If there was no AFCON / Asian Cup this year I would stick to my strategy and only pick penalty-taking-midfielders. Makes it all a bit easier really.

Forwards need to score goals to get a high BPS score. (24 for a goal and 9 for an assist). 1 G > 2 assists 😉

Definitely. I think the price is really a distraction this season. Players like Palmer, Mbuemo and Hwang would have a much higher ownership if they were priced 2-3m more.

There’s just so many good cheap players. You could have a team full of them, but your only problem then is capping and the spare fifteen mil in the bank.

Bowen, Palmer, Neto, Hwang, Gross, Foden, Gordon, Mbeumo, Bailey, Olise and the list goes on, in all positions.

Probably sell both but I also have Hwang. I might keep Hwang for now and use bench defenders to cover him, then remove him when I don’t need a hit. I spose I could do that with Salah instead and just keep him benched, but don’t like the idea much.

They won't drop a lot, so it's a decision between retaining value & "saving" a transfer vs having potential points available.

Similar but don't have Son. Probaly will sell Salah, keep Hwang. More scope with more cash and might even help avoid hits.

i'll probably just sell Son, there is enough in my squad to cover one of them but not both, also Salah would be more of a pain to get back in given his price

Ah I just had an idea. We could bench Salah and then get in Pedro for our bench striker. Then just use Pedro and a combo of our other two defender subs to cover Salah whilst he is away. So switch to 3 up front.
