I picked Saliba from the start and had no awareness of any leaks. Gabriel scored some goals last season and that was why he was being pushed on here and elsewhere, but when Saliba was fit last year he was a Baps monster even with Gabriel on the pitch.

Expect we’re in for a bit of rotation from Mr Arteta this season, bar Partey, Rice, Saka…

Possibility of Arteta instigating a sort of 'central defender rock-paper-scissors' exercise with Gabriel - Saliba - White has given me some cause for concern...

87 with Rashford still to play. I could be in the moon if Salah and Chilwell goals weren't disallowed. Currently overall rank 16k! Sorry just had to boast a little since I've never had this good of start and might not be this high ever again this season.

My thoughts are Brighton, rather than the player is getting performance.

The general consensus seems to be that Grealish will come back in on the left, Alvarez to number 10 in place of KDB, Kovacic in midfield with Rodri and Bernardo on the right, but I'm waiting to see the XI for the Super Cup on Wednesday

Henry stood out for me. I'd get him this week if Chilwell hadn't become a priority. I'm semi-booking in Henry for GW3. Botman could be a GW5 transfer.

Happy to totally contradict the old cliched myths that transfers are wasted on cheap defenders and goalkeepers.

Of course, Mbeumo is nailed and pep roulette was back on before the season even started so not sure if Foden gets the minutes. I think his spot would have been more nailed if he would have delivered.

Just finished watching MOTD2, how was that not a penalty against Jackson? I understand his hands were close to his body but he just nonchalantly palmed the ball out of play!

The worst of the worst was when Leno tried to pluck a ball out of the sky behind Tarks who blatantly just stood his ground and did nothing (NOTHING) to impede him when he fumbled it.

It resulted in a goal but was disallowed for what? FOR WHAT?

Absolute jokers sat in that VAR room of anti football. And so it goes on. and on. and on.

That's not my argument. It was a piss poor decision every day of the week.
You can talk about goalies getting over protected and all that but it was so obviously a g/k error there with no doubt whatsoever.

What is Tarks supposed to do in that situation.... disappear!
Get phased up into the Star Treck Enterprise....It's outrageous and moronic!

I agree the Everton goal should have been allowed, but that wasn’t down to VAR. the red had already blown the whistle for the foul, so the game was essentially stopped before the ball was in the back of the net. Nothing VAR could do to overturn that, just a really really poor refereeing decision.

As mentioned earlier in week im taking a different approach this year and have chips being played from the off (BB week 1). Im on FH this week 2.

    Then wildcard week 3

For WC week 3 which is better structured A or B

    A
    Turner Areola
    James Chilwell Estup (Botman, 4mil)
Saka Rashford Salah Richarlison (yes i think he will be value) 4.5 mid
    Alvarez Pedro Haaland

    B

    Ederson
Chillwell James Saliba (Trippier, 4mil )
    Maddison Richalison Saka Rashford
    Haaland Jackson Alvarez

B is more fixtures specific, A is longerterm holds

        Cheers im 50:50 at min

        Its basically

        Areola / Turner + Botman + Salah + Pedro

or take Salahs 5 million over Maddison and upgrade to

Ederson, Trippier , Jackson who all have some excellent fixtures coming up while Salah from week 3 has some middling fixtures

        Turner

        Salah (c) Gibbs-White Diaby Mbuemo
        Haaland Darwin Watkins

It's because there is an 8pm kick-off on Saturday (MCI v NEW).

So all the matches are still spread across 3 times slot (3pm, 5.30pm, 8pm), it's just later than usual.
