It's a strange position to be in where your record signing doesn't appear to fit into the team.

Solid enough? Covers more or less all of the bases I care for

    Raya
    Gvardiol, Munoz, Konsa
    Son, Saka, Eze, CHO
    Haaland, Isak, Muniz

    4.0, Robinson, Faes, Winks

Yeah no Chelsea either but will have to start without them and see how the first weeks develop. Also from Liverpool I would consider only Salah but he would take too much of a compromise on other part of the team

What do you fellas think of this Salah + Haaland draft?
    Henderson (Turner)
    Robinson, Anderson, Mykolenko, Davis, Barco
    Palmer, Salah, Eze, CHO (Winks)
    Haaland, Isak, Muniz

The defence is weak but they all start and rotate well with each other

Poster above you did going 4.5m and down defenders route.

There are other ways you could approach a no Haaland and Salah draft. a good 15 and rotate them. Or a great starting eleven with attacking defenders etc and a really cheap bench.

Personally I did not like the no Haaland/Salah as I could get a team I liked with both, or a squad I liked with just Haaland.

    3. LangerznMash
      • 9 Years

Super weird no Salah/Haaland 5-4-1 gives you 9 or 10 premiums...

      Raya
      TAA, Gvardiol, VVD, Saliba, Porro,
      Son, Saka, KdB, Bruno, Gordon
      Isak
      (4.0, 4.5, 4.5, 4.5)

Captaincy choice would be a minefield though.

Even if he only overperformed by half that this season, 190 points would still be possible thanks to change in bonus points system favouring winger/forwards who dribble lots and have shots on target.

              • 11 Years

Arsenal score lots, so he'd still have to actually score or assist though to get bonus though. He shouldn't be starting over Trossard either, let's be honest.

In all honesty... Martinelli > Trossard
Double figures club for goals and assists this season. 30+ bonus points.

I agree. However, the problem with this team structure is jumping on bandwagons if Nkunku is worth keeping. Selling or switching Son after gw2 is the route, so carefully thought(?) though.

    Strong enough without Haaland?

    Raya
    Porro - Livramento - Hall
    Salah - Son - Ødegaard - Jota - Elliott
    Isak (C) - Havertz
    (Paulsen - Gvardiol - Greaves - Cannon)

The 6.5 mid bracket is definitely the most challenging. Haaland teams would most like have 1-2. Salah teams maybe 1?

    Currenly debating these options:

    A) Havertz, Son and Gordon

Same here mate!!! It’s with a Salah and Haaland draft, which is hard to get an Arsenal asset in, so quite keen to get one in, Havertz is the easiest(and could be the best) to accommodate

Done unless I can be convinced otherwise

    Pickford
    Konsa, Andersen, Mykolenko
    Palmer, Odegaard, B Fernandes, Szoboszlai
    Haaland, Isak, Solange

    Fabianski, Winks, Harwood-Bellis, Barco

Conscious Isak could be carry a slight knock
