Morning! Am i G2G for this week, or take a hit for someone? Players in caps are those with confirmed GW29 fixtures (where i hope to avoid FH)

    AREOLA
    Branthwaite, Ake, Gabriel, Senesi
    Saka, Foden, Hwang
    Haaland, WATKINS, Solanke

    Dubravka, Palmer, PORRO, RICHARLISON

Watkins because he is differential captain material, gets big hauls, goals and assists.

I very much doubt he will be differential captain material this GW with Forest at home. Then again, guess a lot will captain Haaland.

Toney for me. Couple stats for you (if West Ham's recent defensive performances aren't convincing enough...):
      - Brentford have scored 2+ in each of their last 5 meetings with West Ham.
      - Forest under Nuno have conceded the 2nd fewest big chances & 3rd lowest xGC

Did anyone else enjoy their 85 points or similar TC, double game week red arrow?

Just proving this game is relative week to week.

Just a small red arrow for me, c.14k rank fall. Hoping to make up ground in the big blank gw29!!

        Yep

If I had kept Gross, Walker etc and forgone KDB + 4 points and hit the BB with Solanke etc playing I'd have been loads better off.

Just Trent to Palmer and rolled.

Obviously I'm not playing hindsight optimal in reality, but doing little is often the best play.

First hit of the season backfired and still bouncing around 200k.

Most popular transfer options this GW on FFS and answers will vary.

Hee Chan - more likely to score than assist
Neto - assist is higher than goals
Wolves attackers - short term opportunity.
Luiz - covers 29, nailed and on set pieces

Would you do Darwin to Solanke here? Or roll the transfer which gives more information / flexibility for GW29 and therefore chip stratagy.

Whilst it looks like I can have 11 out with no transfers, Estupinan, Tosin and Lewis-Potter all look unlikely to start / play.

    Areola
Van Heck / Estupinan / Gabriel / Tosin
    Saka / Foden / KDB / Leiws-Potter
    Watkins / Haaland

    Dubravka / Richarlison / porro / Darwin

Wonder if Forest fans, or anyone capable of keeping track of their enormous squad, can help me out here... Is Tavares likely to be a regular starter now or is he just covering for Montiel's injury? (I'm just assessing some 4m-ish fodder options for WC next week)

Forest's fixtures are much better than Brighton & I always like a bit of attacking threat (plus see stats under Nuno I posted above). Not sure about Palace atm but will have a look

different position, Montiel is a RB. Taveres is likely to be a regular starter due to Nuno's preference. Toffolo is his competition.

One Big Keith-style (RIP) word of warning: Ola Aina is now belatedly back from AFCON, and he started at LB in the two games before he departed. He can play on either side, too.

Tavares seems to be favoured by Nuno at the moment, but as people have commented above there's several options at both fullback positions for us. Williams got Man of the Match at right back last time out (ostensibly covering for Montiel's injury) which is relevant because Ola Aina is arguably one of our best fullbacks and can play either side (so could come in for Tavares on the left for more defensive stability). Toffolo was also playing well before Nuno came in but seems to be down the pecking order now. In short, it's a gamble which "could" pay off for you but by no means a sure starter.

No need to WC. Wait until the FA Cup games are done before gw27 and assess your team then.

Just do Darwin to Solanke/Watkins/Toney this week and you'll have better options next week on how to move your team forward.

Just wait for one more week and then decide on chip strategy including WC.

Get rid of Nunez for Toney/Watkins. Richarlison to Neto/Gross.

Hi, I've got 9 playing (including Estu) with 1 FT left and I'm not so sure what to do as none of the options look particularly appealing. Any thoughts?

    A) Darwin > Solanke (template which can easily wait until next week imo)
    B) Darwin > Toney/Hojlund (looks good now but surely a pending transfer out for Solanke in 28)
    C) Trent > Villa defender (are we really expecting a clean sheet tho?)
    D) Palmer > Hwang/Neto (would probably want Palmer back asap)

    Areola (Turner)
    Gabriel Estupinan (Trent* Porro* Gusto)
    KDB Saka Gross Garnacho (Palmer)
    Haaland Warkins (Darwin)

    Best Jota replacement for £8.1m?

    Already have Palmer

Depends on your strategy for blank week 29 . If free hitting Hwang otherwise a mid with game in 29. Probably Bailey or Douglas Luiz

      Hwang, Neto, Luiz, Bailey

You go Villa mids if you want to avoid FH in 29. You go Wolves if you want to attack the fixtures now and lean more towards FH29.

Can any Brighton fans tell me how has Estupian fallen so far out of favour?

He's got a bigger sword than De Zerbi and is getting punished accordingly

    So:
    Flekken* (Dubravka)
    Ake, Estupinan, Gabriel (Virgil, Doughty*)
    Diaz, Jota, Foden, Saka (Andreas*)
    Solanke, Haaland, Watkins*

    1FT, £0.2m

I have 10 players for this week but am thinking of doing Diaz and Jota to Bowen and Luiz for a -4. (and bench Andreas). This would also give me an extra player for GW29 (* up to 6)

Good plan? Or just do one of them?

Think I would play Andreas & delay the Diaz - Bowen move til 28

What are the best FH options if not GW29?

Don't like the idea of FH for 3-4 fixtures but when else to use it.

I've got 11 for next GW - with Estupinan.
    No strategy for gw29 yet.
Is it worth -4 to trf Porro to Dawson?
    Thanks

I’m not FH in 29 should I still do Jota > Hwang this week (so 9 players in 29) or someone who plays GW29 (to allow 10 players in 29)?

    A. Hwang
    B. Bowen
    C. D. Luiz
    D. Someone else
