    Pretty bad game as a Rashford owner. Hooked on 59 mins and his replacement bagged a brace. Ronaldo won't sit on the bench forever either.

    Thinking of replacing Arsenal Assets Saliba and Martinelli with Zouma and Trossard and bring them back for GW13.

    A good move?

      I kind of have to move Martinelli this week to bring in Zaha and to have 11 for GW12, WCing in GW13 so looking at bringing him back then too. Just not too sure, Liverpool and Leeds are good fixtures, but similarly City have Southampton and Liverpool. Could move Cancelo out instead but could be a bad idea before Southampton

      Isak can go sure, but Mitro could very well be fine, in fact i expect him to be fine anyway, and KDB has a plum fixture next GW. KDB > Foden a little sideways perhaps & both blank in 12?
      Nobody else that can go for Zaha?

      1. afsr
        • 9 Years

        martinelli could go for Zaha, but I'm 0.7 short. Also have Bowen, Maddison and Pereira, selling either doesn't make a lot of sense.

        And i already did Isak -> Martial

      Not confident about Martial, Kane a good player to bring in, getting rid of KdB before Southampton is risky. Would personally do a different move.

          I'd personally not do the original transfers in that case. No point taking a -4 unless you absolutely have to. I'd keep Diaz. He can still get a decent return, and possibly match Zaha. With 5 non-playing players, I'd rather only do 1 transfer this GW and roll 1 FT. That gives you flexibility in case a new injury happens in the next couple of GWs. But if you definitely think Diaz is going to completely flop and Zaha is gonna get significant returns, it may not be a terrible move.

          1. Athletic Nasherbo

            I agree, somewhat.

            The problem I have is that I need to move Targett on. He might play in the home games but it’s a transfer I need to make.

            I need funds to go better.

            I can’t get rid of Martinelli currently, and there’s nobody else that I’d move on.

            Diaz > Zaha is equal for the next 4, maybe Zaha edges it tbh.

            But James is far superior to Targett, despite the home games he could play.

            Using 2 previous transfers on players that most likely will play is not ideal, but equally I can’t get too focused on GW12 - there’s still two more weeks to play before it.

            My gameweek 12 transfers would be:

            Patterson, Martinelli, KdB, Jesus > Guehi, Trossard, Salah, Mitrovic (-8)

            1. Ne0
              • 12 Years
              3 years, 6 months ago

              I get what you are saying. And I agree that James is superior to Targett. But I just personally would not plan on taking a -4 or -8 when I have enough time to plan. If everything goes according to plan, then it might pay off. But there's just one injury between now and GW12, it could derail your plans. If you are willing to take the risk, then it might be a good shout.

    What would be my best move? Have 2 FT and 1.5m ITB.

    Pope (Iversen)
    Cancelo**, James, Trippier (Neco, Patterson*)
    Foden**, Maddison, Zaha, Martinelli (Andreas)
    Haaland**, Kane, Mitrovic*

    Initial plan was to go Pope, Cancelo, Foden, Kane to Guaita, TAA, Salah, Toney by GW12. But now, with two new injuries and Liverpool form, I'm reconsidering. Currnet plan is Patterson, Foden, Mitrovic to Guehi, Diaz, Wilson/ Toney by GW12.

    What's the best move for this gw?
    A) Patterson -> Guehi
    B) Mitrovic -> Wilson/ Toney
    C) Something else

    Will definitely wait as long as possible for Mitrovic news before making any decision.

        Yeah true, I can move on confidently with some ease now about having no Pool cover for the next two at least. The more I look at it the more I’m thinking Diaz is the one to go, he could do well, but Zaha and Bowen in particular certainly have the chance to score much better.
