On the assumption that Solanke isn't out too long term I would go with Eze to Rogers. But that is just because I don't see the appeal of Pedro or anyone else in that price bracket

Most of them are able to coherently and logically explain decisions.

For me, the problem with content creators - like all humans - they’re often incapable of following their own advice!

      1. Hairy Potter
        • 10 Years
        1 year, 7 months ago

A well meaning seemingly good piece of advice doesn't guarantee a good outcome, given all the unknown variables. All you can do is listen to reasoning and decide whether you agree or not, then see what actually happens. In FPL plenty of "bad" decisions have good outcomes, and plenty of "good" decisions have bad outcomes.

Agreed. Judge the decision making process, not the outcome

what do you consider as poor advise?

Henderson? Quansah? Mykolenko? Hall? Andersen? Barco? Bruno? Eze? Nkunku? Isak? Solanke?

IMO none of the above can be avoided

I would still pick any of the above even without content creator

To list a few, it's the team he has initially selected, the tranfers he suggests, input on the Wire compared to LR and Praz...it is all a matter of opinion of course.

The point is what are we all doing when we leave comments on this website; talking FPL and giving our opinions on A) or B).
The only difference is that we all are anonymous and the YouTubers are named.

The difference is that most of the CC's are making a tidy earning from our beloved FPL ... we are not.
Just thought it would be interesting to know which are generally providing good points/worth listening to....rather like selecting a good school / dentist / doctor etc.

I got to disagree I don't think that's the difference. If we paid them for a service and they offered some sort of guaranteed return, then yes, sure.

Good for them making their money I say. I'd do it if I could but I have a face for radio 🙂

The only one I like now is FML FPL. They are pretty funny and don't take themselves seriously.

James at Planet FPL knows more about football than the rest of them combined, but he's average at FPL

there's so much from Pool defender offerings and premium mids

    1. Athletic Nasherbo
      • 9 Years

I don’t think we compromise on Haaland, just yet.

If you are on a WC, I think Madueke and ESR are good value picks to allow a midfield 5 with Son and Palmer. I’m still convinced a United midfielder will come good very soon - Rashford, Garnacho. But Mbeumo is good for GW3, and then GW 6 onwards.

Upfront Haaland and J.Pedro. Leave money in the bank to move to Wissa GW6.

I will stick with Haaland, drop Salah for Jota, drop Isak to 5.5-6m
use the $ and get Saka & Palmer

      4.5m 4m
      7m 4.5m x 4
      10m 10m 5-5.5m x 3
      15m 5.5-6m x 2

      • 5 Years

I'd say if youre wondering if no Haalaland is the play by GW2, you should do it. There's loads of 10s in midfield who will score big every other week that you won't be able to get to, who will make you question this throughout the season otherwise.

Would you wildcard this team? I want Salah for the fixtures, but how do I even begin to squeeze him in

    Henderson
    Taa, porro, Davis
    Saka, madueke, esr, Jota
    Haaland, isak, wood

    Bench, slicker, Rogers, Andersen, greaves

On WC, and there are just so many options appearing. It's great

    Lewis/jotta -> Robertson/madueke.

Essentially moving from double Liv attack to double Liv defence, but madueke reasonably nailed?

Just noticed Watkins was shipped out early in both games. Is Isak>Havertz better option?

I'm jealous of your team, you must be smashing it if Isak to Havertz/Watkins is your ft. Watkins just getting up to speed and great fixtures, him for me.

I mean its a good team:

        Raya
        Gvardiol, Porro, Robinson
        Saka, Jota, Eze, Bruno, ESR
        Haaland, Isak

        Valdimarson, Johnson, Barco, Jebbison

Have 2 ft.Bruno is surely going out this week (for Madueke) and most probably Isak for Watkins or Havertz

I am considering Isak,Jota to Palmer, Pedro but it could easily backfire... and it means I have to start either Pedro or J.Murphy next week which does not seems optimal.

I did not watch the Newcastle game, therefore there are few questions marks in my head:

    1) Does Isak look lively in the game?
    2) Do we reckon Murphy could at least earn one more start vs TOT?

Isak definitely isn't the problem in the Newcastle team it's some of those around him. The problem is their fixtures aren't stellar, and whether you think the team will improve(Guimares and Joelinton namely)
Personally I think it's likely that Murphy won't start the next one, Barnes will.

Newcastle passing was poor, especially out from the back. Howe pretty much played a 4-4-2 until the subs, so Murphy was playing deeper than expected. Isak looked good when he got the ball, but didn't get it enough.

I'd expect Barnes to get a start, which would likely see Gordon move t

to the right. Depending on whether he stays, I wouldn't be surprised if Trippier got a start to help with the passing out of defence.

Isak sale is understandable as a downgrade fees up funds but jota point ceiling is high and he is returning so fairly safe for starts.

Don’t drop Jota… you have Liverpool’s starting striker for just 7.5 who also happens to be listed as a midfielder.
