Using FFS data and tools to find the best De Bruyne replacement for Gameweek 20

Just when Fantasy Premier League managers thought they could breathe and relax after Double Gameweek 19, many of us now have injury problems to solve.

Ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m) has been ruled out for “four to six weeks” with a muscular injury and needs replacing.

When these sorts of developments occur, there is a fantastic opportunity for Fantasy managers. With everyone going in a different direction from a common player all at once, the potential for green arrows goes up – if you can make the right choice. And, because Gameweeks 20 to 23 take place in a span of 14 days, the FPL landscape is going to change very quickly.

Accordingly, I have gone over some De Bruyne replacements to help you make the right choice ahead of Gameweek 20. As this uses extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

    The way I see it I have two options:

    A. Bench KdB, play Soucek. Save FT. Sell KdB for Salah next week for free.
    B. KdB, TAA > Salah, Cancelo for a hit. Cancelo joins Dias, Stones.

    Play 4 out of 6 of Wilson, Antonio, Watkins, Chilwell, Coufal and Robbo. Here are the bookmaker odds:

    2,60 on wilson to score
    2,75 on antonio to score
    2,75 on watkins to score

    2,17 on chilwell to keep CS
    2,85 on coufal to keep CS
    3,45 on robbo to keep CS

    So looks like I will play chilwell and Wilson at least then.
    Pretty close between Antonio, watkins and coufal considering coufal could get attacking points too.

      Didn't play at the weekend, so probably starts, plus has been starting a lot recently. Penalties, 5.5 playing for the best side in the league, a lot more involved and increased amounts of shots at goal.

      I considered Cancelo and would have gone for it if Bruno played full 90 in the cup. He was rested though, and his EO will probably be close to 150% so I will chicken out and captain Bruno out of fear
