Asked at his pre-Everton press conference today about any fresh injury problems, Klopp said: “Unfortunately, yes. Diogo scored the goal, felt a little bit and now we found out it’s a little bit more.

“So he will be out for two weeks.

“Besides that, no [other new injury concerns].”

The manager added of Jota: “I cannot really say a lot about it, to be honest. Before which game where he didn’t start, he got a knock – normal challenge, then felt a little bit at the hip. That was then fine because we didn’t start him, brought him on, that was alright.

“Then he started the last game, was obviously OK and then with the finish… it’s a small one but we are late in the season, so obviously now it’s not a great moment for each injury pretty much.

“It’s not a big one. When I say two weeks, actually really it’s pretty much nothing but enough to not be available.”

Interesting theory I found on twitter. For anyone who went for Bereton Diaz.

Anyone on WC thought about Trent as an option? Covers some Liverpool attack and (assuming he starts tonight) it looks like he's going to be able to start regularly enough in the run-in. Easy transfer to someone else if needed. Budget not a concern as doubt I am going for both Salah and Haaland

Yes im getting him on WC, I dont think its easy to predict cs these days, i dont believe Liverpool keep any but Trent will get 3-4 attacking returns till the end of season

I don't mind him on WC35 with a view to downgrade to City def/Trippier in 37 (only booked transfer).

Yeah this is what I like - it gives the option for this, but then also Villa isn't a horrible fixture for him if other factors mean that transfer isn't possible (or means a hit)

I have one midfield position undecided in my draft. The other four are not Salah. The 5th is unlikely to be. One caveat is if he explodes (metaphorically) he could make it. Of course, if he explodes literally, then he definitely isn't in it.

I saw Haaland in the scout predicted line up and so I didn't sell him for Jean-Philippe Mateta. What an awful impact this has had on my gameweek and on my season 😥 This stuff really matters. They really have to do absolutely everything they possibly can to get these big calls correct. Even if it means spending less time researching the line ups from teams that no one owns (i.e. Burnley).

A nicer way of putting this would be that I think you have unreasonable expectations of what things like the predicted line ups can be. They are just guesses and based on similar information to what we all have too. Many of the newspapers have a prediction of starting elevens also which can often be wrong and often differ from one another based on someone else's opinion.

If you are going to base decisions on them fine, but realise they aren't 100% and if they are wrong it's not necessarily someone's fault. At the end of the day it was your decision to use that information instead of maybe some other source.

This is all true...but...it would be nice if the site did some self-evaluation at the end of the season. Something like--how often did we get Team predictions wrong and/or how well did RMT predict points. This would help subscribers know if we are actually getting any value out of these tools.

Terrible idea! It even annoys me when podcasts hurry past fixtures involving 'unfancied' sides. There's more to fantasy than FPL - what about DFS tournaments which breathe new relevance into such fixtures? And especially with the rise of Fantasy Challenge - it's worth paying attention to every match.

I know you're a WUM, and just like to have constant digs at FFS; that's not my issue. But I'm taking this opportunity to make the point about every fixture being important, because you're climbing on the bandwagon of a trend I've noticed and do not like much - it needs to be shouted down wherever it raises its ugly head! 😉

Exact funds to do this (on WC).

    Onana Petrovic
Gabriel Van Hecke Gusto Shar TAA
Son Foden Gordon Bruno F Palmer
    Haaland Isak Jackson

Gabriel I have owned for most of the season and have too much value in to lose (so stays). TAA can easily change to a City def GW37.

4 returns in 11 games since his injury and none in his last 5 - which include some fixtures that he'd have been a differential captain choice for on his early season form. You might be right, but you'd want to see that on the pitch first before going there

I'm going Gabriel, mainly because he's nailed and there are a few coming back that might affect White's minutes (although he is clearly first choice RB) and because I got him at £4.7m so switching onto White (who is now £6m) doesn't feel worth it

Probably best choice for defenders in 36 and 38 even if you bench in 35. 37 probably a CS given United's difficulty with goals

As I have no BB … I’m going with Raya, Gabs and one of white/saliba. Benching during doubles and playing three arsenal defence in 36 and 38. Risky but no one is keeping clean sheets and gunners have a decent chance in those two fixtures. Doubt many will have three so a bit of a differential in a way.

Gabriel for 36 then switching to a doubler

Arsenal easy win 2 0 especially if Palmer is missing

Easy win for arsenal 3-0 with no Palmer, or 3-1 with Palmer

Is Gusto fit, felt something in knee i believe?
      NewC defender Schar or Burn?

How's this for a WC team?

    Petrovic / Vebruggen
    Gabriel / Porro / Dias / Burn / Gusto
    Son / Foden / Fernandes / Gordon / Palmer
    Haaland / Watkins / Isak

      That’s better going forward.
Still weighing up going without Haaland unless fully fit, Isak, Watkins, Solanke all firing?

I'd try to find a way to get Schar over Burn. Maybe downgrade Dias to Gvardiol might be a way in (depending on remaining funds)?.

Is Hojlund (Bur) a better choice than Werner (Ars/Che)?

Probably shift to Pedro as 8th attacker and use him only for BB37

Solves any benching headaches outside of 37 as well

Why not? Lots of Van Hecke, if you can afford dunk he's better set piece threat

Not seen much Hecke either but if your plush then and want a seagull then Dunk better

Lots? I think that's a bit of a stretch, hardly seen him in any drafts.

I'd rather have Tark or Branthwaite tbh.

Don't see a CS for Brighton in either game, so better to risk a SGWer with a high CS probability than punting on a Dunk goal (which is far less likely).

Plan is to do RAN to Trippier, Salah to Bruno later down the line.
What move should I make this week?

    A. Udogie to Dalot
    B. Udogie to VDV
    C. Save FT

    Petrovic
    Gusto Porro* Udogie* (RAN Burn)
    Salah Son Palmer Garnacho Foden
    Haaland Isak (Pedro)

Need an update closer to the deadline on Gusto and Porro. You may have to make a defender transfer if both are not available as well as Udogie

Oh my wise brethren! I seek your collective wisdom! Thinking of going just 1 spurs attacker in gw35. Would you do Johnson over Son as a punt? Or not go for any spurs given the tough fixtures?

Choosing Johnson over Son is akin to getting your johnson out for the lads after 10 pints. Stick with Son....

High, should play RB if Trippier is out and Livramento is fit to start

Well looks like a step up moving from Nunez to Jackson...

    Nunez:
    Big chance total 31
    Missed 25
    Big chance conversion 19.4%

    Jackson:
    Big chance total 25
    Missed 18
    Big chance conversion 28%
