    Ornstein bomba.

Rodri suffered a serious knee injury against Arsenal and there are fears he could miss the rest of the season.

Trent is 50-50 between signing new deal and becoming our next captain. Or leaving for Real. Shouldn't have got into situation where he has 1 yr left on deal.

Rodri could go anywhere if those charges come down on City

Team very similar to mine below:

      Raya
      Gabriel, Konate, Konsa
      Saka, Diaz, Mbeumo, Semenyo
      Haaland, Watkins, Wood

      Fabianski, Rogers Aina, Greaves

You would have to downgrade Taa and Solanke> Watkins

I also want Taa but Watkins vs Ipswich looks like big points.

I know taking a -4 on a GK is rarely worthwhile but might it be worth doing Henderson > Raya given both's upcoming fixtures? The -4 could be paid back after ARS v LEI and it helps me keep my WC until later on.

    Henderson
    Gabriel - Konsa - Robinson
    Eze - Diaz - Palmer - Mbuemo
    Haaland - Mateta - Wood

    Valdi - Winks - Myko - Mosquero

I disagree - they have a great XI, but just look at the benches from yesterday. They're an injury away from relying on Jorginho, Sterling or Jesus every game. City just lost De Bruyne and Rodri and it barely damaged them.

Also, you can't just say "Haaland aside" when he's worth about 30 league goals hahaha

What to change on this WC team?

    Raya Fabianski

    Gabriel Mazraoui VDB. Greaves Faes

    Saka Palmer Mbeumo Díaz Rogers

    Haaland Jackson Stewart

(Yes it’s very light on defence. But I’d still have 2 arsenal and 1 Man U weekly. I’d then choose the best of the cheaper defenders based on fixtures each week as my 4th defensive player)

City are funny moaning about the "dark arts" when they've deployed the "stop the counter with a foul" tactic for years never mind players like Silva rolling about the place after being brushed by a leg hair in the box.

Then you have Arsenal who winged and moaned about Newcastle time-wasting at the Emirates the year before last behaving in the exact same way yesterday.

    Classic stuff.

    1. Bushwhacker
      • 6 Years

Not even close. There's actually an article on the BBC website today that shows just how bad Arsenal are about this against EVERYONE ; its not just City. Yesterday was a complete joke though.

Also when you watch Arsenal live, Arteta is often almost on the pitch. At one stage last season against Liverpool he almost tackled Joe Gomez.

        He's nuts.

The active reason I dislike Arsenal. Edu has done an amazing job of spending $1bn to get them a great squad, and at times they look fantastic . . but their attitude with this stuff just drives me insane.

    2. Alan The Llama
      • 16 Years

Agree with you about Man City. I don't think Arsenal's time-wasting was that bad yesterday. Raya wasn't behaving like Pickford. And the players who went down, from what I saw, had all either been clattered or were about to be subbed. Don't have an issue with that.

      1. x.jim.x
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 5 months ago

The time-wasting in the second half was ridiculous, come on. Obviously it's to be expected considering the situation, but you've got Raya just having a sit down so Arteta can have some Yankee sport team huddle, for example.

          • 6 Years

Sending the sub warming up round the back of the net to tell Raya to fake an injury so Arteta could talk to the team HAS to be a new one.

Early days. Don't forget at least 50% of the players in the game will stop paying attention by week 10-12 . . .another load will drop after that. At the end of the season the number of players actively "working" week in and week out is pretty small.

Going from couple of thousand in the beginning to 10m+ will see that.

Am talking about last 6 years where for the first half I was doing well. 21/22 I even managed to get in top 10k for one week, my true high point. Been all downhill since!

Any chance for a 3.9m GK or Def?

That will be a cherry on the top for GW6 WCers
