    Even if Haaland starts the game and Alvarez is benched, do you guys think it’s a possibility Alvarez doesn’t come on at all?

      Alvarez probably starts and plays 80 mins.

      Unless Pep thinks he needs a rest but KDB and Haaland likely to get 65 mins ish.

      Of course, if they are 3 up early then it can change in the second half.

      Brentford 1- 4 Man City?

      Nah, definitely gets minutes one way or another. Starts in place of KDB, starts in place of Haaland or comes on for one of them. Could even start alongside both but I don't think that'll happen

        Interestingly, the only previous time this season that they've all been fit (GW1) they all started.

        Rodri, KDB
        Foden, Alvarez, Bernado
        Haaland

        Obviously the most limited of limited sample sizes...

    I need some Pool attack vs Burnely (even (c) material) and for DGW, just getting one can be tricky, don't see any obvious route...thoughts?

    1) Estu and Palmer/Bailey to 4.1def and Jota
    2) Foden/Saka to Jota

    Could also consider selling TAA but still it involves a hit and one of Palmer/Bailey out.

    A) Gordon & Solanke > Jota & Cunha.

      If you assume that its the four games most likely to play, then 9 players (with the most important ones covered) is enough. If say United-SHU suddenly is one of them and Newcastle crash out vs Blackburn the question will be more interesting. If we gets upsets in the cup bringing more fixtures into play I guess FH in 29 will be even more popular strategy.

    Considering doing Saka/Solanke to Garnacho/Haaland, and keeping Alvarez for the double to get 3 City (also KDB) and 2 Pool (adding a mid to TAA).

    Or would you rather do Alvarez to Haaland, keep Solanke and only go with Haaland and KDB for the DGW?

    1. Baps Hunter

      I have Alvarez, Foden and KdB (+TAA) atm. I can't afford to do Alvarez to Haaland + Gordon to Trippier, so I am considering Solanke to Haaland and Foden to Jota. However, if Foden looks much better pick than Alvarez, then Solanke to Darwin and Alvarez to Haaland becomes an option.

      If he plays like he did last match, yes, despite assist he wasn't involved as much as you want a City player to be. I think even Rodri was more dangerous in front of goal than Foden.

      Isn't it the Kyle Walker factor that impacted his width? So, even if Walker is missing tonight you gotta expect he'll be back by the double meaning Foden will be more central, even if he is on the right of the three behind the striker

      Yeah I'm keeping through 25 & 6 then he's gone. Admittedly expectations are a little lower on the wing but he's still among the most likely to start both in 25 I think & could still get some time in the hole if KDB only starts 1. I don't really need the funds or desperately want anyone else in his place so I'll just roll with it

    Need to free some funds for Alvarez to Haaland. What is looking like the best source?

    a. Solanke -> £5.3m forward
    b. Saka -> £7.1m mid
    c. Foden -> £6.1m mid
    d. Trent -> Trippier (or maybe cheaper Def)
    e. Porro -> £4.0m

    Only have 2 non-blanking defenders in 26 so one of D and E could be on the move just to field 11.

    C would give choice of keeping Alvarez and selling Solanke

    My points this week are emblematic of this goal crazy season

    1,1,1,1 from the defense

    15, 9, 8 from midfield (Foden left)

    18, 2 from the strikers (Haaland left)

      Same figures - KDB (C) and Haaland left (Foden 1st sub)

      Benched Moreno and his 14 points 🙁

    foden -> kdb is the play if he plays out wide or is benched today which I think happens. Not involved enough in that role to justify keeping over saka/richarlison. Will only start one game in the double as well
