Dont like Kelleher as we dont know when Allison will return. How will you get Palmer in later?

      1. Punty McPuntface
        2 years, 25 days ago

If he actually becomes essential, it will have to be at the expense of Salah

    2. Tonyawesome69

Not seeing the point of the Kelleher pick assuming Alisson is back after the tough fixtures

if you're gonna have 3 cheapies mid/attack and rotate, would have 3 different teams

    4. We Go Again
      2 years, 25 days ago

You have a couple of rotation risk in Jota and Foden, and I think Palmer is better value than Salah, feel like you could spend that money elsewhere

  2. FC Hakkebøf

Got 3 itb and prolly have the same issue as so many others. What would you do with this team?

    Team:

    Raya
    Trent Lewis Faes
    Saka Luiz Mbeumo Rogers
    Haaland Watkins Jackson
    —
    4.0 Colwill Winks 4.0

    A) Jackson and Diaz to Solanke and BJ
    B) Jackson, Diaz and TAA to Solanke, Palmer and a 4.6 def (who?)
    C) Watkins, Jackson and Diaz to Solanke, max 7.0 striker (who) and Palmer
    D) Something else

It is doing my head RN and the Diaz drop is quite annoying as I bought him for 7.5.

      1. FC Hakkebøf
        2 years, 25 days ago

Did it. Regret not going for Foden or Son instead but screw it. Saves me a transfer long term. Now I got this team with 1 FT itb:

        Raya
        TAA Lewis Faes
        Palmer Saka Mbeumo Rogers
        Haaland Watkins Jimenez

        1st sub: Colwill

Plan is now to downgrade Watkins to Solanke and use the spare Cash to get in a Arsenal defender.

    1. RamboRN

        considering kulusevski
        1 FT

Bit too early to transfer with 2 week gap I think.

    3. Royal5

Bit risky because of the IB and potential injuries. But he could drop twice this GW.

      1. FC Hakkebøf

Only one of the drops will affect SV. So the second drop is irrelevant

  13. FC Hakkebøf

GTG? 1 FT to handle potential injuries during IB.

    Raya
    TAA Lewis Faes
    Palmer Saka Mbeumo Rogers
    Haaland (C) Watkins Jimenez
    —

Yes that looks a decent idea.

  14. Hazz

Back with the early IB team thoughts!

    Flekken
    Gabriel Porro Lewis
    Palmer Saka Mbuemo Rogers
    Haaland Havertz DCL
    Fabianski // Semenyo Mykolenko Greaves

    1 FT. 0 ITB.

Team is okay for next week.
    - Havertz > Solanke may be on the cards. Thought on that? (Yes Havertz has an IB 'injury'...)
    - Could see Lewis benched for Wolves, but Mykolenko (if fit) has an okay fixture in Ipswich. Playing DCL so rather him than Greaves.
    - Flekken/Porro is a bit meh. Raya + 4.4/4.5 may have been better, but I'd not have had Havertz and he's done well.
    - See lots thinking of selling DCL and that feels a bit silly given the fixtures in GW8/10/11/12. Fulham in 9 is tricky, but I might play Semenyo (AVL) then anyway.

What would your move be going into next GW? (Holding is an option too, but just wondering what you'd do if had to.)

      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      2 years, 25 days ago

I think id hold. I have Havertz and Jackson and I am tempted to switch one to Solanke but Havertz is looking very good at the moment and I think I'd rather use my FT this week strengthening my defence than switching Jackson.

    Greaves out for:
    A) Lewis

    Cheers.

    1. FC Hakkebøf

You have plenty defenders. Is it really worth using a FT getting rid of a 4.0 defender?

      1. FC Hakkebøf
        2 years, 25 days ago

If your team is perfectly fine otherwise then go for Lewis imo.

A or C. Justin's points feel like they have come and gone. 3 returns from a xGI of 0.19 and managed 1 CS from an xGC of 2.16. Wouldn't rush on RAN before GW10 though.

Went without Saka and sold Madueke so didn't bother with this gw after that but some okay returns

A decent score is a green arrow I would say

        2 years, 25 days ago

Well that's relative. Haven't looked at my rank since week 4. Was 220k then had a shocker week 5. Good week 6 and 54 points this week. No idea where 54 is this gw

    2x FT

    A. Diaz & TAA to Foden & Dalot (0.9 itb to play with def options)
    B. Diaz & Semenyo to B.Johnson & McNeil (0.7 itb)
    C. Keep Diaz one more gw (see what develops). Semenyo to B.Johnson or McNeil?

    1. FC Hakkebøf

I prolly prefer B. But it is a close call. If you go A then I would pick Maz instead as he is cheaper.

      1. FC Hakkebøf

The next 'series' of gameweeks in FPL Challenge are a really interesting.

    Gameweek 8 - 11: Test Lab
"Shape the future of Fantasy Premier League by joining in on our experiments. This series we are running four tests that focus on earning points through different players and playstyles. What new FPL assets become must-haves?"

    GW8: Ball Winners
Interceptions and tackles are worth 1 point. 3 recoveries are worth 1 point.

    GW9: Playmakers
Key passes and crosses worth 2 points

    GW10: Foul Play
Fouls won are worth 2 points. Fouls conceded are worth -1 point.

    GW:11 Accuracy
Shots on target are worth 3 points

Probably GW8 of most note given people ask about that all the time.

        1. Royal5

Very poor start myself. Palmer killed me last GW. Better this week with 66 and jumped a mill to 1.2 mill. Seems like many that did well last GW dropped this week. Patience is key I guess.

Absolutely. That’s a good score this week. Bit of a mental test this season when a lot of us here are used to doing well. Got to try and hold our nerve!

100%. The people leading my ML’s have never finished inside the top 500k and are flying atm. One good thing about this season is that there seems to be a bigger spread of points on different players. Last season everyone had the same players due to low (bad) pricing.
