We are again turning to the odds provided by our official sportsbook partner, bet365, to wager a bet on the forthcoming Premier League action.

As ever, we urge you to gamble responsibly and always remember: when the fun stops, stop.

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the weekend’s Premier League action 2

DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 25 MATCH ODDS

DERBY DAY

A whopping three derby matches take place during Double Gameweek 25 and offer up some cracking odds for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers fancying a small flutter.

Bitter rivals Liverpool and Everton meet in the Merseyside derby. The game promises to be a feisty affair, with both sides desperate for a win.

As well as offering the usual odds on goals and results, bet365 has some more intriguing niche markets.

If you’re backing tempers to flare in Liverpool, then bet365 will give you 5/6 on there to be more than 3.5 cards shown.

Should you think a player will get himself sent off, then putting a tenner on this will earn you £40.

With neither Everton or Liverpool’s defence impressive of late, a safe bet would be to back a high-scoring game.

If you think there will be more than 4.5 goals, then bet365 will give you odds of 7/2.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer

Get your single bets paid out if the team you back goes 2 goals ahead – for multiple bets the selection will be marked as a winner.

Applies to pre-match bets on the standard Full Time Result market for selected competitions. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

HIGH-FLYING SEAGULLS

An in-form Brighton side host Crystal Palace, who are still likely to be without talisman Wilfried Zaha.

The Seagulls defence has been particularly impressive, and they sit at the top of the expected goals conceded (xGC) table over the last six matches, above Manchester City.

Added to the fact that Palace have failed to score a single goal since Zaha got injured, a low-scoring Brighton win looks a possibility.

Albion’s last seven results, indeed, are: 0-1, 1-0, 0-0, 1-0, 1-0, 1-1, 0-0.

Bet365 is offering odds of 5/2 for a Brighton win and two goals or fewer to be scored.

For Brighton to win the game to nil, bet365 has odds of 13/8.

Should Palace manage to hold the Seagulls, then bet365’s Money Back Offer will get you your money back on certain bets if the game does result in a goalless draw.

Bore Draw Money Back

Refund for any Soccer game that finishes 0-0 at bet365.

Applies to losing pre-match bets on any Correct Score, Half-Time/Full-Time or Scorecast markets. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

BACKING BAMFORD

All eyes will be on Patrick Bamford in Double Gameweek 25’s first game – Wolves v Leeds.

Bamford has been one of the most consistent FPL assets this season, having the most attempts on goal and shots in the box of any forward this season.

His Leeds team also face an out-of-sorts Wolves side, with losses to Crystal Palace and West Brom in their last six games.

Despite this, Bamford is priced at 9/2 to open the scoring at Molineux on Friday.

For punters fancying more of a differential, midfielder Raphinha has even better odds.

The Brazilian has outscored Bamford over the last six games, and is priced at 9/1 to score the first goal.

I'm thinking about it too. He's the outright (C) favorite so there's that...

No worse than me TCing Sterling last GW. His raw 7-point return is about what I'd expect from Bamford.

      Easy move.
Rodriguez isn’t liking the cold and is being kicked around.
      Plus Liverpool this week.

On the other hand, he has games in hand. I'd still lose him for Raphinha myself though.

Think I'll hang onto Digne due to good fixtures but JRod feels too great a risk - injuries and limited game time. I didn't have any problem swapping him out for Raphinia

We do have more games that’s true but it looks like Ancelotti is protecting him.
He’s not starting every game and comes off the bench for cameos in those games if needed.
First season in the Premiership. Probably find it tough to handle the pace twice a week.

We also don’t turn up against lower teams like Newcastle,Fulham then play well against United,Arsenal,Chelsea.

I expect us to be up for the Pool game.

So the dgw dilemma appears to spin on whether Spurs also have Southampton or Fulham after Burnley?

All of these teams are likely for gw26 and most will form the majority of selections anyhow.

So people would be selecting Southampton assets for this week then can try to switch to Fulham for 26.

But you'd be pivoting from attack to defence partly.

Guess the keeper is an obvious switch if people still have a Southampton keeper in their side.

Rodgers has said he will be managed and I think there are better picks out there, like rudiger or if you want a slight risk alonso

          1. Vlekz
            5 years, 4 months ago

Rodgers prioritises prem over everything, so I thought pereira might play around 5 out 6 games atleast and not play any other competition.
And I will downgrade TAA to alonso if it doesn't work out in 27(just wanna see how Liverpool play with Fabinho back and if alonso does play against tougher opponents)

I've just been looking at his stats - they don't look great (marginally better than PVA) but it's a limited sample. I like Leicester's fixtures and he could get big points if he can get into some form. But it feels punty - going to check what other doubles might be available

Fernandes over Salah. Cancelo over Shaw. Definitely wouldn’t have TAA either.

      1. Vlekz
        5 years, 4 months ago

I won't captain Fernandes this week. After that salah has better fixtures and is the captain option in 27. Still Fernandes over salah?

I already have triple city : ederson dias and gundo.

Any idea which 2 defenders I can get instead of TAA + strujik? I will FH in 29

        1. DAZZ
          • 12 Years

Ive gone Alonso. He’s so dangerous he’s worth punting on. Easy sell if not.

          1. Vlekz
            5 years, 4 months ago

You think he will start the tougher games? He isn't defensively sound and him vs salah is a nightmare.
I was looking to downgrade TAA to alonso in 27 if alonso does play all 3 till then

    Couple of quick questions folks

    1) If you had to pick the best option for this gw, Raphinha or Ings?
    2) If Ings doesn't double in gw26, is it worth getting Ings (-4) for 1 gw? or just do Antonio > Kane as i def want Kane for 26

    Raphinha captain anyone ?

Yes. I'm going for it. But it does come with a risk. If Bamford bangs and Raphina gets nothing, it might be a huge drop.

Struggled to get into the top million, It would really hurt if I went down there agin. The upside of the move could be huge though.

      Yep.
60/40 at the moment over Bamford.

Same here. I don't expect a clean sheet, so a blank is 2 points for both.

Yeah I think so. He has scored more than Bamford over the last 4 gws and he gets more for goals scored 🙂

Raphinha is highly owned only on FFS I guess. Overall is too low. Anything he scores will be a good bonus.
So playing it safe and going bamford

Current front 3 is DCL, Antonio and Bamford

Should I use my FT to switch out one of my flagged forwards (the other probably goes to Watkins next week)

    A) Antonio
    B) DCL

If so, should I bring in:

    1) Kane (better fixtures and probable but unconfirmed doubles)
    2) Ings (definite double this week, but playing in a side with zero form)

    Cheers

      A

      DCL likely plays.

Not sure tbh as it could backfire if either plays. I can see Antonio scoring vs Spurs if fit and same for DCL who also would have a double in 26. Wait as long as possible for injury update!

Yeah I’m waiting on pressers later. Leaning towards Antonio to Kane, but need more info on the flaggings

Going without Kane next week then?
I have that decision next week.

          Will be one of
Raphinia > Salah or Bamford > Kane for me.

One of the reasons I'm reluctant to wc today is kane fitness(and lack of fixtures)

I’m actually coming round to getting Salah next week. Think he could cover Kane.
Plus makes Salah >> Aubamayang just for 29 an easy move.

      I want to say yes.

But West Ham home to a travelling Spurs at midday on Sunday could go anyway.

      What's Antonio's latest injury news?

          Both high.

Gundo was playing high and hauling alongside Kev before the latter's injury.

Working on a wc25 draft and looking for a 4.5 GK to add with Martinez to BB26.

Who would score the most points for dgw26?

    A - Areola - cry, TOT?
    B - Sanchez - wba
    C - Mccarthy - eve, tot/mci?
    D - Johnstone - BRI, EVE?

    Cheers

A, C, and D all have 40-60% chance of dgw26 as per Crellin

    Couple of benching dilemmas:

Who to start: Martinez or Guaita?
Who to start: DCL or Antonio?

Martinez DCL. Everton will surely score. Villa tight while Leicester unpredictable, plus palace are just poor

      Martinez for GK easy

As for up top neither are great options but would start Antonio (just) over DCL

        Eh guys!

Seems to me Brighton don't score much while Villa are starting to fall under more pressure at the back (and Foxes are pretty hot).

I think I have enough doubt over Antonio's hammy to prefer Dom.

True but palace have looked pretty rubbish imo. Just feel like Brighton will find a goal or two. Tough call though
