Bit of a boring one this....

Play Baldock (EVE) or Kabore (WHU)?

Kabore's attacking stats are better. Don't really expect either of them to keep a clean sheet...

Baldock more likely of a cs though I reckon I’d play him. Tough one

Baldock has a better chance of the clean sheet but you're right his attacking stats aren't as good. I'd instinctively say Baldock but this is as good a week as any to play a Luton player, the emotional response of the first Prem game at home.

Is it just me, or are a lot of people a lot more sensitive these days.
For example, Take this forum, which I have lurked around on for 10+ years.... People react or respond so harshly at times to comments which either they don't agree with or don't like. Same on HYS articles on the BBC and well most boards these days.

Like life... you don't have to react. Don't rise to it, don't waste unnecessary energy if it doesn't float your boat... just move on and you're heart will thank you for it later..

To quote whomever said it, I may have the quote wrong... Be nice !

I've noticed that you get more people quick to chuck the word 'troll' about when people disagree with them. It's a place for discussion - don't submit your (sometimes daft) opinions if you don't want people potentially criticising them.

I recommend avoiding Foden. Should be good for a haul this week but then it's two games and rotation time. He is competing with Silva and doku on the right or Grealish on the left

Jota isn’t nailed on, especially after that performance of Nunez. I have the same problem and planning to ship him for Sterlo/Madders after press conferences

Yeh I think this - I'm set on shipping Jota > Madds bar any bad news today.

I thought Jota would have explosive potential to counterbalance his minutes risk, but it hasn't really materialised yet this season and now he's competing with Núñez and Gakpo for 1 position.

Twitter put ads in your tweet replies, so the more impressions / interactions you get, the more ad revenue you generate. Basically why there's so many fake ITK accounts popping up these days - they know they can post absolute garbage and people will engage with it anyway.

Obviously great for big accounts who were tweeting lots anyway, but there's definitely been an increased number in chancers just posting absolute rot (like the majority of this Salah 'news') or inane questions like "Would you like your club to sign Mbappe?" and hoping for engagement. Not surprising considering there's actual cash incentive.

I also think you only get revenue from blue tick interactions.

The rule of thumb I heard on ad revenue from YouTube videos with views in prime markets (UK, Germany, USA etc) is around £4-5k for every 1 million views.

So you'd need to be releasing new content with a million unique views in prime markets at least every 2 months or so. Or more frequently with lower levels of engagement if that's your sole income and to cover usual living costs etc.

        Looks fine.

The one I'd want is Foden though not Sterling. I still think Foden > Maddison > Sterling. People that didn't get Foden last week are blinded by Maddison and Sterling. He's the priority still imo. City's fixtures are the best and he was incredible against Newcastle. Only reason he missed the game last week was because of illness.

      Haaland Jackson Antonio

Certainly looks the weakest link but he's also super cheap so guess it's more of a case who do you want to target rather who you want to get rid of.

Thinking of either Colwill to Chilwell, Beyer to Gvardiol/Dias, or rolling transfer. Thoughts?

Sterling/Walker for Mitoma/Shaw or Foden/Maddison and Antonio for Mitoma/Joao Pedro?

Took Foden out of my wildcard. My research suggests Alvarez is key for pep in the middle taking kdb's crucial dynamic role. Losing kdb and Gundogan means Alvarez is training and adapting to be the most advanced 8. Foden and Silva don't have the right attributes. I do think Foden will be key as the floating attacking mid but that has to be at the expense of Silva and doku who offer tactical alternatives on the right hand side.

On a wildcard i would 100% keep Foden, he's playing Fulham at home...

Can see some hauls on the horizon for Alvarez for sure. Just a shame that he is pretty much reverse out of position and only gets 4 points per goal

Yeah he's got plenty goals and assists in him if he gets the gametime

If I’m on a WC this GW then Foden is one of the first player I’d have

Yeah that was me a week ago too. He is a high upside pick no doubt about that. Also nearly certain to start against Fulham. After the international break I think it will come down to pure luck deciding if he starts in the premier league or in the midweek games

What research? I would suggest Foden is more creative than Alverez and the latter would be more prone to rotation

It's funny how each week certain players get the momentum of the mob and become absolutely essential. Until the next shiny toy next gameweek lol

imo ---IN MY OPINION he is...i watch football...ive seen him play a lot recently, he is in his best position now. he didnt get rotated last week he was sick, pep seems to love him again after newcastle, city have some lovely fixtures coming up and they are the best team in the league.. its not exactly a hot take

I fully agree this free role with no kdb in the team suits him to a tee and if I was the manager he'd be the first name on my team sheet because he is just a different class and ready to take over from kdb and dominate football. Unfortunately pep is VERY particular about tactical requirements. Alvarez is fulfilling what's lost without kdb and Gundogan in attacking midfield. Foden coming in off the right in this free role replaces kdb's creativity. They make a great duo. Pep tends to favour control and simplicity over flair in midfield play. So Foden gets free role when his guile is more suited but it will be doku when pep wants width and mahrez type attacks on the right and it will be bilva when he wants to be more conservative

Wonder how the signing of nunes will affect Alvarez and foden…don’t think he starts this weekend but will be interesting going forward after the international break

Yeah, you would assume mainly bench / share minutes with kovavic as he gets intigrated but can't see Rodri being rested in any games

He's very versatile ay I think his speciality will end up being the David Silva role. Bernardo took it over but doesn't quite have the guile of Silva. Nunes could be that guy. But yeah can see him sharing minutes with Kovacic and Bernardo

Start Baldock (EVE) or Estupinan (NEW)?

        Tough one on fixtures:

        Shu 17th, 5 conceeded Vs Eve 20th 0 scored
        Bri 6th, 5 conceeded Vs New 13th 6 scored

Easy one on player: Baldock 3 points for 3 games. Estu 19 points from 3 games.
