Lovely. Muniz over Morris? Definitely one I’d consider, especially after yesterday.

The only other variation from mine is Moreno instead of Reguilon (Robinson/Coufal as subs, avoiding Villa uncertainty).

      I have Elanga first sub

        Haha. Yes Son.
Yes like the form of Muniz and spurs do concede. If Reguilon fit i ll put him but think he is injured. Yeeh Elanga an option too Thanks.
I have only 2 of these 11 in my actual team so worth a free hit.

Think it’s Arsenal. Mainly because I like an outsider and everyone presumes they’ll bottle it and the other two are better.

Probably City, but Klopp's played a blinder because of the timing of his announcement to leave - pure (well channelled) emotion could carry them over the line as it seemed to do with the Carabao Cup.

Arsenal have a chance if they can sneak in late. If they're ahead at any point at the business end, I'm sure they'll bottle it.

Either way, it's shaping up to be a blinder.

I am hoping arsenal. They have been on the wrong end if poor refereeing earlier in the season and play most attractive football.
Lot will depend in todays result

Yeah I know! It's only Arsenal that have been on the end of poor referee decisions. Definitely no other team have had a decision go against them.

Many Thanks all for comments/feedback thoughts.

      It could go any direction

      1. Arsenal - on form the most attractive & surely cannot bottled it again or can they?

(Since the break of 12 days have put together great run/seem to be allowed to block runs
in the block & refs allowing - I could not believe Havertz not a second booking (sending off with a Red card for diving
      & then getting the winning)

      2. Liverpool - Klopp announcement at the perfect time - one a trophy already & being able to rota injured first teamers
look a certain a 'Ace card'

      3. Manchester City - know how to win the league on three fronts & depending on today result at Anfield, if they get through this month then possible with still similar position I would adjust City to Favourites.

It will be in pub quiz questions for years to come.

How much extra water was put on the pitch in that classic 2-2 Cherries game v the Blades?

There's likely to be scholars debating it and articles written at length in 2042.

Genuine question, Toney or Muniz for 29?
Neither look like setting the world alight.

I'm not playing my FH, so obviously Muniz gives me a lot of money itb for the likes of Haaland, Salah in week 30

I think it's a question of WC timing too. Muniz Vs SHU at Bramall Lane is a tasty looking captain punt for GW30 if you don't WC until 31 (or later) which might just swing it for me

Long way out yet so will wait and see but I’m FH29 and think my options are

      - Solanke & Son > Salah and Semenyo (I have 8 attackers at the moment so Semenyo would be benched) for -4
      - Just wait until GW31 and do above for free
      - Wait until GW31 to be able to keep Son and lose Odegaard instead but downgrade Porro in defence to save the extra money needed to fund that
      - Widlcard as I still have that!

      1. Rico123
        • 3 Years

*the losing Odegaard instead of Som option would be -4 in GW31 for 3 transfers

I have 14.7m ITB, next FT’s will likely be:

      Bowen to Salah (GW30)
      Watkins to Haaland (GW31)

    Raptor is really losing it.

Blaming FPL analytics and people like Sam from inspected goals and Seb from scout for his ridiculous decision to take a minus 12 this week.

    https://twitter.com/FPL__Raptor/status/1766476092888465823

I'm glad our membership fees don't pay for him to be a scout pro pundit (although I think that the fortune that FPL General gets after leaving The Athletic would be better spent on an exclusivity deal with Crellin!)

I don't really understand his point. No one is forced to make optimal decisions every week. But if you sometimes or more often make decisions for fun don't be surprised that some robot that only plays for EV is going to beat you at the end of the season.

      1. Sgt Frank Drebin
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 1 month ago

And even using FPL Review, you only get a list of reasonable moves, you don't even need to pick the one that has 0.1 EV more than any other! So there is still a lot of room for decisions based on personal preferences, but for certain you can avoid some decisions that would completely hurt your team (like taking -12 this week...)

Some of the streamers get loads of viewers on live videos (deadline etc) so naturally there are lots of comments/questions for the creator.

So superchats are where you can post a question or comment with money sent to the creator

Man had the option to start Areola against Burnley, but he chose to spin a wheel on whether to take a hit for Neto or not. Who is to blame here? Perhaps he should use common sense in a similar situation.

      Yeah

      It's decent.

I'm quite close to that, some difference in defence and will shuffle my Villa players around.

I've also just gone for Iwobi over Andreas and Muniz as my third striker, albeit he's benched.

I think the key is to work out which way you think the Fulham v Spurs game goes and work from there.

I expect both teams to score and I suppose 1-2 to Spurs looks most likely but a 5 goal classic encounter would obviously be better.

Hi all, looking forward I'll have Salah, Saka, Son as my core midfield. I'll either be playing 352 or 343, but struggling to decide!

I'd like Palmer, Foden and Bowen, obviously they won't all fit into a 352, let alone a 343!

Strikers likely to be Haaland and 1/2 of Toney, Watkins, Darwin, Hojlund

Which structure/players would you go for?

    1. Bobby Crush
      • 11 Years
      2 years, 1 month ago

This is currently my big question also.
Right now, I am settled on 343, as I think rotating the third striker based on who has form could be handy.
      Someone like Darwin/Isak/Høilund/Toney, for example.
The downside is that it means no Salah, I think.

The 3-5-2 would include Salah, and an enabler up front, and perhaps a cheaper 5th mid, like Garnacho.

Palmer and Garnacho are good for upcoming doubles. I think I can live without Bowen and Foden (or possibly Foden in for Son) and use Garnacho as required in a 3-4-3 / 3-5-2

It's really hard to know the best formation but I think I'm changing to 3-5-2 in week 30.

My forwards will be Haaland, Watkins (will become Darwin in 31) and Muniz, this will then allow me to have Salah, Son, Saka, Palmer and probably D Luiz, and to double up on Arsenal defence.

I've used my wildcard already, but this week I'll be able to field 10 with no hits a -4 for Salah and Palmer in week 30, then another -4 in 31 to bring in Darwin and Saliba - all these plans as always will go to pot with further injuries, but I'm more inclined to go 3-5-2!!!

I'm 2 moves (Martinelli & Solanke - Foden & Darwin) away from this, which I'm pretty happy with:

      Pickford
      Gabriel Bradley Gusto
      Salah Son Saka Foden Palmer
      Haaland Darwin
      (Ortega, Semenyo, Branthwaite, Kerkez)

Been 3-4-3 for a while (since Afcon basically) but planning at the moment on going back to 352 from 30 or 31 with Semenyo as cheap enabler as third striker as think there’s more value and better rotation options in 5 mids

Looking for data on high ranking FPL users transfer/chip history. For example, I want the data of the top 10 finishing teams last season, with every transfer they made for each Gameweek and the Gameweek they used their chips.

Ideally I want as much data as possible. So as a benchmark I'll say the top 10 finishing users in the past five seasons.

I know official FPL doesn't have this data available other than season and rank. Is there any tools/websites that archive the data im looking for?

    Thanks in advance

I don’t think that’s a good idea. -4 for 8 probably good enough if you have the main culprits covered. You’re just looking to minimise damage if you’re not FHing.

Depends on when you are planning on using the WC. I'm planning on doing a -8 to get a full team out which will include triple Spurs attack. They play Luton at home in GW30 too. Then I will probably WC out of the mess I have created for myself in GW31.

A Spurs win at Craven Cottage is most likely according to previous results.

It tends not to be dramatically high scoring either.

        Bowen as well.

Maybe Elanga or a Luton player in the mix.

Click on the date link and look the other way.

Think all the EV and optimal models are based on past results home or away. It's a strong starting point... a predictor of future results.

They are probably taken it from 1992 when modern football was 'invented' but some might well go further back.

Don't like Zouma tbh - and not just for how he treats cats; West Ham defence is garbage. I would definitely go for a mid/fwd instead - maybe Bailey/Elanga, or if you're not going to WC30 then the Luton game in 30 is a nice bonus for Maddison / Wernhole

Gusto, Moreno and KDB are my real differentials today.

Kev's points are worth about 5,000 ranks each. Gusto almost 6k spots and each Moreno point more than that.

That said, despite also playing Foden and Haaland and benching Bradley for the sake of the title challenge and good of the game, I do hope that Liverpool beat Man City today.

    4-3 would be okay.

Not sure but I'll put it this way, if I have been drinking Guinness the day before, certain comparisons can be made!

Reckon I'll go Muniz over Morris and maybe a different defender than Pau, maybe...rest about the same

Prefer Elanga and Bailey to Kudus and Luiz, and contemplating Muniz but largely the same

Some questions that come to mind

      - Werner as a punt over Morris ?
      - Will Pau even start the game, never mind finish it?
      - Why a Spurs defender when they have had just 1 clean sheets in the last 15 games ?- Why not 3 Spurs attackers ?
      - Start Reguilon?

Looking forward to wildcarding in 31!

Before then, I’m going to navigate 29 and 30 without a free hit. I have 10 players but need more mids/forwards. What do you reckon?

    A) Just Solanke to Toney for free
    B) Solanke to Toney + Gordon/Saka/Foden to Maddison/other mid (-4) and bench one of the defenders

Think I might just favour A for now

    1FT 2.5ITB
    Areola
    Reguilon Doughty Kabore Cash Robinson
    Son Bowen
    Watkins Morris

    (Dubravka Saka Foden Gordon Solanke)

    Cheers!
