    Morning All,

    Thoughts about this WC team?

    Raya Vladimarsson

      Kerkez to Aina/Colwill/Konsa/Collins

Is the below worth a -4?

    Porro + Gordon + Pedro -> Gabriel + Rodgers + Wood

Not a terribly exciting -4 but it should pay back the hit straight away

    Gvardiol and Winks
    Or
    Lewis and ESR/Rogers/Mcneil

What to change on this WC team?

    Raya Fabianski

Gabriel Mazraoui Van den Berg. Greaves Faes

    Saka Palmer Mbeumo Díaz Rogers

    Haaland Jackson Stewart

(Yes it’s very light on defence. I’d rotate, choosing the best of the cheaper defenders based on fixtures, and consistently using one arsenal one Man U)

    Thanks!!

Attack looks lovely, but as you say light on reserves, obvious place to get cash from is Palmer or Jackson

        Thanks mate.

Yep, I could easily drop one, but I’m not that convinced that a defender is going to consistently make up the difference.

I’m probably going to say fk it, and enjoy the attacking returns. Treat clean sheets as a bonus!

If you had 1m more in defense I like it. But VdB, Greaves, Faes is dreadful.

Jackson > Wood to make the 1m?

Probably a mistake but took an early -12 as if I waited for next 2 gameweeks I would have been priced out of this team.

Users on this site when picking a striker:

Jackson 7.7m, 4 goals, 2 assists - nailed on striker. No thanks!

Havertz 8.1, 2 goals, 1 assist - playing as a cm. Get in my team!

Tbf to the people who are getting Havertz, he broke a long time record last match. So I understand them why they want such a record breaking player.

That's the dumbest comparison I've ever seen.
Jackson has played 4 successive games against teams in the bottom third of the table, has only played 90 mins once.
Havertz has played 4 successive games against top 10 teams, has played the full 90 every game, and his team has been reduced to 10 men twice necessitating a tactical change by the manager.
      I actually own both.

I think it's starting to look like the time is ripe for Solanke. Just coming back to full fitness and Son is laying the chances on a plate for him. Fixtures still pretty decent too, especially that

Watkins is tempting as AV is scoring a lot but with a high price tag, Wood vs DCL can be a coin toss, not like Forrest are scoring a lot, Wood and DCL probably on pair in terms of shoots

Besides the usual 4.0 picks, Anderson could be a steady back up option and Ait Nouri could be a steal in a few gws

I was looking at Ait Nouri. Got some good stats.

On WC, I'm tempted by a strong 3 or 4 at the back (TAA, Gabriel locked in, then either Saliba or Gvardiol) plus one or 2 sub 4.5m.

If Branthwaite & Patterson are back I actually don't mind it at all. Keane is a liability but I can see them tightening up again with a full strength back 4. I'm considering Pickford also

Last spot on WC and need a 4.4 DEF myself. Have Alex Moreno but he's clearly not nailed so getting rid.

      A) Andersen
      B) Aït-Nouri
      C) Mykolenko
      D) Faes

Wish Wolves' fixtures weren't so trash until GW9...

On my WC like many, and wondering if it's silly to go without Salah.

I know he free's up the cash to make the rest of the team stronger but it's still Salah at the end of the day. He could easily go on a Haaland -esque run at any moment

I know double defence probably makes more sense long-term, and recency bias doesn't exactly lend itself to double attack - but are Spurs (A), Atalanta (A) & City really useful indicators of how Arsenal will setup against LEI/SOU/bou? Are you really happy with even 6-6-6 from Raya/Saliba when any attacker easily hit 14+ in any one of these fixtures? Even if you don't like Havertz current positioning, what about a differential punt on Trossard/Martinelli?

I think I'm pretty set on double attack - was going to be Gabriel / Saka / Havertz but I'm going to try to do a bit of extra scouting this week (watch a replay of the Atalanta game) and think about it. Are you considering Trossard? I'm a little tempted by him now, have a a feeling he can be a bit of a flat-track bully. Or do you think there's a risk he's benched for Jesus in one of these games?

Trossard is suspended because of the red card... I genuinely think there's no one to pick other than Havertz for the 2nd attacker - and I think he's viable. Not looked particularly great the last few games but they were against Spurs, Atalanta and City as you say.

Just mid should be already packed, like you probably want, Saka, Mbeumo, one of 5.5/5, so Tross would be over e.g. Diaz? Hmmm maybe could work...

I do actually have that template-y midfield - Saka Diaz Mbeumo Semenyo ESR (and Haaland Havertz Solanke up top) currently. But if I dropped Havertz I don't think it'd be hard to find funds for ESR - Trossard.

I would not get Trossard atm he will come good eventually . Absence of Ode is a worry hence inlclined more towards double defense. Only Q for me is do I go Havertz or Saka

Thoughts on this WC? Concerns - No Salah / DCL or Wood? / Lewis worth having even with rotation? / ESR or Semenyo?

      1) It's basically Salah OR Saka, unfortunately we are just going to have to pick one...
      2) DCL and Wood will probably return similar points, probably slightly favour Wood as Forest are in better form than Everton
      3) Semenyo for the next two, then switch back to ESR

I'm tempted to keep Lewis on WC. I think he will get starts and the upside is very high. Gvardiol can't do the job on the left flank that Lewis can do on the right. But it's obviously a risk, still mulling it over.

Last decision guys on a wildcard, any help is appreciated

    3-5-2 with Watkins ( fodder 8th attacker)
    Or
    3-4-3 with decent 8th attacker

    Team 1

    Raya
    Gabriel TAA (Greaves)
    Saka Rogers Mbeumo Semenyo Dias
    Haaland

Option 1 Konate ( VDB) DCL Jackson

Option 2 Collins (Moreno) Watkins (Stewart)

WC draft, any glaring issues I should think about?

    Raya, (Fabianski)
TAA, Gabriel, Van den Berg, (Okoli, Bednarek)
    Saka, Diaz, Mbeumo, Semenyo, Rogers
    Haaland, Watkins, (DCL) | 0.2m

Plan would be to rotate DCL/Semenyo/Rogers. Or would it be better to drop one of them and upgrade the 4.0s? Cheers

The defense is a glaring issue. So yes would downgrade DCL to a 4.5 and upgrade the defense.

Thanks! In that case I might drop Semenyo to Dibling and go from there. Just feel there is value in keeping a forward in that slot. Could be Wood or upgrade to Solanke/Jackson etc in future.

RTT. I'm on Raya and Sanchez for WC but have time to change my mind. Trying to avoid hits later if I can.

Wood and NFO look in better form, and the fixtures are not too bad. Wood was also the penalty taker with MGW on the field, so I would go with him.

    Good morning guys,

2FT, might wait for the mid-week games to unfold. What do you think?

    Raya / Fabianski
    TAA / Lewis / Digne / Robinson / Bednarek
    Salah / Palmer / Eze / Rogers / Winks
    JP / Haaland / Welbech

    - Feeling a bit "anxious" for not having Gabriel/Saliba. I am considering Konaté as an alternative, since Liverpool has been doing great in defence.
    - Lewis and Digne were benched/subbed off this GW, which raises concerns about player rotation.
    - Happy with the midfield, but could consider bringing Mbeumo for Eze, if I downgrade elsewhere.
    - Brighton double attack seemed like a good option considering their form, but JP got injured. Not really sure what to do from here.

    Current options are:
    A. Not doing nothing to get 3FT next GW (risking with the rotation)
    B. Lewis / Digne -> Konaté and a 4.0 (like Greaves - to avoid rotation)
    C. Eze / Welbeck -> Mbeumo / Raul
    D. Palmer / Digne -> Saka / Konaté
    E. Palmer / Eze -> Saka / Mbeumo

    Thanks in advance!

I have Rico too and City's fixtures is tempting me to switch to Gvardiol

E is what i'd do but could easily backfire.

Salah to Saka, a defender to Gabriel then Eze to Mbuemo next week

    2FT
    Salah, Palmer, Eze, Rogers, ESR
    Haaland, Wissa*, Pedro

Wissa has to go, but dunno which way:
    a) Wissa-->Watkins/Jackson - in this case I need to downgrade Palmer to Diaz oraz Salah to Saka/Diaz
    b) Wissa --> Wood/DCL - in this case Salah stays

If Salah, you could use the 2.0 to upgrade elsewhere

Diaz form is unreal but I am worried with rotation, hence I am not considering him 100%.

If B, I would choose Wood over DCL.

I think you will be good with any option, if there is no foreseeable price rise I would wait until after the EFL Cup games.

For me it comes down to who will get more points during gws 6-10. Palmer vs Saka vs Salah.
        1) Palmer - next 2 gw at home
        2) Saka - next 3 games easy on paper
        3) Salah - Wolves (a) next so a good chance of scoring, Than CP and Chelsea (h).

Very hard to predict the next five GWs:

Palmer has BHA, NFO, liv, NEW, mun.
Saka has LEI, SOU, bou, LIV, new.
Salah/Diaz have wol, cry, CHE, ars, BHA.

I would choose Saka from GW6-8, and Palmer on 9-10. However, all of them can perform in every single ground, so it will be more on a personal choice.

Between Rogers & DCL, but Palace look such a mess and Villa might have one eye on Bayern (Sun - Wed turnaround) so Rogers for me
