    Thoughts on this wildcard?

If raya is fit, the blanks are raya and Jackson

If raya out or a doubt can get flekken and watkins

    Thanks

    Xxx 4m
    Taa gabriel lewis mykoleko greaves
    Saka diaz mbeumo semenyo Rogers
    Haaland xxx dcl

      Very similar to mine
I’ve gone ESR over Semenyo, and Wood over DCL.

Why would you want Watkins over Jackson?

      1. Flynny
        • 10 Years
        1 year, 5 months ago

The 2nd striker is a very tough call

Could be watkins Jackson or solanke

        Watkins for the Ipswich fixture
Jackson has 2 great fixtures but seems to come off early
Solanke also a good pick. Very tough

I could also upgrade lewis to saliba and stick with Jackson / solanke

Yep. I'm very similar. With Solanke, Wood, Aina for Jack, DCL, myko.

My current no-Raya iteration swaps in Sanchez and Havertz.

What're your thoughts on DCL v Wood?

      1. Flynny
        • 10 Years
        1 year, 5 months ago

Nothing to choose between dcl and wood to me. Dcl that bit cheaper tho

Havertz is interesting. I'm worried he may fave some rotation with psg and jesus fit...and can also play deeper

I'll wait for raya news tomorrow and take it from there...

Another option for me would be Jackson and Solanke, with a 4.5 mid. Would be a nice frontline and Jackson could be cashed in for Diaz > Foden when fixtures turn. Decisions

Decision indeed. Think I like the full playing from 8 for depth with Rogers as the 8th

Might go with saliba and solanke if no raya certainty....good luck

Madness to keep Saka over Watkins or Palmer; Saka is in trouble with confidence and unlikely to haul consistently enough to justify a place over those two.

Yeah, why would they keep him on that long except for the fact Saka wasn’t involved in scoring or assisting any of the goals so it was to maybe get himself a confidence-boosting goal.

It’s not a discussion about Saka being good or not but being picked ahead of Watkins or Palmer is just bizarre to me based on the actual form.

Palmer and Watkins have much better recent form than Saka. It seems to be a case of Saka bias in thinking he is better to have than Palmer or Watkins.

yup, think Saka is in trouble to losing his spot to Nwaneri.

but for real, with corners and pens he'll tick along and won't be far from a haul

the brighton at home game he looked great with Havertz, just 3 very tough away matches. no odegaard an issue but looks like he will be back sooner than expected.

      1. Onanawhatsmyname

Odegaard and Saka link up so well; you will see Odegaard feed him the most out of anyone and that is when Saka can thrive, with Odegaard setting him through behind the defence or passing to Saka when he has a 1-on-1 with a defender. Without Odegaard, Saka isn’t as potent

I have literally never seen a player like Salah go up and down in price in the same week. These price changes are wild this year why is there so much kneejerking have people forgot how to play properly? Salah is arguably a better asset than Saka this week it only makes sense to get rid of him as part of a superior combo move

    1. Qaiss
      • 10 Years
      1 year, 5 months ago

Content creators are affecting how the masses play

In a casual mini league chat I’m in, they’re also all wildcarding this week. Many of them didn’t need it but some sold Haaland just to get Salah captain in last week for 1 week and are now reversing that move

Some had 2 Arsenal players and still hit the button. Too much spoon feeding going on, you have to go against the grain in the right moments to win

      1. Tazah
        • 8 Years
        1 year, 5 months ago

Totally agree with this, I also feel they are playing the system by making these transfers and not pressing wildcard until just before the deadline so that they can manipulate the prices

If I wasn't on a WC, I'd keep Salah this week. No doubt.

You said it yourself though. If the combo is superior...

Lot of these types of posts tend to be from people unhappy their player's price is dropping.

I like the Lewis pick but he does seem like an inevitable transfer out

Only one of those steps in from defence to midfield which is how Pep generally tends to setup

    Good evening

In isolation is havertz way better buy than DCL this gw?
    I have two gunners.
    I can go semenyo+havertz or DCL + a Martinelli/savinho

Think Ode out doesn't make Havertz as attractive.
      Not sold on DCL

Crazy how far Salah funds can stretch.

Salah, Delap, Jebbison } Memubo, Jackson, Solanke (-4) ?

    Current front 8
    Saka, Palmer, Salah, ESR, Rogers
    Haaland Delap, Jebbison

Havertz all day long. For 3 fixtures. And assuming no CL injury.
