So with Isak not playing, Solanke points potentially not counting.. first sub is Semenyo with 1, who would also get 0 and then Lascelles with 6..

Does that mean I have a 0 point forward, but lascelles comes in for Isak?

You have to field at least one forward

Yes I know that, that’s what I meant sorry with a 0 pointer, one of the forwards has to play but then lascelles comes in. Because at current if points remain, semenyo’s 1 point comes in for Isak!

You get Semenyor's 1 point yes and Lacelles 6

You can't have 0 strikers. So you will move into a 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 with a 0 for striker. Lascelles won't come on for them.

Yes, you have to have at least 1 forward in your lineup. So if Bournemouth points are all wiped out, you'll have at least one 0-point forward, but then Lascelles would come on since the other 2 also didn't play

Yeah that’s my point, I know you can’t have 0 strikers haha. I just meant if those points get wiped I’d have a 0 point striker & then lascelles subbing in for one of the others!

Just canceled my dinner reservations for tonight. Going to stay at home and keep my thoughts with a Premier League footballer that I couldn't pick out of a line up if my mother's life depended on it. The respectful thing to do.

For what it’s worth FPL had this to say after the Solly March no goal/goal fiasco, “As per our Rules, points awarded in-game are subject to change up until one hour after the final whistle of the last match of any given day. Once the points have all been updated on that day, no further adjustments will be made.”

    3. Salarrivederci
      • 9 Years

Ye. They tend to stick pretty tight to the '1 hour' rule, but in this case I can actually see it being subject to change.

If they remove all the points and removes the fixture as if they had a BGW, and the clubs agree to a 1-1 result (which I would'nt put much faith in), then they would probably have to backtrack and return the points due to no rematch. If they agree to a 1-1 within 1 hour af the last match this GW.

If they don't remove the points, and a a rematch is coming up FPL are in some wierd spot. Surely they would need to give FPL-points in a rematch where two sides fight for 3 points, and those clubs would therefore have a DGW.
That would be an unfair advantage to all the players owning Solanke and so on because they already got some points this GW.

I think the second outcome is more of a problem to FPL, and therefore they will go with the first one. Simply treat it like a Corona-cancelled match or an abandoned game halfway through due to the weather.
Should the clubs agree to a 1-1 result within the next 24 hours it will be easy for FPL to return points due to no updates, autosubs and stuff.

But for all asking to get points taken in hits returned if the points disapear. That will not happen. That is kinda the nature of the game. Sometimes you are unlucky with weather, illness, injury in warmups after deadline, red cards and so on.
This is simply bad luck due to a tragic accident.

Also thinking the same with the way all parties concerned agreed to abandon the match in the circumstances.

Not really, they could just play at the same time City replay their missed fixture, both are also out of the league cup and aren't in European competition

It's not going to be the same 22 players as today, where 60+ mins of football had passed in X weather conditions etc

They may even have had discussions and agreed on that before the game was abandoned(?)

I think there's every possibility the agreed outcome, assuming it to be a joint decision between clubs & league, is to leave the result as is with a point apiece.
Really depends on what happens over the next hours and days as to the appetite for a quick replay.

by rules, an abandoned game will be replayed.
But the competition/Premier league has the right to count the score as it is (at the time of play stopping ) if "Where it is to the
advantage of the Competition and does no injustice to either Club, the Management Committee shall order the score at the time of the abandonment to stand"

While that is applicable for the actual match, if the decision comes after the GW ends I'm not sure FPL will alter any points retrospectively.

I assume that match will see all points voided, given they'll likely replay? Or agree a draw and it stands.

Hope yer man is alright. Third collapse or near collapse in a year? That's not good by any stretch.

That's terrible and I hope he's ok - but it doesn't affect my thoughts, emotions or enjoyment in a hobbie in the slightest. And that's ok.

Many here are talking about keeping the Solanke-points or get the -4 back. I’m an owner but make sense to follow whatever happens in reality here - to get the points when this re-match is happening.

My assumption is it's auto-generated. As I'm assuming some poor fella at FPL doesn't sit there and update 22 players minutes played every 60 seconds 😀

Dyche is doing one heck of a job. Everton would be 8th and 1 pt behind Utd right now if it wasn't for the deduction.

      Everton fan here
To be fair our form improved about 1 month before the deduction .
I think they knew it was coming & it gave them the incentive to gets some points on the board .
We're slowly climbing the table .
I really fancy our chance in both the cup competitions (League & FA Cup)

I wonder why the game would need to be replayed when the referee decided to abandon the match.

He can do that in certain circumstances.

Usually, those games are not replayed.

Different circumstances, but the battle of Bramall Lane in 2002 was abandoned with the score standing and no replay.
