    Salah Foden Palmer Watkins Håland...

If you have 15 starters then that's perfect for a Bench Boost.

I have Kelleher, Haaland, VDV and Reguilon on the bench. How many do you expect from that lot on BB?

          Only about 11 points.
It's a pretty weak bench apart from Haaland, especially considering this week's fixtures.
The bench could probably have been stronger if more of the cheap enablers came from Bournemouth and Luton.

But there aren't that many Gameweeks when you can be sure that everyone in your squad will play - I've often been caught out by that in the past, thinking that Bench Boost will score more in a later Gameweek and then some of my players getting injured.

Agree. BB should be used as soon as you have a fit and viable bench. The four I have are fit, but viable they definitely are not this week.

Kluivert is the only major gamble, but he's in form and should keep his spot. But yes, BB28 is more and more appealing as I look at this. Click and forget, because Saturday is Six Nations and I'm starting at midday.

Way too much trust in Morris this GW. Luton seem to have been ‘figured out’ and are getting stuffed on attacks, exposed on counters, the works. I wouldn’t fall into the Luton trap, personally.

Most hits aren’t worth it. This one one might be. If you weren’t getting a doubler at the back, it would be a hard no because your bench could cover, but my money would be on the hit scoring more points than only making one move.

We could see chances of Bournemouth double in 34 increase if Brighton progress in the UEL. Coupled with Pope potentially back earlier than expected may sway me to do Dubravka to Neto (-4) this GW.

This was my thoughts with Foden against them, and obviously in the form of his life. Tough one as I've done well avoiding hits this year while staying at the top of my mini league

    2. A Fat Spanish Waiter

If you play that match 100 times, Son doesn’t score 4 more points than KDB in 80 of those games. Therefore, I wouldn’t do the hit based only on this game week.

That said, you probably want Son for KDB at some point (or Salah for KDB), so you need to do it eventually, It all depends on the longer term plans. For example, if you are gonna wildcard in 30 or 31, no way would I do that move. If you are GW 35 wildcarder, and you are contemplating a hit in 30 anyway, might as well get it over with now.

  11. ArienSikder1

why some people transfer outing Halland? I mean his price raised from 13.9 to 14.5 isn't it's a loss even if I'm wildcarding in gw 30? or I'm missing something.

I didn’t think I’d consider it but when you bring in morris for example it’s 4 games vs 2

That’s exactly it. If you are deadending your team in 29 with a GW 30 wildcard on the horizon, it makes sense. If not, it’s risky because you absolutely must get him back in 30.

        1. Tonyawesome69
          • 7 Years

You don't necessarily need him back for 30 though. Unlikely a captaincy option against Arsenal imo

    2. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 1 month ago

It's probably only 0.2-0.3m loss depending on purchase price but it's all about points.

If folks think someone like Morris that has 3 fixtures vs Haaland 1 before WC30 can score more points then don't see the issue there

I dunno maybe overthinking? Doughy 79 points, Kerkez 42. Zabarnyi, 55. Is the idea the Bournemouth defenders might attack more without Senesi? Excluding Doughty seems like a risk. (I need to bring 2 defenders in, right now it's Doughty/Zabarnyi but toying with Kiwior. Last 5 pretty impressive.

I was just addressing the CS odds above, but generally I think Doughty is alright for some home fixtures (I'll probably get him on FH29) but I just don't particularly like these DGW fixtures for him especially since Palace & Bournemouth are pretty solid dealing with crosses & set pieces

What is very difficult is that city are away to pool and Bournemouth are home to 2 of the worst teams in the league, so kdb to tavernier would normally sound crazy but it might really pay off.
