In the next 7 days, yes. I reckon you might squeak past deadline if that's more to your liking and you don't mind early transfer afterwards.

    RMT

    Sanchez, Vladimarson

    Trent, Gvardiol, Porro, Robinson, Greaves

    Palmer, Jota, Gordon, Mitoma, Rogers

Haaland, Harvertz, Cannon (as Jebbison likely loan to Watford)

    Cant have them all. TQ

Assuming this is a WC? Sanchez is a rotation risk. Not worth giving yourself the future headache.

Porro potentially injured, will be worth waiting on Postecoglou’s comments.

Tq... Any suggestion for 4.5 GK?

Robinson can cover Porro if he didnt play especially for gw 3, 4, 12 and 17.

Probably but he had a 1G 4A game against Bmouth last season. Early punt that pays off can shoot you up the ranks. I'd be doing FT 4th MID Murphy to him so feels relatively low risk

No can do unfortunately. I've got big H and don't want to move Saka. Only way I could get to Phil.

Depending on how things go, my goal in a couple of weeks may be Foden as City attacking cover over H.

Chelsea defence hasn’t passed the eye test since Maresca came in. Albeit an unreliable pool of preseason games.

Historically terrible under poch until the second half of the season.

Thiago Silva was the only thing holding it together.

Chelsea fixtures may look appealing but I think a pick of any Chelsea defender is misguided and believe they have the potential to concede to anyone. Especially given the time it may take to adjust to a drastically new system under Maresca.

Chelsea defenders offer very little in attacking returns also. 4.5m def options are plentiful, many with good potential for attacking returns.

Might need to move Wood out of my team soon with Nketiah signing. My shortlist:

    Muniz
    Nketiah
    Evanilson
    Wissa
    Calvert-Lewin
    João Pedro

    Probably go for Muniz, right?

Wish I started with Havertz but it's too difficult for me to get him with his price rise.

Out of those choices Muniz has the big advantage is he is the only one truly nailed on other than the outpatient known as Mr Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Nketiah if he gets the Forest gig would be a great budget option though.

Would you switch Pickford > Sanchez so I can free up 0.5m so I can then use that next game week to upgrade Turner to a playing 4.5 GK too?

I'm not yet sure Sanchez is nailed. And I prefer starting one GK even in tough fixtures, due to the save points. Hold fire and see how many saves Pickford gets vs Spurs, then reassess your squad with more GWs of data and two or more FTs

I think ditching Pickford is a defo yes as it looks and feels like Everton are in for a torrid season.

Early fixtures could be key and at least Maresca has a few shiny bullets to chose from if he can put them in the right guns.

I can see the relevance, their team did well in the first week of the season and they were expecting price rises off the back of it. Prices rises tend to follow points a lot in FPL, historically. They maybe could have phrased it better like, "I had a good first GW....."

I am thinking sell. We are going to have to at some point and if you have 127pts you are unlikely to WC soon.

Trust it wouldn’t be a bad idea if you sell Quansah for a hit. Take hits every gameweek imo, that’s what you should be doing.

127 points in GW1, but I have Quansah, Barco (and Porro who might be injured).
27 points ahead of ML but rival has Haaland and I have Salah.
Won’t have internet until the deadline. So need help with this A or B question… any thoughts??
I won’t help anybody else with their teams, will just keep reposting my question until I get an answer I want to hear. Cheers

That's an extremly tough question Ginkapo.
Quansah was always suspect for minutes when you set up your team, so it was a bit silly to include him. On the other hand, you may have included him to rotate, so you won't have an issue if that is the case.
I haven't noticed too much talk about Quansah around here the past few games so he must be a low owned player, although others who find themselves with the same dilema may be too embarrased to admit they screwed up.
That said, I think with a better than average score you can afford to to wait a week and see how things play out in GW2. If Quansah doesn't play then you have a major problem and may need to consider a WC and learn from your mistake of picking players who aren't nailed.
      Hope this helps 🙂

Maresco complaining that the financial rules forces the sale of academy players. No they dont. The rules decentivise the sail of players on long contracts, which is an issue for only one club. Long contracts decentivise players from working hard as well.

Sort yourselves out Chelsea, just digging deeper and deeper into a mess

He probably doesn’t have the financial sense. More of a coach than a manager imo if he truly said what you shared.

A team with 40 senior players blaming financial rules saying they have to sell academy players.

Alright I still haven't done Gordon > Eze and I'm starting to see some of the merits of rolling and will look at a 3 GW horizon to see what I could give up in opportunity cost.

The next three games are bou TOT wol for Gordon vs WHU che LEI for Eze. Regardless of whether I make the move or not, the plan is to roll FT in GW3 and probably 4 as well to prepare for a Salah move in GW5.

GW5 seems a good time to bring Salah in as he's the best captain that week while City play Arsenal.

A move like Gordon + Saka + Isak > Solanke + Minteh + Salah is possible in GW5 and even leaves 0.5m ITB and an extra transfer.

Ofc I can sell Jota instead who is the same price as Gordon to fund it but it's possible that Jota is just a longer term keep if he starts upfront for Pool every week. I don't think I'm gonna want to touch my Arsenal before GW5 if I don't have to and would love to try and keep Haaland in my team longer term rather than sacrifice him for Salah.

I'm not sure I see how an extra transfer benefits me particularly for a GW5 mini WC but it's possible I'm overlooking some key makeweight.

The fact that both Jota and Gordon are 7.5m in my team makes swapping one for Eze seem like a 'luxury' move that I can afford for the short term to get WHU, che, LEI fixtures. Perhaps I might not do it if I had more pressing fires or potential fires (Nkunku *cough*) that might necessitate more multiswitch transfer plans.

A fun exercise though. There's definitely merit of holding on just in case, but if everything goes to plan, I can still go with:

    Gordon > Eze
    Roll x2
Jota, Saka, Isak > Salah, 5.5m, Solanke in GW5

Or else sell Eze in GW5 to keep Jota if he still looks nailed and performing well.

Gordon could get 200+ pts this season. He's a proper baller who's still improving imo, and plays for a better team. I'm looking to get him in, could end up a bargain at 7.5m

I would definitely hold on the Eze move. I’m not sold on him yet and Gordon just as likely to put points on the board this week I would say. Players from the likes of Villa and Chelsea could take off in the next few gw too so having the transfers in the bank is the way to go this season.

Last year Gordon's away form was dreadful. Doesn't mean it's the same this year, and doesn't mean that I'd recommend getting Eze, but I think it's entirely possible that Gordon will get 3 points this week and that you shouldn't really draw any conclusions from that.

You had a good score GW1, roll that transfer.

Newcastle had 10 men most of the game remember, things could have went differently for Gordon

Gutted that this team didn't score more than 73. With Eze wrongly disallowed goal, Bruno's reportedly couple of massive chances and Haaland should have scored more than one, I could have been looking at the century, but oh well..
That being said, roll ft here?

    Raya
    Gvardiol, Robinson, Porro*
    Saka, Jota, Eze, Bruno, ESR
    Haaland, Isak

    Valdimarson, Johnson, Barco, Jebbison

Obviously info on Porro's injury is the big one here. If he is out for this week, probably looking at Barco>Harwood. Porro is a keep

yeah you perhaps were unlucky. I got 86 on BB but feel like that would of been 91 had De Ligt started or I'd gotten Dalot instead. 18 points BB suddenly looking better with 23.

Your team is good, just keep banking those transfers
