With some plum fixtures and plenty of in-form players on offer, we’ve picked out the top options for all Fantasy Premier League (FPL) budgets.
Is a Manchester City defensive double-up still viable? Are there better options than Emiliano Martinez (£5.3m) in goal? We assess all the options in the Premium Members article below.

Something funny about this season - has been a massive struggle but I'm still in LMS and the Cup!
Do people honestly think Bruno can perform well against a well oiled defence of Chelsea and/or they relying on points v Palace?

Chelsea haven't really been tested yet under Tuchel defensively IMO. Wolves, Burnley, Spurs, SU, Newcastle, Southampton, all teams that are either pretty blunt going forward or have been in poor form recently. I think people are reading a little too much into their defensive record without seeing them against better teams
This is very true. I might hold my WC until GW30. So tempted to push the button this week but I already have a decent squad bar 4/5 players I want to shift for new ones.
If you're good then hold, never know when another injury crisis or covid outbreak might happen and it could be invaluable, but at the same time if you feel like using it will make a good difference then go for it. I used mine last week around an hour before the deadline, I had no intention of doing it but realised I had around 5 or 6 changes I wanted to make towards this week and it let me do that as well as bring in Bamford and Raphinha last week meaning I'll only likely take a -4 or at most -8 this week when otherwise I would have maybe had to take -16 or so between the two weeks and still wouldn't have been happy with some that I had
This is currently my squad. Thoughts? I would like to keep a hold of the West Ham lads as I think they have decent fixtures coming up contrary to what the ticker might say.

Thanks. Luckily I have two FTs and will probably take a hit to get one or two of the Leicester boys in. I really don't think Spurs are going to spank Burnley or Fulham. Toyed with the idea of getting Kane in but I just don't see him setting the world alight, nor Son, not against those good defences.
To clarify 5 of those 6 are in the bottom 8, and Spurs are 9th

Can even look to downgrade the GK spot if short on cash for these moves, best week to take a hit and get it done with

Think I prefer Leicester defensive prospects in immediate fixtures - Burnley Brighton and SHU 3 of next 4
Maddison query and 5 fixtures over 2 and a bit weeks makes me doubt their staying power. Thought there were signs last week against Villa of that and the EL fixture is still very live - unlike Spurs

Looking good. I have very similar (Dallas, Konsa, Sanchez over Lowton, Struijk, Pickford - but may go Dallas -> Keane).
Gtg. Follow the herd and captain Kane imo. Don’t want your BB to do well but your overall score to suffer due to the popular captain pick outscoring your differential.
Currently on Gundo, but my captain picks this season have been awful

Any money ITB? Keane & Targett or even Aina should be good options (losing Coufal if possible). It's a good Team but you might struggle against those with 11 DGWers and of course those on BB.
Thanks - if taking Coufal out I have 5m to spend which is annoyingly 0.1 shy of Shaw and Keane but Targett/ Konsa or Aina options. This would mean benching Dallas I think which makes me nervous against Villa... One to ponder!
Odds on Kun being eased back in over 26 and 27? I'm thinking one off the bench and one start quite possible.
That might threaten Sterling appearances perhaps but I also wonder if it'll tweak the multiple false 9s City have been deploying.

He's got to play some minutes now surely, difficult to see how it would pan out but yes you would think the shape would have to change. I don't think he's going to get enough minutes for it to be a real concern, but will be interesting to see.

For sure, the defence is a distasteful, hopefully doesn’t effect Kane’s output to much and like you say, should spend most of those games moving forward
I'm avoiding. W see how weaknesses in defence affect the whole team with Liverpool. Secondly, the report of squad unhappiness with tactics seem credible. Right now if I had money for a premium forward and go with Vardy and keep an eye on Werner. Two well-managed clubs, tre.

Is there another way? I wouldn't lose Sterling, and I wouldn't get Son in. I'd stay away from Watkins for now - DCL (and obviously Kane) better options.
B leaves you a City player light but looks the better option. Can you spend -4 to get another City defender?
The Sterling to Son swap would be to fund the Ings to Kane transfer. Another option would be to swap Creswell (good form) to a non-playing 3.8m defender......
How does that compare?
