If the game is null and voided, FPL should impose a transfer ban on current Solanke non-owners from buying him for the replay. It's an unfair advantage if they get him for a DGW and current owners miss out on todays points.

Can't see why they would... I guess it'll be a DGW but many other DGW fixtures could be on that week too and Solanke has dry spells.... he's not a banker

Plus his fixtures either side will be different to this game

      Let me get this straight.

Some people playing a fantasy game has some terrible luck in a fantasy game due to a real life tragic accident.

To make those terribly unlucky fantasy playing people feel better in the light of this tragic accident you should punish the pool of lucky players in the fantasy game?

Wow. Why can't all of us 11 million fantasy playing people just share the first place? Even better - everyone with more money than me should give me some?

My friend broke his leg last year. Everyone that did not break a leg last year should what? Have a finger removed?

This to date is one of the worst rule changing opinions I've ever read.

Not that I trust what is written in The Mirror, but this is what they say:

The score was 1-1 when the match was abandoned, with Elijah Adebayo heading in to put Luton ahead early on before Dominic Solanke equalised for the home side. That scoreline was not in the thoughts of anyone at the Vitality Stadium – and it won’t stand. The FA website says: “An abandoned match is replayed unless the competition rules or organisers determine otherwise. It further adds: “In the event of a competition match not being played or abandoned owing to causes over which neither club has control, it should be played in its entirety on a date to be mutually agreed by the two clubs and approved by the competition. Failing such agreement and notification to the competition within [ ] days the competition shall have the power to order the match to be played on or before a given date.”

The match will be rearranged by the Premier League, but for now everyone’s thoughts are with Lockyer, his family and friends.

The decision to abandon the game was mutually made by both clubs. It was within their control.

By my reading it's the causes that the clubs have to have control over, rather than the decision.

As a Solanke owner the only thing that matters here is the last sentence .
What FPL decide to do is a minor issue at the moment .

And as already mentioned, EPL follows the above while FPL still maintains with what's on the board if the decision comes later than the cutoff point.

@OfficialFPL FPL points will be awarded for the Bournemouth v Luton game played today which was abandoned after 65 minutes. When the teams replay in the future, this game will not count for any FPL points. While updating the systems to reflect this change, we have also decided to award Solly March his wrongly disallowed goal against Leeds and Chris Brunt his assist and update previous season ranks retrospectively.

Not saying it’s right, but the simple thing would be for FPL to announce whether the game is replayed or not, today’s points stand, and any replay will not count towards FPL. This way everyone knows where they stand.

If they do have a rule about no points changes after an hour after the last game, and tbh I haven't read the rules, no-one would think ill of them for issuing a statement of the facts wrapped up in a message of support to Locks and the other parties involved.

I reckon points will remain like this on the FPL site, until the teams and the Premier League decide what is going to be done. I think these are the scenarios:
    A) If the game is replayed before the next GW deadline, then today's points are lost, but that game's points will be added to this GW's scores as normal.
    B) If the game picks up from where it stopped (1-1) before the next GW deadline, then today's point will stand and any additional points will be added.
    C) If the teams and the PL decide that the game is "finished" 1-1, then today's points will stand.
    D) Any other case, e.g. the game gets replayed AFTER the next GW deadline, today's point are lost and the two teams will have a double GW when it is replayed.

So the question is when (and if) the game will be replayed, before the next GW or in the future.

I'm so annoyed with Alvarez! But at least I can enjoy City losing points!!!! Yay!
City are not looking like they were, and partly it's the squad. They used to have a big squad and Pep rotated a lot. Now he can't, as the subs aren't good enough. And they are easier to play against. That's Because they have now changed play to suit Haaland.

For most of the season pickford has been a player I want to transfer pit but have had other fires to fight so had to leave him in.

4 cleans sheets in a row and 30 points over the last 4 gameweeks; he is now up to 2nd in the goalkeeper charts.

Funny how doing nothing to your FPL team sometimes pays off in this game.

    Everyone here cares about Solanke...

I'm more concerned about my 2 Kabore points

Suddenly teams remembered that CS are good for actually winning their matches(except for City who continues to have an allergic reaction to it it seems). Good for us FPL managers I guess, makes even more players viable. Hopefully this trend continues.

It's not like city are free flowing in their attack either, actually quite boring watching them recently.

I agree... I turned off the match right after Alvarez scored, was so boring up until then.

If the match is void, then it should be B, in my opinion.

A: Do FPL make engaged managers happy and create some new special rule
B: Do FPL treat an abandoned match as an abandoned match

      If A then:
      1: what a joke
2: makes clear sense not to hurt the feelings of enganged unlucky fantasy managers

      If B then:
¤: Well done by FPL sticking to abandoned matches. Must have been tough with 16% owning Solanke
#: Makes me mad, but what terrible luck.

Since when did saying you're glad someone is OK (when they could've died of a heart attack) & you don't care about the FPL points 'virtue signalling'

Some of you lot must have no empathy

Yes I don't know know lockyer personaly & I'm still carrying on with my night as normal but as a human being am I glad to hear another fellow human is ok

I put about 75p in a St. Oswald's box the other day. I just don't like carrying change in my pocket.

maybe the virtue signalling part is 'I don't care about fpl points' like it's a sacrifice you are making for the cause and making the event about you
Being glad someone is OK and just saying that wouldn't be seen the same way
