I'm tempted to WC this team.

    Wait one more week or?

    Pickford, Turner
    Chilwell, Saliba, Estu, Baldock, Bell
    Salah, Saka, Mitoma, Mbuemo, Rashford
    Haland, Pereira, Archer

Don’t need WC. Got 2 FT?
Downgrade Rash and upgrade a FWD. Move Pickford after Wolves. Rest of team is perfectly fine.

No way is that a wildcard.
Pickford Periera the only ones I’d get rid. Rashy/Salah at a push and get better bench defs, but not urgent.

I think waiting a bit is the best strategy. With additional minutes and new rules we will likely see more injuries and suspensions. Make a transfer unless necessary. Almost raged transferred jackson out but held a bit. Only removed bruno due to price and not delivering for foden. Even if he does haul i think foden offers way more value than fernandes

Funds will definitely be useful later on in the season, I can’t see the cheap midfielders and forwards keeping up, especially Brentford tbh
Do think Newcastle and Pool assets will be needed at some point and that’s when the funds will be useful

Decision time this week despite having decent fixtures overall.
Stones, Gabriel, Pedro/Watkins, Bruno/Rashford a few guys on the chopping block.
What stands out for you here in terms of moves?

    1. Stones/Pedro -> 4.4m (Gusto) + Jackson
    2. Stones/Pedro-> 5.3m + Wissa.
    3. Keep Pedro and change Watkins.
    4. Something else including a hit etc.

    Pickford.
    Chilwell, Estupinan, Gabriel.
    Fernandes, Martinelli, Rashford, Saka.

    1) Stick with (starred are players I'd replace):

    Onana* - Turner
    Saliba - Estupinan - Chilwell - Baldock* - Tarkowski*
    Salah - Saka - Bruno* - Bowen* - Trossard*
    Haaland - Ui-jo* - Mubama*

    or

    2) WC to this:

    Areola - Turner
Saliba - Estupinan - Chilwell - Van de Ven - Gusto
    Salah - Saka - Foden - JWP - March
    Haaland - Alvarez - Wissa

Not sure about Alvarez in on WC, or Wissa to be honest. The spine of your current team is fine, just needs a few transfers (don't know how many FT you have)

      1. Drop Dead Tsimikas

I get the concern around Alvarez (also the reason I'm considering Diaz over Foden), but why Wissa? He's got good fixtures, on a good run of form and Toney isn't back until next year.

I don't get this to be honest.

There is so much money to go around without Salah in your team you can easily have five great MF and Wissa and play or bench accordingly on the fixtures.

Started without Estupinan (stupidly I admit) because I didn't think Brighton would get too many clean sheets.

    Onana

Cheers man! Yeah apologies I should of stated.

It’ll be Pedro, and one of either Bruno or Rashford. Favouring Rashford at the moment as he just does not look at the races at all, at least Bruno looks more involved i guess.

Not rushing it tonight as nobody should change price here, but just laying the groundwork as I’m likely to do it after the Arsenal game.

Is just plain stupid not to own estupinan? Didn’t start with him due to being burned last year and the incoming “bad” fixtures, but Brighton are looking very good.

Do I just do stones to him instead of the planned move to Saliba?

(Lots of other issues to fix, but think Stones out is the immediate priority)

    Pickford | Turner
    Stones* Chilwell Henry (Kabore Baldock)
    Mbeumo Odegaard Son Rashy Eze
    Haaland Watkins (Mubama)

I have the same conundrum lol. Somewhat vindicated in that Brighton haven't kept a CS against Luton or Wolves - maybe the two worst teams in the league - but the attacking returns can't be ignored. I'm torn

its the attacking bits that are more fruitful from a defender, specially if its all the time

This is it. Estupinan getting so far forward, it’s not for the clean sheets. Same as Chilly really!

It's hurting my rank massively whenever he returns. Easier just to get him in the team this week than have this keep happening.

Will u do salah to foden and capt him for a try

No I would captain Haaland, but Fulham have looked really bad so Saka could be an option

Thanks both - done, although went Rashford > Mitoma as I think he is slightly more nailed long term at LW for Brighton.

Rashford. See how Eze goes tomorrow, but the extra cash itb could be useful if you do Rashy.

I'm keeping both united lads for the forest game. Happy to show patience on that

Watkins to jackson is a fixtures play and not much else.....but feel it's a move worth making just about

Fair enough. I hope you're right, we were shocking in 2nd half v Spurs and Rash does not look as lethal in the front position

Surely Ten Hag won't play Rashford there again. Martial has got to come into the team or Sancho false 9 or something.

I don't even know mate. Neither of them 2 are good enough so I can see why ETH wouldn't but Rashford just doesn't look comfortable in that position. I actually think he looked sharp in the first half but don't think it's his bread and butter playing there

I have a similar team and that's the move I'm eyeing up. Either Jackson or Alvarez.

Yeah the luton game and Chelsea fixtures are v good

I'm v scared re pep rotation....so happy to pass on alvarez I think

It's a fair analysis but I'm concerned that Jackson hasn't found form yet. And Alvarez, if he does play, doesn't exactly have a bad fixture v SFU either albeit away

Have city got the depth for rotation? Don't see Pep dropping any from that 11 frequently. Atleast not in the attacking half of the squad. What do you guys think?

Any of these worth a -4? Would start both changes

    A) Joao Pedro + Garnacho to Alvarez + Sterling
    B) Joao Pedro + Garnacho to Wissa + Sterling (already have kinder Mbueno)
    C) Joao Pedro + Garnacho to Alvarez + Foden
    D) Joao Pedro + Archer to Alvarez + Wissa (play 3-4-3 Garnacho first sub)
