all the premiums (10m and above) have delivered

this make Haaland looks expensive, esp if you did not TC him in GW2

Haaland might be the only nailed City attacker, where there is no cheap alternative/value pick available in top teams.
(Foden could be one.. once he's ready to go)..

Some day 10m wont deliver, salah will stay quiet, haaland will have brace. Then everyone will again bring him back, which is tough

True, maybe next week Haaland scores 3 and Mateta, Cunha, Isak, Solanke and Watkins all at least score a brace and they're all the craze for the week

With the amount of value options like Pedro, ESR, Rogers you can have a good team with Haaland alongside 2 other 10M premium mids

That team does look very nice. I would still advise anyone to hold off on using a WC unless your team is in dire condition, as it is a very valuable chip.

But at the end of the day, play the game you want to play 🙂

Is Madueke a good value pick as Chelsea attacker over Palmer?

I didn't watch the match, but some reports pointed out he had enough space for all the goals, where RAN was mostly out of position on all occasions.

    1. tbos83
      • 5 Years
      1 year, 6 months ago

Short term yes, long term he's likely to be rotated

    2. LAMELA_AND_CONSUELA
      • 8 Years
      1 year, 6 months ago

It is probably one-off for Madueke. I think that if you do not have funds for Palmer Jackson would be better choice. However, the transfer window is still open and you do not know if Chelsea will not acquire another striker. Therefore, it seems that at this moment the safest pick is Palmer. But having him probably requires losing Salah or Haaland.

    3. Thomas Magnum
      • 10 Years
      1 year, 6 months ago

Scored the same goal 3 times because RAN was nowhere for 2 and didn't defend well enough at all for the first. I am treating Madueke's hattrick the same as Doku's last season until he can back it up. Munoz will be attacking next week which will leave space, but Palace should be able to cover him a little better (I think)

That is a sideways move to replace Saka with Palmer in GW3

Eze is in the Bruno/Isak category. Great on their day but largely frustrating. Too many nearly points for me.

      Yes not worth it IMO

Eze has Chelsea & Leicester next. Both have weak defences and Eze is creating chances and is always involved

      • 11 Years

Only 2 games of data against relatively weaker opposition, but Slot's style of play seems to involve more control and a lot less risk than Klopp's. The defence has benefitted from this change, and they are no longer conceding early goals like last season.

The double up with their fixtures could pay off, but I would still say to prioritise Arsenal double def because Liverpool as of this moment.

Think Rogers will make a mockery of his price tag with the fixtures to come.

It's time for action. Jota & Isak out, Palmer & Pedro in. Jota's minutes are seriously annoying and Isak's now had two bites of the cherry. Speculate to accumulate as they say.

Kinda knee jerkumy, but can still work. This is the beauty of fpl pricing this year.

In the same dilemma and annoyed by Jota's minutes. I also have gordon, so is it better to remove jota to get palmer or gordon to get palmer? Have the funds to do that.

Haaland hits a hat-trick and only outscores Mo by 7 points. Can’t see myself having him for a lot of the season.

      14* points difference.

      Who has Haaland, captained Haaland.
      Who has Salah, captained Salah
