2 assists from the game is solid (no way mo has xA of 2), you have to look at it like if no deflection there's no 3rd assist anyways

Harsh scoreline for Wolves, should have been 2 or 3 nil at half time. Liverpool started so slowly. Neto looking in form, good differential.

They can’t take that away as they can’t prove it was going for target, surely if in doubt credit the attacker.

Just watched it about 5 times, the ball was curling outside of the foot towards the goal, you can’t say for sure it wouldn’t have been on target can you

No, it deflected quite a distance before it reached the goal, so nobody knows how much curl would have affected the eventual direction of the ball ending up.

All I’m saying is if you can’t prove it then credit should always go to the attacker.

Well what done for being able to accurately predict the path of a curling ball before it gets deflected and thus changing the spin on it.

Don't understand why people get all bothered about it TBH.

If you want Salah then get him, if you don't then don't. He's clearly going to get points and it's just whether you think you can afford him or not.

Just beating their chest. So much ego in this game.

Solly March currently has more points than him with one fewer game played, and the likes of Saka, Bruno, Rashford, Son, Maddison won't be 4.0m worth of points away from him... Spreading the cash makes sense to me.

I went crazy for the phantom third assist but in my book you've gotta be happy with anything over 8 points. If I thought Haaland was a lock for 8 points I might have gone him. How happy I am with the points will be decided more by how the Norwegian does. Have to be happy with 2 returns and some bonus, especially after a blank first half.

Its too early to make judgement. We know with Diaz and Darwin, they are way more potent. I think he will be worth at least 10M come the end of season, I agree 12.5M is way too much but he is still an option for consideration.

Team's got nice balance to it today. Bruno and Eriksen in advanced positions hopefully for some much needed chance creation.

Phew Gvardiol starts. My bench is looking dire so I needed that

Liverpool had zero midfield last season to be fair. Made them a much worse team

We have a decent squad for this season. Our defence is the issue so expect a new CB in January.

Pool are a different opposition with Diaz and Darwin in particular starting. Darwin needs consistent starts and he may well surpass Salah for goals this season.

If Nunez started, Mo likely would have had more assists and possibly a goal. Once Diaz and Nunez were on the pitch, all attention was drawn to them.

      Mo will deliver regulary.

Yeah he still has the quality. Just feel he is slightly slower than he was few seasons ago so relies more on his creativity than bursting and scoring goals for fun.

He is no longer challenging 1 one 1 and getting pens like he used to.

Diaz and Nunez created the space for Salah to run into which was non existent in the first half.

Yes, but is it going to be more assists than goals.

Yea. Solomon out wide and seems to be a good outlet for Son in terms of assists and drawing players to create space for Son.

No matter how I look at this, getting Salah seems to basically cost 5th mid spot. I think that is slightly too much. Yet, come gw9 and it can be time to WC him in.

Salah in the box is where you need him as an asset. No longer has the bullet pace but he is a mastermind at creating those chances and will score goals in there as well.

Pray that both Gapko and Jota do not start in the same match again. If anything, Gapko bench, Jota down the middle.
