Anyone thinking of going without haaland soon enough or in their wildcard draft?

      Nope

    2. Ser Davos
      2 years, 1 month ago

see my thread on the last page

I'm wondering if going all in or all out Haaland is the wrong play

dipping in and out every set of games could be the play and even worth a -4 when it takes place

    3. mrelpea
      2 years, 1 month ago

I have. Allows me to have Watkins, Salah, Palmer,TAA, Porro, Jackson etc I tried both a no Salah and Haaland team and preferred what I could get with the no Haaland option. May revisit in a few weeks when City’s fixtures turn, but happy with current set up

      1. Blueberg
        2 years, 1 month ago

Same. I have had him for the ipswich hat trick, now thinking to take those points, wildcard out and hope to get lucky on the alternative captain choices, of which I will have plenty. Been playing this game for years though and maybe this is the season I've realised it's just a game and I don't really care... just want to have fun with it and not be boring with things.

        1. jack88

Agree. Palmer+ ESR can bring more than 15 m haaland.

I quite like my WC draft but the Mewis pick is something not quite sitting right with me. Is it just an unnecessary pick with Walker lurking?

Now that Ramsdale has become an option I could actually squeeze in Welbeck instead of J Pedro. Is that worth it? What was Hurzeler's tinker/rotation record at St Pauli?

    Bottomed

These are the major differences in the 2 WC junctures. I was strongly in the WC 6 camp but I’m swerving now. What set of fixtures look better? 🙂

    GW 3 WC -

    Watkins (lei,EVE,WOL,ips) + Havertz (BRI,tot) + Salah (mun) + Mbuemo (SOT,tot) + Raya (BRI,tot,mci)+ Pinnock (SOT) Lewis (BRE) + TAA (wol) + 8 points

    GW 6 WC -

    Haaland (whu,BRE,ARS,new) + Isak (TOT) + Muniz (ips,WHM,NEW) + Saka (BRI) + Sels (WOL,liv,BRI) + Nedeljkovic (lei,WOL) + Konsa (ips)

I’ve looked at it myself and prefer GW4 for the WC window to GW3 (which I prefer over GW6)

    Best Nkunku replacement?

    A - Madueke
    B - Luis Diaz
    C - Mitoma
    D - Gordon
    E - Maddison
    F - Mbuemo
    G - Savio/Bernardo Silva
    H - Bowen
    I - Garnacho
    J - Eze
    K - Bailey

What to do with Solanke and Nkunku? It seems unlikely for Solanke to play this week. Joao Pedro looks decent, but not keen on bringing him in before they play Arsenal. I used up a transfer last week to get rid of Quansah. I could take a hit to deal with both of them. I'm almost tempted to WC, but that probably isn't worth it.

    Hendo 🙁
    Gvardiol Porro Konsa (Colwill Barco)
    Saka Jota Gordon Nkunku (Winks)
    Haaland Isak Solanke

    A) Solanke/Nkunku -> Havertz/ESR for a hit
    B) Solanke -> Pedro
    C) Nkunku -> ESR
    D) Other

Thanks! I think I will need to move one of them, otherwise I'll end up playing Winks unless Nkunku comes in for a few minutes. Seems like C is the best option here.

    WC draft. Thoughts?

    Raya
    Trent - Davis - Nedeljkovic*
    Salah - Saka - Palmer - Jota - Rogers
    Watkins - Havertz
(Lis - Greaves - van den Berg - Jebbison)

    *If Villa don't sign RB.
From GW5, I will assess & downgrade Jota, to upgrade to a 4.5m defender

So if Osimhen is going to Al Ahli, they won’t go for Toney as well

Toney to Chelsea? Could be a very interesting pick if it happens

    1. Hazz
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      2 years, 1 month ago

Not sure Toney would be nailed at Chelsea. He's not in his youth and we don't want to stunt the progress of Jackson too much. He also shouldn't take penalties from Palmer, given how good Palmer was last year. Although I do think he'd argue for it.

      1. ebb2sparky
        2 years, 1 month ago

Arguing to take penalties would make him a perfect fit for Chelsea.

    2. GreennRed
      2 years, 1 month ago

He was poor when he returned after a 7 months break last season after a few decent games. Really needs a bounce in form. His wages are a stumbling block too.

    3. Herger
      2 years, 1 month ago

Wants £250k per week apparently so can only be Chelsea or Man Utd if he’s not going to Saudi

  29. Manani
    2 years, 1 month ago

    save FT?

    Henderson
    Robinson Porro Colwill
    ESR Jota Salah Gordon
    Haaland Isak Solanke
    (4.0 Johnson Sangare Hall)

can do Solanke out, but the options (brighton forward) dont appeal to me this week, may as well wait
