    "No brainer" and "essential"

Still nowhere near as annoying as 'real' football speak.....

The press, the low block, the group, 100%, transition, bring it to the table.

I think the "FPL community" should be charged for crimes against the English language.
In all seriousness, those buzzwords wind me up. Surely people with native level English proficiency have a larger depth of vocabulary?

And I am not just talking about analytical buzzwords. Worse still, some of those in FPL are actually journalist's by profession. Yet they go down the dumbing down/buzzword route.

If the language around FPL itself becomes so homogenous, it does not give me much hope for variety of teams and so on.

I think if you want Saka, I'd consider Isak down to a 6m striker (Wood or Muniz), Enzo to playing 4.5 and then upgrade Lewis to Diaz/Akanji and either 5.5 to Eze.

Not a huge fan of it personally.

Done well to cram Salah, Saka and Haaland in, but think it's at the expense of the overall team and chance of decent points from multiple players across all areas.

          You ok pal?

If you don't want other people's thoughts, then why ask?

No, I don't think they are flops. I've got Minteh, ESR and Isak in my team as well. Just highlighting that personally I think spending so much on Haaland, Salah and Saka means the rest of your squad is a weaker.

You might be happy with that and think it will pay off - if so, great and you go for it.

But getting upset that someone replies with a response other than simply saying how amazing your team is, is a bit strange

Yes I agree. Also trying to think 3-4 weeks ahead so could pay off.

But, also agree, saving FT and giving MGW one more week is probably worth it. Especially if I decide I need Salah.

Not sure that'll be the case. Assuming Ipswich setup with low block 5ATB, City tend to have good 1v1 wingers to hold the width and beat the WB. They don't need Bernardo RW in that setup imo

        1. Ze_Austin
          • 7 Years

Yes, but who'll Pep start on the right wing without Savinho?

It's Bilva vs Foden, afaik... I'm just hoping Foden gets AM instead of holding the width at RW

Might end up being Foden though

Nothing desperately needs doing, one decision over who to bench from the front 8 and a possible punt in defence to bring in Lewis for Kilman, but as it stands here we go for GW2 :

    Henderson
    Saliba Guehi Burn
Salah (c) Saka Jota Diaz Gordon
    Isak Havertz

Enzo Maresca confirms his current plan is to use Robert Sanchez as Chelsea’s No.1 and play Filip Jorgensen in the #UECL and domestic cup competitions.

“This is the plan in this moment, but the plan can change. I've said many times, I judge the players on the level [they are playing at]. So if the level continues to be the same then probably Robert will be Premier League and Filip in the Conference League or the cups that we have. But in the end, it is just about performance.”

Postecoglou on Dominic Solanke: "Dom picked up a knock in the last game. He got through the game but it flared up the day after and he'll miss the game tomorrow.
"It's an ankle injury, he copped it really early on, someone went across his ankle. "It just depends on his recovery [when he returns], obviously we've got the international break. but it's not serious."

Postecoglou says Richarlison is fit to start if required, Pedro Porro is fine and Rodrigo Bentancur will miss out through concussion protocol but would have anyway after such a head injury. "He bounced back well but we'll take our time with Rodrigo."
