Any members (or those ITK) here able to recommend one of the membership packages or is there something in the bundles that is better?

Agree. The only thing I use is the s4eason ticker. Tried other elements but seem to be of little use (at least to me). Most info is available elsewhere and for free.

I've been a member 5 or 6 times I think. It was £5 a year at first, then £10. once it went to £15 it was too much for me just for the season ticker. I honestly don't care about the stats, I love using my eyes instead.

Thanks Greg, I always used that approach but I feel there’s gold in the data! (maybe not as much as Scout want us to pay!)

What data are you looking for? There are lots of places with free information if you know where to look and what to seek out. Fbref is a great source for example

Trippier attempted 11 crosses last week against Luton. My eyes told me he's playing badly. I captain Trippier this week. Eye test wins.

I have zero interest in the bundles or any algo tools that suggest transfers etc for you. But still like the basic membership package since I use the stats area quite a bit to supplement the games I only catch highlights from. Was quite a lot cheaper when I joined, mind

    A) Gordon to Foden/Ødegaard/Jota
    B) Archer to Alvarez

    How are we doing everyone?

Darwin to Alvarez for free a good move here?

I had also considered Salah + Darwin > Foden + Haaland (-4) but Haaland news last night has put me off that. And Salah is a decent option this week.

Nobody could be that naive but managers need hope, Darwin can’t provide that, he should be removed from the game in reality to stop this type of ‘incident’ happening again!

    RMWCT:

    Martinez (Dubravka)
    Moreno Gusto Porro Gabriel TAA
    Palmer Richarlison Saka Foden Bowen
    Alvarez Watkins Haaland

Not 100% on main GK, Ederson, Alisson, Raya are the other options I'm considering.
Not sure if I need TAA with the stacked defence, think he would be the first one I'd move out.
Haaland in now to save a move down the line.

    1. Tsparkes10
      • 7 Years

Looks good. Personally having Son or Salah who can then pave way for KDB. Will be difficult for you to get back on a premium midfielder

TAA down would allow me that money, if I didn't have TAA then I'd probably start with Son over Richarlison/Foden.

    5. Porro worth the money?

Both not expected to go deep in the tournament, I think their return will coincide with Haaland's return, Don't want to break and rebuild for a couple of gameweeks. This is the team I am looking at:

          Dubravka
          TAA Porro Gabriel Pau
          Saka Bowen Palmer/ Johnson
          Watkins Alvarez Solanke

          Areola Taylor Salah Son

Can change of course if there are injuries/ massive drop in form.

Egypt and South Korea not expected? Would argue for sure. Said that, I give you that it looks strong. Just considering the number of options in mid I would be tempted to bring at least one.

    Solanke, Watkins
    (Dubravka, Darwin, Tsimikas, Lascelles)

    1FT and 5.1 itb

Tempted by Trent in for Tsimikas then start over Gusto maybe.

What you think? Any advice appreciated.

What's the consensus on Alvarez here on FFS? Worth it? Too late? Avoid?

Archer to Alvarez seems a really sensible pick to me, but for how long.

He seems a better pick with Haaland in the team, but with KDB lurking I'd avoid

If a double is announced then I'll get him, if not then I'm unsure. Feel I might prefer to punt on Nkunku or Toney

Pep said KDB was close to being in the squad for the last game, but had fatigue

KDB always makes me avoid Alvarez, as they both play that #10 role and rarely start together when Haaland is fit. Actually, I'll avoid both KDB and Alvarez because Pep will rotate them randomly, like last season

Yes, Halaand will miss the next game, but probably back vs Newcastle... And that's just about two games from Alvarez before you start sweating on the weekly teamsheets

What to do with Haaland + Digne??
    1 FT, 0 ITB

    Dub, Areola
    Udogie, Porro, Digne*, Gusto, Zinc
    Saka, Son, Salah, Bowen, Palmer
    Haaland*, Watkins, Archer

    For free, Haaland -> Alvarez
For -4, Haaland, Digne -> Alvarez, TAA

    Any suggestions?

Haaland to Alvarez looks a good move. Not sure Digne out for -4 is worth it given you've a decent defence outside of him.

Who is an actual option to pick from city?
Their defence is overpriced and underperform, and attackers outside Alvarez don't seem nailed.

Foden has been playing very well for a few weeks, I love watching Bernardo but I think whenever Doku is fit he may go back to doing a defensive job centrally more often so I'm not sure realistically how long he'll continue to be so attacking

The only attacker who isn't nailed is Grealish. Foden and Bernardo are nailed. Check how many games they've missed this season

I'd argue that the least nailed going forward is Alvarez, with about two games before Haaland and KDB return to take his only two starting spots in the team

    Neto, Areola
    TAA, Gabriel, Porro, Dalot, Livramento
    Salah, Son, Saka, Palmer, Gross
    Watkins, DCL, ALvarez

    Need to use a FT

Rest of the team looks ok
Defence is Taa, Porro, Saliba, Branthwaite

    Get rid of 1

    A) Lascelles
    B) Areola
    C) Dubravka

    Bring in one

    1) Konsa
    2) Martinez

        2.5 in the bank.

Lascelles spot likely to be 4th defender if not 5th next few weeks though. Where as GK transfer would take effect immediately

Bit miffed that I could afford to keep Haaland without sacrificing too much and it looks like he’s out for a while.

So, best move here? Haaland to Alvarez or perma-bench and use Salah/Son funds to move Gordon on?

    Dubravka • Areola
    Porro • Saliba • Botman • Torres • Gusto
    Salah • Son • Odegaard • Gordon • Palmer
    Haaland • Watkins • Solanke

I'd think having Alvarez against Sheffield United is worth it.

I don't understand the reticence to do it now, unless you are vehemently against future hits in Jan. or Feb.

I’d did Alvarez to Watkins in GW18… He’s not really a poacher, will he get much change from a Sheff Utd parked bus? I quite like getting Raul despite money being no object now!

Right, he’s my long term hold and easy bench for the next 3. I brought him in for Tsimikas this gameweek lol. I’d have been better waiting and use 2 x FTs to get Trent but had no idea Haaland would be a sell before Sheff Utd.

Looks like the universe has sided with me for the last few weeks for once after a rotten first half of the season! Haaland out for Solanke has proven the correct move, Salah in for Bruno, now no need to switch back so looks like I might be burning a transfer this week. Not sure who to cap as it would have been Haaland. Alvarez?

    Areola
    Porro Schar Gabriel
    Salah Son Saka Odegaard
    Watkins Alvarez Solanke

    Turner Palmer Branthwaite Baldock

Have thought about Son, Salah, Alvarez. Could do Salah>Richy a week early and save the FT..? Alvarez let me down v CP but he did last night what I expected him to do so maybe worth another chance.

Weirdly enough, I think Bournemouth is currently a better defence than Newcastle

So I'd hold Salah vs Newcastle and then get Rich next GW instead

Would rather burn that FT on upgrading a fringe player than touch your XI for this GW

    Morning, all.

Darwin to Alvarez seems to be turning into a popular move (maybe cos people keep saying things like this). But now Nunez’ scored, he’s suckered me into keeping for “just one more week”.

Any love for Gordon —> Foden?

Would mean having to deal with Trippier/Salah/Son/No Arsenal later on. Just don’t wanna miss out on a possible mauling of SHU.

In a similar predicament here. Was also considering Gordon -> Foden but that leaves me with 0.1 ITB and makes getting KDB significantly harder while shifting Son, Salah and Darwin (to make way for Erling). Thinking Darwin -> Alvarez could be the move and bank the cash for Haaland.... but Newcastle do look exhausted. Difficult week if you're not on WC!

Think I prefer Foden, although I'm not really keen on captaining him. Personally I think I'm going with no City unless DGW21 is announced though. While Foden looks a strong option this week, his role is likely to shift again soon with all the injury returnees, and since I already have transfers booked in for Son, Salah, etc I'd prefer a more reliable medium-term option like Bowen/Ødegaard

  26. Tsparkes10

    Current wc…

    Raya Turner
    Gabriel TAA Konsa Branth Gusto
    Salah Bowen Ode Garnacho Palmer
    Watkins Alvarez Solanke

Leaves me 4.8m itb to save gw21 and then do Salah, Alvarez/Solanke to KDB (if ready), Haaland. Thoughts?

Shambles, have 2 FT and can't even sell one of Haaland, Son and Salah

If I sell Haaland this GW, then need to waste another FT to get him back but then I will need 2 FTs to sort Salah/Son out next GW

Tricky one. Pep has really tucked people up here. Clearly was never going to play over Xmas. Glad I moved for Solanke even though it was for a hit v Luton!.

Maybe do Alvarez as it gives you some City cover plus a step forwards if the DGW is announced? Then Salah out Haaland in? Don't know about you but I'm going to try and get away with benching Son over the Asia cup games. 3-4-3 with Branthwaite first sub. Salah out Richy in.
