    (a) VVD -> Ait Nouri (to free up funds for KDB -> Salah next week pending fitness)

    (b) VVD -> Saliba

    (c) Richarlison -> Hwang

Id be inclined to go with A so you're ready for Salah.
I decided to keep Richi so I have him for the palace game and beyond. He's been doing so well.

Been a long time since I've been on. Figured I'd ask the community. 42k OR, can field 11 without a transfer this GW:

    Areola
    Gab - Saliba - Taylor - Tripp
    Gross - Saka - KDB - Foden
    Haaland - Archer

    A) Save and play
    B) Nunez > Solanke/Toney/Watkins
    C) Taylor > Wolves
    D) KDB out

Yep, you might want Watkins, Solanke and Haaland very soon!

Went out on a limb this week, Tony. A big gamble but leaving Burn against Saka/Odegaard/White down that side would be massively, massively risky. He's a stubborn sort, is Howe, so I wouldn't put it past him.

Cheers Neale for the explanation. I do agree this setup allows Howe to combat Arsenal right side plus have Burn for attacking/defending set pieces. Also I don't think the midfield 3 help with defending either when Burn plays LB

Is Sarabia such a bad option in comparison to Hwang?

I have exact money to do:

    gw27: KDB out, Salah in

    1. TitusShambles

Minutes is the main detraction for Sarabia id say but as a differential it works plus enables the future move - one that we all wanna do sooner rather than later

He scored 16 pens and scored 16 goals including with Spain. Hwang takes them though over Son for S Korea.

      Sarabia could take pens???

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 7 Years
        2 years, 3 months ago

The reason why Hee Chan took the last pen for Korea

        Son on South Korea’s penalty:
“Hee-chan really wanted to take it. The coach wanted me to take it, but I saw how much he wanted it. As the captain, rather than being greedy, I wanted to show how important Hee-chan is to our team. Now I thank him for scoring.”

    Sorry for the long post.

I only have 3 players for GW29. Moreno, Doherty (probably), and Watkins

    Raya (Turner)
    Gabriel, Moreno, Estu (Gusto, Doherty)
    Saka, JOTA, Foden, EZE (Palmer)
    DARWIN, Haaland, Watkins
Darwin, Eze and Jota all leaving.

I am definitely doing Darwin to Solanke.
    Do I.

    A. Get Bailey and Bowen (or Luiz) in to have 5GW players (ignore Wolves)
    B. Go one of A or B to cover Wolves ( may go Hwang or Neto and Bowen or Luiz)))
    C. Get both Neto and Hwang

But going A leaves Villa V Luton (a) next week and Bowen against Burnley (h) GW28.
    GW 27 Foden to Son
    GW28 Turner to Neto
GW29 -4 or -8 for Spurs, and Toney. If no upsets gives me 9 players and 3 spurs against Luton GW30, and 2 Chelsea V Burnley WC30, then WC31

If I do FH I still think I have to WC 31 anyway.

Still undecided to go for the Wolves v pub team, but Wolves can have off days, or play the long game and the fixtures are OK anyway. Just a -8 to get 9 players in if there isn't an upset.

I'd avoid C and the WOL double up unless you're certain to FH29.

B looks to be a better spread of options thinking ahead but personally, I'd focus on the certain and just take out the LIV assets for replacements and play those in 26 and reassess ahead of 27 - then we'll know more about who is definitely blanking in 29

Don't think there is an optimum way to play this. I'm sort of thinking half/half this GW as bit unsure what is best.

My gut instinct says FH will be worth more in another GW, and I think I'd be happy to field 7-8 players if just 4 fixtures. If 5-6, then hopefully should be able to get 9.

Perhaps it is better to commit to one path, but I feel to kick the decision-making one week, I'm happy to pay 4 points. (eg: the cost of going Hwang over Bowen this GW for example)

Alvarez likely to outscore Solanke, and you have Jota who is going to be out for months.

Why would you not get rid of Jota first? Or simply not sure who to move him to?

I want Son next week but don't want to move anyone else to him, therefore losing Jota now would be a one-week punt and I'd only have one spare FT next week, wouldn't be able to get both Solanke and Senesi for free
