I am not FH in 29.

Should I transfer Son/Richarlison in this Gw for the Palace fixture?

    A) Gordon

Some potentially tasty doubles for Liverpool on the horizon, looking like saving the TC for Salah could be the play but all well and good in hindsight.

I think anything pre-presser is early. Look at the Hojlund injury - completely out of the blue until the presser. Not a common occurrence but does happen.

Agreed. Prefer to make a decision with all available information before the deadline.

Hojlund injury was at training so still a risk if no game before the deadline

By the same logic every transfer is a risk though and there's no really safe time to play one, most teams have training after pressers on a Friday too

Yup, just stating you can minimise the risk by making decisions with all available information before deadline. If he gets injured and wasn't known before the deadline then it's easier to accept imo

Missed the presumabley indepth chats on here... but if I can get 8 out for that BGW, then I think I'll deadhead into that and then WC for the rest of the season - use my FH in a DGW/38.

Is this standard, what most are doing if they've plenty for the BGW?

      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Huge risk FH in 38 imo given huge rotation and many teams having lost the fight plus weird results. Too many variances.

Good point - I'd probably save it for a DGW.

I think with 8 for the blank I leave more on the table if I use the FH for that TBH.

FH gets 4 more players + 8 points.

Not really. You can argue that you will be getting half the hit back in appearance points alone if replacing a player without a fixture but you are still losing 4 points to those who already have more players like those using FH, or already have an extra starter for the GW etc

              1. Absolutely - I was referring to a previous conversation with TM I had around this.

Probably best to use it now. City, Pool, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea all have a 23% or less chance of DGW34 according to Ben Crellins latest calculations so that GW is not looking promising to FH in as things stand.

His prediction of doubles usually isnt great to be honest. Atleast from what I can remember.

        1. This is true, but in this instance it's more of a case of the likelihood of teams playing in the PL on the weekend of 34 or not, which will be dictated by the outcome of the FA Cup quarter finals, rather than which rearranged matches are going to put where.

All cup probability-based. If Pool & Chelsea make the FC Cup semi's they will only have a SGW34, if City win their QF them and Spurs (at best) will only have a single GW34, and if Wolves make the last 4 Arsenal will only play once in GW34.

Wasn't planning to do Foden to Son but if Richarlison is out I think I might. Would mean Son playing centre forward where he's so much more threatening in Ange's system.

G2G? Need to bench one out of Solanke , Palmer or Bowen.

    Dubravka
    Senesi, Gabriel, Porro*
    Saka Son Foden Palmer Bowen
    Haaland(c), Watkins

    Areola Solanke Estupinan Torres

    Bench one:

How does this sound like a plan to avoid a FH? Relies on some flags being lifted on players owned obviously...

    27: Maguire & Hwang -> Son & Doughty (-4)
    28: Foden/KDB -> Non-Blanking mid (e.g., Bowen)
    29: Other of KDB/Foden -> Non-Blanking mid (e.g., Richa)

    Gives these 9:

    Areola
    Pau, Doughty, Porro
    Son, Richa, Bowen
    Watkins, Adebayo

Relies on Adebayo, Pau and Porro being fit and also skips Bou for their tasty double which is giving me some doubt....

    1. Karan_G14
      • 9 Years
      2 years, 1 month ago

Rumours Richa is injured too. But like the plan not sure there are any other Bou assets to consider for their double.

This is the sort of price non-FH players have to make, missing out some prime picks in the lead up. Whilst praying that nobody gets injured between now and Saturday 16th March.

    Turner Alvarez Burn Mengi

    A) Roll
    B) L.Diaz > Son

    Areola
    Walker Saliba Bradley
    Saka Palmer Gordon Hwang
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

    Alisson, Bowen, Estupinan, Konsa

Am pretty sure I'll be moving Hwang out to Son as my FT. Is it worth doing a -4 and moving out Estupinan for Gabriel as well, and benching Walker?

If I don't take the hit this week, I may take a -4 next week and bring in Senesi and Doughty for Estupinan and Walker/Konsa

    Will FH in 29.

Obviously, wait for the pressers, but Hwang to Son and Estupinan to Gabriel looks good on paper to me.

Kiwior a good choice? Or worth spending a bit more for Gabriel

Spend more for Gabriel. Zinc is closer to full fitness and Gab has the best attacking threat from all the Arsenal defenders.

Gabriel - Zinchenko and Tomiyasu pushing to be available on Monday which may impact Kiwior xMins

Hello fellas, need an advice for this week. Trailing by 46pts in my ML.
Go hard this week or go home?

Hard) KDB, Hwang > Son, Bowen (-4)
Home) Just Hwang > Bowen, and pray KDB starts vs MUN

I would do just Hwang to Bowen as KDB is fit and in form and can even damage from bench so not for hit, I did KDB to son for free ...Can advice me below mate?

Who is best captain this GW?
    1) Safe Haaland C vs clueless Manutd or
    2) Saka vs shu
    3) Watkins vs lut
    4) Son vs CPL
I am trying for second chance league so need one biggest upside and Manutd sometimes play well in big matches...

Depends on your OR, or mini league ranking, but I would personally go with 2

Tough call. I'd bench Gross as he has the lowest upside of getting a big haul

Want to get one of Doughty or Senesi but something tells me they will both do a 1 + 1 in the DGW.

I planned to do Estupi+Adebayo to Gabriel(double Ars def with Saliba already in) +Solanke (-4) for this week but if Solanke in doubt, then Estupi+Hwang to Gabriel+Son (-4) seems as a good move? Opinions?
