    There’s the fine lines I was talking about a few weeks ago on here, keeper dives on that penalty and BSilva looks a genius, but when they don’t….

      It was around 82% of 5th place going to a British club prior to the QFs kicking off.
      Hard to predict Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, West Ham all to crash out so unremarkably.

      It will only be interesting if the premier league decide to screw Man City over in one of their matches, so that the TV ratings can be high for the run in

      City won’t drop points otherwise

    As a Palace fan I still feel more delight going and see our club winning those games even though we have only won a ZFS final that was introduced because of Liverpool banning English clubs

    Then despite winning 3rd place and qualifying for European competition we're denied despite being binned for an extra year allowing Ian Wright having a clause in his contract to leave only to a club playing in Europe

    Still this is good news for FPL managers as winning the league is more important of winning the fa cup despite if Palace ever winning it would be the best day in my life

    I guess booing your own team for not making the semi finals makes my best mate atllbeing apologetic being a Chelsea fan having to state he was a born and bred Cheese fan when they were crap. Shame really he has to do that for us older lot holsve to always supported the club through thick and thin have to apologise to the new happy go lucky new supporters that he says made his club a franchise before Roman took over before he was going to buy Spuds as Alan Sugar made his fortune by making the premier League go with Sky over ITV to boost his amstrad sales by knowing who you know and not what what you know.

        “Should have” but didn’t, Arsenal rolled over, United and Newcastle embarrassed themselves, Liverpool even more so.

        Spurs are in a top 4 race and they had Emerson Royal as a CB for a while. Feel like United haven’t won a game for 2 months and we’re still 7th.

        League is a joke.

          U r underestimating top teams from other big nations.
          Only man city has realistic chance of making cl sf. Maybe Liverpool too if they hadn't finished outside top 4 last season.
          Rest of teams aren't world class. Arsenal got a tough draw but they also lack experience playing such games.
          Spurs Manu chelsea etc are mid table inconsistent teams.
          Newcastle played well considering the tough group they were in

            This Liverpool team, who won’t reach the Europa semis, would reach the CL semis? Doubt that somehow.

                  Uh no. They’ve run out of gas because they play in a league that’s faster and more competitive. City are a better team than Real Madrid, pretty clear over both legs. But fine margins; missed two sitters. Arsenal should have won last week and not been in that position tonight. Joke to say just because we finally don’t have a team (or both teams) in the final this year the league is poor.

    Real Madrid with their negative football go thru completely undeservedly. Having said that, kdb missed an absolute sitter which would have put man city thru.
    Just hope bayern can beat real Madrid. They scored 2 very lucky goals in 1st leg and did nothing really to deserve a sf spot. Bellingham was ineffective but they got the luck with them

      Madrid play basic football and rely on extremely fast attackers to beat slower defenders.

      They are not a good footballing side and really didn't deserve to go through.

      Bellingham is great at counter attacking against poor Spanish opposition and mostly played for fouls over both legs.

          Southgate plays him high up the pitch were he struggles.

    No FH so considering the below options for a point hit.

    1) Foden to Havertz/Eze/Olise, 10 DGW
    3) Doughty to Saliba, 9 DGW since will bench Branthwaite
    4) Combination of 1 and 3, 10 DGW since will bench Branthwaite

    Henderson
    Branthwaite Gabriel Mitchell Kerkez
    Diaz (S)alah Saka Foden
    Haaland Darwin

    Dubravka Semenyo Palmer Doughty

      Gotta play Semenyo over a def.
      Foden to Eze/Olise would be a decent move I think

        Thanks B!

        Oh I thought Semenyo's injured! Shall play him over Branwaite then.

        Eze/Olise over Havertz?

          Wait for news on Semenyo, but play if fit for sure.

          I think Palace have the best fixtures in the double, so I would personally want to get one of their attackers.

    I started watching The Traitors UK. It’s great and easy to see why it got so popular, but god damn there is a lot of crying in it compared to the NZ version that I watched first.

    Anyone else not capping Salah this week?
    Really thinking an Eze punt. Chasing a bit

      I'll see how he does tonight, but regardless I don't particularly like his fixtures from an attacking POV, Eze & Havertz I like for this week, though I have neither atm

    Who to sell for DGW34 (I am wildcarding 35), I have included how much I lose if I want them back on WC

    a) Palmer (- 0.5m) + Foden (- 0.3m) -> Eze + Diaz | (Haaland only SGW)

    b) Foden (- 0.3m) + Haaland (- 0.0m) -> Darwin/Mateta + Diaz/Eze | (Palmer only SGW)

    c) Haaland (- 0.0m) - Muniz (- 0.0m) -> 2 of (Darwin, Cunha, Mateta) | (Foden or Palmer only SGW)

    Henderson*
    VVD* - Gabriel* - Mykolenko*
    Salah*- Saka* Ode* Foden - Palmer
    Haaland - Solanke*

    Areola - Kerkez* - Muniz - Van Hecke +2m

      Think I’d be inclined to lose Haaland for GW34. Good FWD options for the double and not losing value getting rid and getting back on WC.

        Could keep both Palmer and Haaland with

        Foden + Muniz -> Eze + Sub 7m FWD (Cunha/Mateta/DCL)
