Their rule book is pretty trash. But games have been abandoned before.

They could make up the rule on the spot suddenly too

There better be. Obviously everyone's more focused on Lockyer right now, but this could get really messy if Bournemouth or Luton get relegated by a point or two

Just got to laugh at selling Burn this week. Did it early to catch Pau's price rise under the impression Burn was out injured until next year. Returns to bench out of nowhere midweek and goes straight back into the starting 11 for a goal and clean sheet today 😆 Ridiculous

Tbf he wasn't expected to come back this early, so there is an element of bad luck. Move on as if it never happened.. and don't make early transfers for a while haha

It's things like this that make FPL what it is. You'll remember this as much as you remember the occasional inspired transfer for a low-owned player who gets a brace. It's great fun, although maddening today.

Planning to get Watkins in for Alvarez for next week. OK to leave until after the Villa game tomorrow just in case of any injuries? Can't afford any price changes though as I might not have enough to get Haaland back the week after.

Quite. You never know, one or both of those teams might end up in a tight relegation scrap and survive by goal difference or today's point. The team that gets relegated behind them might challenge that.

Seems a bit strange to me and could be questioned as match fixing no? You are literally agreeing on the outcome of a game, idk how that could not be perceived as match fixing.

      1. noissimbus
        • 4 Years

It was halted at 1-1 though. If somehow the teams agreed to a 1-0 or 3-3 result then that could somewhat be considered match fixing.

The special circumstances surrounding the abadonment would also play a role in the final decision I reckon, as it wasn't simply snow or traffic that made the game abandoned.

Would be pretty amazed if both teams don't just agree to call it a draw. Luton would be happy with the point, Bournemouth aren't really in contention for anything where 2 pts are invaluable to them and neither would want to have to fit in the replay.

It's not like both teams have 20 players on international duty, playing Champions League in midweeks, playing the FA, playing the EFL and so on.

A team like Bournemouth should look at this and think: 'hey a 90-minute home match against Luton at some point with us attacking the 3 points could result in us staying up this year'

I think it will be whatever is decided today. I don't think anything will change (FPL points) after tonight

Live FPL isn't FPL either they can't take off points later. FPL can

The Solanke saga will not be resolved until FA consult with the oil barons who control the premiership!

Anyone know what betting sites have done with the game?

Lets say you had Solanke any time scorer

most betting sites pay out immediately for anytime goalscorer

if say, the bet was 'last goalscorer' then the bet would be void

I dont know what is the exact rule, but if for example clearly earned Solanke points are erased then all transfer expenses SHALL be also refunded if u got that player before that gw.

Do they give you a 4-pt refund every time your new transfer doesn't play?

I said “earned points”. If player does not play, he is also “earned” 0 points. At the very moment Solanke has earned 9 pts.

But case is different here. The player in question scored a goal and was in for maximum bps if not score some more goals

Yes, in case Solanke points are deducted, i will personally mail to fpl to give me back my 4 points atleast. Also i could have bought a player who scored some points this week

Solanke was the right transfer and he got the points.

    Another one of those gws....

Form goes to Rauls head, thinks hes Bruce Lee ..Alvarez goal ruled out...Gordon should have hauled...

Meanwhile the other popular template picks haul...Solanke the sheeps fav, Peno Palmer

    Livras 9 pointer nice though

Play the remaining 30 minutes of the match tomorrow behind closed doors which other leagues have done.

Pickford @ £4.4m slowly climbing the goalkeeper rankings .
Makes a good if slightly expensive combo with Leno .
Both cover each others " difficult fixtures " until the end of the season .
