    Thoughts on this move?
Jimenez, DCL, Martial -> Vardy(c), Greenwood, Willian (-4)

Will give me the below with some good differentials for chasing in my ML (Mane, Willian, Greenwood and Vardy):
    Martinez
    Doherty TAA Maguire
    Mane KDB Mahrez Fernandes(c) Willian
    Vardy(c) Greenwood

    Martin Saiss Nketiah Robinson

All seem like upgrades except Martial > Willian for a hit, not sure about that one unless everyone else has him and you need to gamble

Yeah. ML rival has Martial so it's a gamble.. It's also a gamble taking a hit to have such a weak bench...

Thinking about the Pep roulette. Isnt it more likely he gives his 1st choicers a rest vs. BOU on Weds night ahead of Arsenal on the following Sat? as that's silverware he wants, and better to rest them pre that game (to avoid injury etc) rather than say Watford afterwards?

Might make a FH in GW36 more appealing? Pick up a Mahrez, Sterling etc?

That's what I'm considering as well. Chelsea have a longer gap before their FA Cup game than after, and their fight for top 4 is still on. So it might be worth doubling-up on Chelsea mids, and the City mids that we all have could get rested for the Bou fixture that we have been eying up. Also if Salah is indeed rested against Burnley, surely you'd want him in fresh against an Arsenal and Chelsea that have a cup semi-final looming.

Correct, I think he will play full strength this weekend, so Kdb, Sterling, Mahrez, Jesus. Then vs Bournemouth it will be Foden, Silva, Gundo etc

***My thoughts on a differential for the next 2 games***

Norwich take on West Ham in the early kick off tomorrow and fingers crossed we may get treated to some early team news...?

If we do, and Seb Haller (6.8m) starts, he's going in my team.

He got just short of half hour off the bench the other night against Burnley and could be ready to mix things up for David Moyes' relegation troubled West Ham. In fact, he almost made an instant impact when the ball landed to him in the box. A big chance to level went begging as his left footed attempt didn't trouble the ever impressive Pope too much. He should have done better.... a sign of rust I'm sure.

He hasn't exactly set the world on fire this season. He's scored just 7 goals picking up 3 assists along the way. But there seems to be a pattern with the teams he has scored against.

He scored in both games against Southampton, 1 against Bournemouth, 1 against Palace, 1 against Norwich and a brace against Watford. Interestingly enough, West Ham's next 2 fixtures are Norwich and Watford so he may just fancy his chances if he gets the game time. My argument is he needs to play his £45m striker (Yes...that's right... or what it could potentially rise to).

Antonio and Bowen are showing form and it could be a decent front 3 on their day.

West Ham have had 35 attempts at goal in their last 3. I would expect the chances to keep coming and if Haller starts tomorrow, he could prove to be a shrewd differential pick. For obvious reasons he's only owned by 2.1% of the crowd. Just 0.03% of the top 10K at present...... I wonder if I can slightly increase that figure?

Good luck all and here's to a great weekend of football

    1. Old Wulfrunian

What can Seb Haller bring to the team now he is back in action? And can his partnership with Michail Antonio be important to your hopes of staying up?
"We can't really judge his form because he's played 20-30 minutes. We're just getting him back from injury so he's not fully fit but he's capable of helping us out. Hopefully he will regain his match-fitness quite quickly.
"Seb and Michail worked well together before lockdown, but we've not really had the chance to use that combination due to his injury."

      1. Pep Pig
        • 10 Years
        6 years, 1 month ago

I'm almost certain he "is" fit. Though obviously there is a difference bet compared to match fitness/sharpness.
He is also protecting Haller from having pressure heaped on him with his comments. It looks like the majority of the Hammers fans want to see Moyes start with the big man too.

        1. Old Wulfrunian
          • 9 Years

Good point Pep.The logic thing is to start him and have fresh and fit Antonio for Watford and Villa at home.

    2. Rover

Also, Haller back sort of increases Antonio's appeal in my eyes, especially if they line up in a front 2

      1. Pep Pig
        • 10 Years

Absolutely mate. My midfield is pretty set but if it wasn't, then I would be looking at Antonio/Bowen. I can't see est Ham going down s backing that up, I assume they score goals and pick a few more points up

    3. Pep Roulette
      • 8 Years
      6 years, 1 month ago

Well Pep, I've the same thoughts for Haller. If he starts, I'm surely doing Jimenez to Haller for free. If Antonio and Soucek are getting so many chances, Haller will be getting plenty of them!

      1. Pep Pig
        • 10 Years
        6 years, 1 month ago

That's my thinking. I wouldn't be confident in taking the plunge unless we hear he is starting. Though if he gets an hour out of him against Norwich, he will certainly get chances. If he scored he'd be going into the Watford game with confidence so could all play out well........then again

        1. Pep Roulette
          • 8 Years
          6 years, 1 month ago

Yes the decision totally depends on early team news. Also if he doesn't do well or is unlikely to start against Watford. It's an easy switch to Ings or Giroud/Tammy for me in GW36!

      That's a really tough one.
Salah didn't play many outstanding games but somehow managed to get many FPL points this season.
I think it depends on your mini league ranking. Make sure to cover your rivals teams as good as possible if you need to defend your 1st spot.

      Chelsea if you can afford.
      Sheffield United back in business.
Burnley for the last 2 games.

Thing is I can see 1. 1 Sheffield United v Chelsea this week.

    G2G this week? FT used.

    DDG (SOU)
TAA (BUR) - Doherty (EVE) - Egan (CHE)
KDB vc (bha) - Mahrez (bha) - Salah (BUR) - Fernandes C (SOU)
Vardy (bou) - Greenwood (SOU) - Deeney (NEW)

    Nyland - Cantwell - Lascelles - Saiss

Bit worries about that bench with questions marks over playing time of big hitters, but can't justify a -4 when chasing

Any chance of Bournemouth pulling off a great escape? Or were Spurs just that bad.

But I don't see Bournemouth conceding 4 or 5 goals against Leicester!

      No shots on target.
No touches in the box for Kane.
      Penalty claim only lifeline...

They were clutching like Bournemouth who could have won it in the last 10.

Even though Spurs were poor, BOU looked decent and it won't be easy for LEI as people think especially with key players missing. BOU will go down though

      Save

I think Wolves are likely to secure a clean sheet unless Richarlison comes through again. Maybe swap your keeper depending on his fixture?
