to scoff at

Indeed. Now that it's my fourth season I just consider it beginner's luck.

1st season: 35k - 'this FPL lark is easy' I thought.
2nd season: 129th - 'I'm definitely winning it next year'
                ....
Following two seasons - struggling to get to the top 300k 😆

Haha, it is for sure a bigger mountain to climb than it looks XD

                  Season 1 casual 100k

Season 2 casual 2 million (gave up week 2 cause I had 4 liverpool players and lost transfer freedom)

                  Season 3-5 casual 100k

Season 6 casual 60k. I had won my local mini league easily every year except year 2. Had a shocking start which made me chase all season for the first time. Man u game gets postponed for a bombscare si going into the final game of the final gw I am 3 points behind and only have Valencia to play. He had no one. United concede but Valencia grabs an assist. I finish first, the only time all season I got in front. Completely ignored overall ranking, honed in on my rival and him being better made me better.

Season 7 finish 3k. Found this site. Learned the mechanics. Stopped playing second wildcard immediately for fear of losing it when transfer window ends. Thought this is easy.

Season 8 finished 70k. Kick in the balls when I couldn't beat my last casual season rank. Also lost my mini league for first time after teaching everyone else how to play. Turned my best mate from rank 2 mil year before to 10k

Season 9 finished 48k. Lost mini league to my mate again. He finishes 4k.

This season I am 600k only free hit left. Mate is 50k after being 1 million like 7 gwks back. I have literally created a monster i genuinely believe he will crack top 1k and maybe even top 100. His consistency is scary.

      My first year:
      55k
      4K
      164k
      549th
      Now 1071th OR.

My goal is first top 10k, and then top 1k, top 100 and then win it.

Interesting approach a more realistic way of setting goals. You could easily get top 100 yet

I would say to have any hope of winning it then roughly rank=n^3 where n is the number of GWs left

    A - DCL and Ings
B - Rashford and ATT less than 6.0 (Ayew, Maupay, Rodriguez etc.

Final piece of the wildcard jigsaw -
    A - Martinez & Aurier or
    B - Pope & Holgate

A wee bit worried about Foyth taking Aurier's minutes but not delighted with Everton's fixtures.

Foyth is injured indefinitely. Mourinho said he will try be back for this season so I wouldn't worry about Foyth playing anytime in the next few weeks
