Think I'm gonna shift Quansah to Konsa if there's a threat he's gonna drop before the deadline. Had planned to get Konsa for GW3 anyway. May asell do it before losing the value for no reason..

Yeah I ended up getting Pau for Quansah as my one transfer this GW. I'm trying out a "stay away from overly owned defenders" policy.

I'll be careful there because Maatsen could just be getting eased in

Seems considerably better than Digne on last season's evidence, hence the Villa purchase

Feels like this is a WC waiting to happen with mounting problems in defence. A -4 would fix it I guess, but I'm wondering as well if my front 8 is wasting £1m but having both ESR and Minteh

    Flekken Vald
    Gabriel Robinson Porro* Quansah* Barco*
    Jota Saka Eze ESR Minteh*
    Haaland Isak Solanke.

Hitting it now feels too early, but could sort out the defence and perhaps improve the starting midfield too

    1. AnarChYs7
      • 12 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

I advice restraint overall. Hold Porro even if he's out for a week. Transfer out your pick of the other two defenders timing it against the price drop.

      1. LangerznMash
        • 9 Years

if Porro is out for a week then he misses the nice home match against Everton then returns for the two horrible fixtures away to Newcastle then Arsenal. Might as well bin him off.

Leave it until you get more injury news.

I would guess that Porro and Minteh should be fit. If so you could save your transfer, changing Quansah /Barco to Harwood-Bellis and Greaves g3 for free.

      I don't think it is worth a -4

    Sels
    Munoz, Robinson, Rico Lewis

Konza - fixtures (after this Gw)

Good chance that Mazraoui's price rises tonight, outside chance it could rise again to £4.7 before Saturday. If on a WC might be worth buying him now then selling him Saturday morning before deadline for chance of £0.1m profit.

    1. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years

FPL stats might have a bug there though

He joined the game late, so his price might still be locked, or much further away from a rise. Check other price predictors to confirm

That said, it wouldn't hurt to have him on the WC just in case FPL Stats is right

Gvaardiol sat back in the back three (as stated in article above) while Lewis inverted into the midfield,
When Walker comes back for Lewis - Gvardiol should take up the more attacking role again.

The important thing was to sell Quansah before losing value and being left with Mykolenko or Barco as alternatives.

The real doubt was whether to go for Rico Lewis or (next 5-6 game weeks in mind) buy a 4.5 defender of Chelsea.

Hey folks, I don't have a 4.0m defender but do own Quansah who is basically my 5th defender. My other four look secure with minutes. Really don't want to keep him if he likely drops to 4.4. Should I do Quansah to

    A - Greaves (and bank 0.5)
    B - Mosquera (and bank 0.5)
    C - Mazroui

    Henderson
    Gabriel - Quansah - Robinson
    Saka - Jota - Gordon - Eze
    Haaland - Isak - Solanke

    Valdimarsson - Konsa - Mykolenko - Winks

    1. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

I'd get Mosquera (should be in a better team than Ipswich) and be open to upgrading one of the 4.5s later with the funds

Greaves has easier fixtures, tbf. Your choice which matters more

I'm waiting to see if/where Shaw plays in GW4+ before committing to Maz long-term, as I wouldn't want to play him in the next two GWs anyway

      1. Jet5605
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 3 months ago

Thanks. Given that my other four defenders look fairly secure with their minutes I'm tempted to go for Mosquera who could be an option in GW3 and then has a great run of games from GW9.

Agree with your Maz concerns. Difficult to see Shaw and Dalot not playing assuming Shaw is fit. Maz cost around £15m which is what I would expect United to spend on a deputy left back.

I currently have three issues in my team. Barco, Quansah & Nkunku.

It feels like Quansah is def the priority here though as I reckon it's also certain he drops 0.1m by Saturday. I don't need him GW2 anyway but I would rather replace before I lose the value. My other defenders are Hall, TAA and Robinson. The question is do I go:

    A) Konsa
    B) R. Lewis

A seems the sensible pick as he is nailed and Villa have good fixtures from 3 onwards. However part of me wants to go with R.Lewis who seems a bit more exciting and I would throw him in ahead of Hall for this weekend. This does seem like it's replacing one 4.5m headache with another down the line. How long do we think R.Lewis holds onto his place?

    1. afsr
      • 9 Years

Have the same dilemma with Quansah. I'm considering either Robinson/R. Lewis or just downgrade to Mosquera and use the funds for attack (i left 0.5 in the bank when planning for GW1)

  22. have you seen cyan
    • 6 Years

Think I have a plan to get TAA and ditch Quansah. If Nkunku hasn't done anything after 3 GWs, downgrade him to a 4.5 and upgrade Quansah to TAA. Annoyingly 0.5 short, so will need to ditch Leif same time.

Chelsea's A list for the Conference League match against Servette:

        - Sanchez, Jorgensen, Bettinelli;

Konsa is the only one I'm sure is nailed... The kind of problem that led here in the first place. If you can take whatever happens in the Arsenal game on the chin (nice record last season), then he's the safest

Hall is pretty attacking and has set pieces, but I'd need Newcastle to at least accept a bid for Trippier before going there with an emergency FT

Mazraoui... Two tough fixtures before we find out Shaw's impact

Oh yes, Pau is nailed. And I think has more attacking threat too

I limited myself to the given list, is all 😀

                Why is Pau more attacking?

Kulu could start the next one over Johnson or even score from the bench , so it is really high risk imo

Not a bad idea. Lots of options. Maddison vs Everton? Rogers to Eze or Mbuemo?
