    I bottomed;

    Temporary WC team...

    ^Areola, *Turner
    ^Chilwell, ^Estu, *Cash, ^Udogie, ^Burn
    ^Saka, *Foden, ^Luis Diaz, ^Mbeumo, *JWP
    ^Haaland, *Alvarez, ^Watkins

Leaves 2.4 ITB for Foden > Maddison in GW8.
Players out; Onana, Walker, Rashford, Martinelli, Mubama

Could get the above team with a -12 though as 2FTs. Could even leave Onana in the team and get that team with a -8 because of 2FTs.

    ^ = Already in team
    * = New in team

    3. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years

Wouldn't sell Rashford before Burnley. Considering a -8 to squeeze him in, even. Onana can get the Burnley game as well, as he'll at least make saves there. Wouldn't run to Turner when he's at risk

Walker isn't an emergency exit either

That's really down to Martinelli (injured lad goes first) to Maddison and roll, imo. Watkins to Alvarez at a push with the second FT

      1. Ze_Austin
        • 7 Years
        2 years, 10 months ago

After those 2 FTs, I think this looks very good for GW6:

        Onana
        Chilwell Estupinan Burn
        Rashford Saka Maddison Diaz Mbeumo
        Haaland Alvarez
        .
        Areola Walker Udogie Mubama

Far from needing a WC, imo

I haven't seen enough threat from Morris to go there for the DGW or good fixtures, especially when considering the fact that you'd have to bench someone for him in the DGW where none of the popular attackers has a truly bad game. Could be lots of benched hauls for 4 points there, unless he gets a pen

Saying this because Salah is getting more popular by the day in RMTs here, so funds aren't freely available anymore. I'd just sit Archer on the bench and hold/use the 1m

Or get Edouard for the same price and a whole lot more involvement

Fair point. Been eyeing him for this week (replacing Nketiah) , but not sure if Luton will start scoring
Burnley however do look a bit more dynamic in attack. What do you think of Lyle Foster?

Foster's stats (surprisingly?) aren't much better, but he's admittedly faced better defences than Morris has

Two points still stand against him though: wouldn't bench anyone for him in GW7, and don't think he's worth 0.5m more than Archer in a season where funds might get pretty tight

First early transfer . Usak to Alvarez. All my transfer have gone wrong so far. 2 in gw3, Salah and Archer to isak and Foden ( indtead of Sterling/alvetez, just though Fodrn "looked better" and then last week Foden to Son which is OK.

Hope for a bit of change of fortune as gw1 team much better than gw5 lol

I know I won't do it, but Sterling + Chilwell to Rashford + Lamptey for -8 is the only hit that's strongly tempted me so far this season

It's something I'd have done in previous seasons, but I'll sit this one out and leave the Chelsea duo until GW8 as planned

Chilwell to Moreno for free if he's benched again vs Villa, meaning I'll start Disasi vs Fulham and Burnley. I think it's too early for me to make long-term deductions from Poch's quotes and yesterday's benching, but two in a row might be clear enough

Sterling didn't play badly, tbh. Not great, but not bad enough to go for a hit

None of them, United are dreadful, stats look good for Rashford but if you watch the game, I’m not sure why you’d want anyone from them.

Spurs v Arsenal & Liverpool should have a lot of goals in them, at both ends.

Considering the 4.0 defenders are basically dross it may be a good idea for Estupinan owners to go with lamptey at 3.9. In essence this would make estupinan rotation proof since whenever he is benched Lamptey would cover.

    1. Valar(Keith)
      • 16 Years
      2 years, 10 months ago

Considering Baldock to Lamptey to free up 0.1 so I can afford Kabore to Botman (Currently only have 0.4 itb) . A defense of

Saliba Botman Udogie Estu (Lamptey) doesn't look half bad

True. Even if it's 2 to 3 games atleast lampts would provide cover. And if estu gets injured ypud have his replacement at 3.9.

Just a thought though since im really cooling down on luton and Burnley 4.0s and Baldock

That being said I'm a huge fan of Branthwaite. Probably the best player at everton ATM and is as nailed as they come due to being so good. So Branthwaite is my preferred 4.0 as of now if I continue with a cheap bench

                2 years, 10 months ago

I believe these should be considered:
                Lamptey but the minutes risk.
Branthwaite who will settle to be a good pick.
A Luton 4.0 for the short term.
Gusto who is playing well and RJames will not move him out straight away.

    3. Eze Really?
      • 12 Years
      2 years, 10 months ago

There are 2 issues regarding this as I see:
It takes up a Brighton spot which is OK in the short term and Estu will usually play. Lamptey played well so minutes off the bench could be order of the day which none of us want.

It was bound to happen. When Kdb out Alvarez is the one to have.
He's the Kdb replacement, not Foden. Even if a bunch of Fpl experts seems to think Pep will play Foden there, he will in short spells in games, when they need a goal, but Foden is not atm good enough in the eight position.

Need to dump onana, turner, chilwell, jackson, baldock, mubama, kabore and possibly estu. Worth a wc?

    Onana
    Chilwell estu udogie
    Salah saka maddison mbeumo mitoma
    Haaland Jackson

    Turner baldock kabore mubama

To me, looks like just Jackson and Chilwell/Baldock out solves the problem for now

No, Onana has Burnley next. Biggest weak link in the starting XI for next GW is Jackson. In def you can choose to either stick with Chilwell and hope for the best or play Kabore vs Wolves…not sure anybody out there is worth -4

Jackson would be the first priority here? Can get Botman for baldock next gw.

If you have a spare .1 mil for the price drop, Jackson can wait to avoid a Kneejerk transfer, I would think the Baldock move or even the Chillwell move should be a consideration; to work towards a Newcastle defender.

Would need the jackson funds to upgrade baldock to botman. Think I'll keep chilwell for a gw or 2 more, can see him starting again after the woeful performance.

Both Chilwell and Estu will play next gw, Chelsea plays Villa which have a very strong right hand side, so Poch will want both Colwill and Chilwell on that side. If Estu isn't injured there's no need to ship. Kabore plays Wolves which is a good bench if something happens. Jackson I can understand, but is it really that urgent? Goalie vs Burnley is not a sell, even though I have not the same believe in a cs now. Jackson to Alvarez maybe?

Keen on the alvarez move. Guess I could reassess the rest of the squad after next gw. Cheers

Jackson hat trick v Villa with juicy Chilly points for cream and cherries on top.

It's why I'm here, to kill the snowflakes next week that will be crying Trolls. 🙂

What I thought was a good team last week has thrown problems at me for the next one. I need to prioritize the following:
Turner place under threat. Can go to Areola.
Chillwell should I leave or sell?
Jackson hurting me and on 4 yellows.
Son: Where will he play next?
    Udogie or Porro?
    Arsenal fixture swing.
Should I be thinking of Luton or ignore?
Newcastle: Toss up for defenders and attackers are rotation risks.
5 Spurs and Arsenal. Who to move?
    Foden/Alvarez minutes risk?
    Which Pool to go for?
    Is Cash still viable?
    Estu/Lamptey. What will happen?

I am keeping Chilwell till GW8. If he stinks up my team then so be it. Bringing in another defender right now for him likely to give you a blank.

Fixtures for many defenders clear up from GW8.

Sounds sensible. I have 2 ft's and tempting to take on Newcastle. Jackson can go too. Priorities????? Who knows

Hold onto Son. Do you want ITD assets right now with the dirty laundry being hung and all the other problems they have?

Many will probably plan to take out Saka vs City in GW8. I will keep, Arsenal are at home that week.

Returning regurlarly and that is what you require from your assets.

it is what you get from the lucky bag atm. I would say Mbeumo Maddi are surest assets. the remainder is a lucky dip.

Yeah, have Son and Salah as well. Son FOMO probably going to bite but who do I ship him for, Maddison lol

I am going to let him sit for at least 3 GW's

Yeah, if you've not got any bench points of your own it's probably around 100k places for those ranked below 500k.
