That was Nunez or back to Solanke for some or even Mateta.

Solanke Darwin were the more short-sighted picks. Isak was the set and forget pick for the rest of the season for DGW37 in particular.

Funny how it goes that Isak is the one banging in the goals in the short term!

          Really?

Darwin & Solanke were the clear short term picks with 34 in mind.

However if you saved your FH for the doubles then Isak and working towards 37 was the clear play. Where’s the hindsight in that?

            • Fantasy Football Scout Member
            • 14 Years
            2 years, 12 days ago

Isak is a good option but so are the others. It’s not as clear cut as you make out…sounds like you picked him as you had FH left for 34 as opposed to him being superior to solanke Nunez toney. So maybe more luck than others being “short sighted picks”

            1. Zladan
              • 8 Years
              2 years, 12 days ago

I did pick him for GW37 over the other options due to having the FH still.

I’m with you on that, it’s what I’m saying. I’d have gone for the more short -term focused players with more fixtures between now and GW35 if I didn’t have FH34.

They were better options over Isak with 34 in mind, no doubt. It just hasn’t played out that way.. it’s funny the way it goes.
