Clear Pep wants Ake v Saka match up

ManCity's defence have been warming-up with Manuel Akanji at right-back and Nathan Ake at left-back. Josko Gvardiol to the left of Ruben Dias.

Haalandless this week, (and maybe next week, maybe until GW35!)

It is a Watkins to Darwin or Haaland move.

No YC is a good sign though for Darwin.

found it funny mac allister said salah has been telling him to pass the ball to him more to him in his interview after the game, considering salah could've set up darwin/diaz for easier chances many times today.

maybe Salah sees a chance to get golden boot (and didn't think he would have one at the start of the season)? Couple that with Liverpool wanting to boost their GD, genuinely Sheff United at home could be an option for those with TC left

12 - Mo Salah had 12 shots v Brighton, his most ever in a Premier League game, the most on record (from 2003-04) by a Liverpool player in a match in the competition, and the most by any player in the top-flight since Zlatan Ibrahimovic v Burnley in October 2016 (12). Persistent.

    Gabriel Saliba Udogie
    Saka Son Bowen Palmer
    Haaland Solanke Toney

    Areola Maddison Emerson Doughty

    1. JBG

Because he missed 50 chances before that and was on -1 or barely over 0 bps before that.

Mengi is still looking over his shoulder after the FA cup game a few weeks ago.
Even when Haaland doesn’t touch the ball, he occupies defences and creates space. He’s not at his brilliant best right now, but he’s not playing badly by any means.

I don't think there's been any attack whatsoever.
        3 shots all game.

Players making no attempt to construct an attack, or get past a player with skilful dribbling.
Innovation is stifled with tiki-taka and individualism under Pep's and Arteta's school of thought.

If we want to watch a duel with no mistakes, I'd rather watch a chess match, lol.
