Fantasy Premier League’s second highest-scoring defender make a return from injury for tonight’s match at Turf Moor.

Aaron Cresswell (£5.6m), who trails only Stuart Dallas (£5.3m) for FPL points among players in his position, is back after a three-game absence for West Ham United’s trip to Burnley.

He’s not the only popular FPL asset who makes a playing comeback following a spell on the sidelines as Michail Antonio (£6.4m) returns for a first appearance since Gameweek 30.

Craig Dawson (£4.5m) is also available after suspension and returns to David Moyes’ starting XI.

The West Ham boss has made five changes in all, with Manuel Lanzini (£6.4m) and Said Benrahma (£5.9m) recalled along with that aforementioned trio.

Jarrod Bowen (£6.0m), Fabian Balbuena (£4.1m) and Ryan Fredericks (£4.3m) drop to the bench, while Angelo Ogbonna (£4.7m) and Mark Noble (£4.5m) are not in the squad at all.

On Ogbonna and Noble, Moyes said ahead of kick-off:

We lost them in the game against Chelsea last week, Angelo and Nobes. We’ve got a couple back but we lose a couple as well.

The Burnley team news is nowhere near as headline-grabbing, as manager Sean Dyche has unsurprisingly named exactly the same side that defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 a week ago.

Chris Wood‘s (£6.4m) ownership has risen to a season-high 3.2% following his 20-point haul at Molineux.

A further 105,780 Fantasy managers recruited the Kiwi ahead of last Friday’s deadline.

Jesse Lingard (£6.7m) is the most-owned player on show by some distance, sitting in just under one in three of FPL squads overall and in 88% of the top 10,000 teams.

Burnley XI: Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Brownhill, Westwood, Cork, McNeil, Vydra, Wood.

Subs: Peacock-Farrell, Norris, Gudmundsson, Barnes, Stephens, Rodriguez, Pieters, Bardsley, Dunne.

West Ham United XI: Fabianski, Cresswell, Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Benrahma, Lanzini, Lingard, Fornals, Soucek, Antonio.

Subs: Trott, Randolph, Balbuena, Alves, Bowen, Fredericks, Johnson, Odubeko, Coventry.

Out for weeks & weeks, yet Michael slots in easily and bags a brace for his first double-digit score of the season. What a guy.

Coufal back to ticking over. Clean sheets? No. Assists? All day every day.

Footballing aside, how many here do believe that Bitcoin and ETH can seriously affect way we earn and look at our national currency. Do you think eventually it will replace dollar/pound etc or be a huge asset at best like gold?

I have some of it but not more than 2% of my total funds. I will take huge hold of it if Amazon starts accepting crypto as then you will have most material things being bought using crypto... My tech friends who totally believe in it and on other side investor peeps who think its fully speculative...wanted to know the pulse of common joe...

As I said before, still not reach million funds, its at 780k dollars right now...Hold 15k of it mostly Ethereum as it atleast useful in blockchain contracts, not just a store of value like bitcoin...ETH has doubled from buy price already..wondering whether to add more or.not...

ETH rallied after the report the EIB could launch a digital bond. If the banks start trading it then it would really take off but there’s been a lot of pushback on that

Best way I’ve heard it described is by Warren Buffet this week; check out the quotes.

It will not survive prolonged downturns, but the profit on the way up is real, just don’t be the guy caught holding it when the popularity dies off.

Buffet said he is alright on that one whereas Munger is disgusted by it. Yes its still speculative thats why not more than 2% of my holdings. Thank you for your insight :)9

To be fair, Dawson was a risk and your head was turned by him converting a couple headers. Coufal serious competitor for team of the season.

My OR was 908k in GW31. I've taken 24pts worth of hits since then and currently sit at 350k (my best OR so far this season). Played with fear all season and got big green arrows when I threw caution to the wind. Lesson learned.

Lesson learned...? Not so much. That lesson works in the reverse also.

It’s more about keeping the right stable of players; if you do it well, hits aren’t necessary. If you need to rotate, can’t be afraid to do so.

    7. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus

You’re right to play your own game (i.e. not fear for fear’s sake) but equally it’s almost harder to get red arrows than green when your at the 3-4-500k’s unless you’re going waaaaaaaay off-piste with your picks

It’s when you try to get from 5 digit to 4-digit ranks that the greens start to become exponentially more difficult - a proper hockey stick to be climbed

And 4 digit to 3 digit is that difficulty squared again

Not disagreeing but he's played as a fullback 17 times & a midfielder 17 times this season.

        https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/stuart-dallas/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/158764/wettbewerb/GB1/saison/2020

Given the midfield status is more recent, not a chance they don't reposition him.

        1. Hits from the Bong
          • 7 Years

Yeah but in the real world, he’s filling in at midfield and Leeds will be looking to upgrade there and slot him back in at fullback. Because he’s a fullback first. imo

Nope they'll be in the market for a new LB because Alioski is off to Galatasaray.

He's beyond the stage of 'filling in' at midfield. He's a class above the rest. He's been their best player this season (maybe Raphinha a shout, but overall).

I’ll still never forgive Pep for bringing Otamendi on in the 91st minute blocking The Lord’s 21 points from first sub in GW-10-ish last season

Otamendi will either start or stay on the bench they (Me) said

According to transfrmrkt his 34 starts break down thus:

      9 LB
      8 RB
      7 AM
      7 CM
      2 RM
      1 DM

17 as a defender, 17 as a mid - it’s on a knife edge, but they’ll probably make him a mid unless Bielsa plays him as a fullback for the last few games

The amount of times Lingard has been clean through and the very obvious pass option and still ignored today is mental

Benhrama's decision making since the 2nd West Ham goal has been awful.

Only 1FT, plan to BB with potentially 8 DGwers if Pool has doubles.

Likely to use FT for McCarthy to Forster as per Ralph quotes

Who else would you take out of the below? Each transfer will be for a hit

    A Strujik
    B Burn
    C Dias

Hammers not gonna win this. Attack playing as individuals, not picking the right options.

aye but still well out-playing burnley.
haven't had many games with the full attacking lineup like this, it's been fun

They are playing well, exactly, should be 3-1 or 4-1 by now. Burnley could pox an equaliser.

He was when they were playing together before, I think it's more Benrahma impacting Lingard this game.

Yup any given game he could reasonably hit 4 in when he's like this

Best way to setup for BB next week:

    1. Kilman Son Vydra >> Ward (or Christensen) JWP DCL (-4)
    2. Kilman Son Vydra >> Digne JWP Watkins (-4)
    3. Kilman Son >> Digne Zaha
