Anyone considering selling TAA now that Alisson is out and the fixture run?

Potentially, yes, to upgrade an attacker

Already considering regardless of Alisson injury. I don't think Kelleher is a massive drop in quality compared to Alisson. Currently predict 2 CSs over the next 7 league games.

Liverpool schedule doesn't look great either

Yup only Mo for me after next 4 games. Keeper til end of season. I'm leaning more and more towards Haaland, Palmer, Mo, Saka and Mbuemo season keepers

Not sure I need to squeeze in Salah. Southampton (A) is a good fixture to target but it's after IB then have Madrid and City. Haaland or Palmer is fine to cover captaincy in that GW.

      Yep.

Frees up funds for Semenyo to BJ. And leaves enough itv for Watkins Diaz to Solanke Palmer for instance for gw10

Yep, not a burning platform, but his 7m price tag isn't being justified at the moment.

Lots of promise, but not converting many assists. Part of that is Jota missing some absolute sitters but 2m elsewhere can go a long way

Are his fixtures really that bad? He could easily get attacking points against Chelsea, a clean sheet against Arsenal, and haul against Southampton.

So, Onana it is. Especially with those fixtures.

Allows a little extra for Mo, my only missing player I need back. And Raul, Haaland, Wellbeck up front.

    Hey all.

This was my WC team GW72FT 1.4m ITB Didnt ask only one question and is was Saka team.

But I was 0.1m short of Saka with Haaland, Mbeumo, and Palmer all rising all week but didn't rise until Saturday, wish I went to another 4.4m to fit him in as it isn't the most balanced.

    Raya
    Ait Nouri, Davis, VDV, Lewis
    Palmer, Martinelli, Rogers, Mbeumo, Johnson
    Haaland Solanke, Havertz.
    (played Davis over RAN. lol)
Injures dependent, think I may roll GW8 and in GW9 and get Cunha for Havertz/Solanke, and if Foden looks good at Wolves , then try and roll (I know it never works out like this until GW12,) with 4 FT's

So two premiums (Saka/Palmer) double arsenal defence, Haaland (if Man City midfield looks good), and fill in the blanks, Semenyo, Brighton Cheleas upfront.

Just didn't see the upside in defenders until GW12, although Arsenal tend to keep CS against better teams? Possibly?? Could go earlier there?

Double ARsneal defence or Havertz/Saka, what the best tactic there.

Just a ramble really. Just interested if anyone had these thoughts for there own team too?

So I WCed the week before you, have a similar overall structure (although I'll need to make a small downgrade to reach Palmer), and also went the double Arsenal attack route.

I think Gabriel is a set-and-forget, permastarter for me. Will probably lose one of or maybe both Saka & Havertz in GW9. Was considering Saka - Foden, Havertz - Cunha, although I feel like if I go for Foden it should be this week as the Wolves fixture is almost as juicy as Southampton right now.

Generally speaking I can see the merits of just holding 3 of Raya/Gabriel/Saka/Havertz long time, but in my case I WCed with 3 FTs so I'm up for some heavy fixture shuffling.

Sitting on this at the moment with 3 FTs:

      Pickford Virginia
Gabriel Konate Milenkovic Davis Van den Berg
      Saka Maddison Mbeumo Smith-Rowe Semenyo
      Haaland Havertz Solanke

        Thanks mate.

Yes i wish i downgraded to Greaves instead of Davis and got Saka in now, or VDV to someone else (got fooled by Spurs defensive data. as I would just keep but I love Cunha for GW9.and would have played against Brentford as they are so good attacking and so poor defensively.

I like the Foden move, I would have to wait until GW9 i think and it maybe too late? Nice hold for Palmer for you and Saka for me.

Yes, I have had Raya since day one, not Gabriel. Same reasons. Love the Konate pick BTW

Oddly enough, I think when Arsenal focus on the tougher games, their double defence is better, and perhaps (for Arteta anyway, even though their XGC is still low), they keep CS against top teams in Europe and probably the Premier League. There are not three great premium picks from now until GW12 expert Man City, hence why I got Palmer in any way last week

I may have to wait until Foden plays Southampton, just because I want to get to three free transfers too after WC, and although Cunha can score (quite easily against Man City), without Rodri, their defence is an afford, just went for Lewis playing in midfield for the easy games).

If Foden runs well for GW10/11, though those away games are not easy either), Brighton may high scoring, not so sure about Bournemouth, same for Arsenal.

How do you think you are getting there this game week with Arsenal playing away to Arsenal, with 4 FT's you could hope on and off Foden for Palmer.?

My move in GW9 would perhaps be Havertz to Cunha and Martinelli to Foden, and get Saka GW12 with hopefully a mini WC, as I am sure those who haven't WC'd will be doing so then or GW14 at the very latest.

I hope you read this, if not and I see you back on, I will respond.

Its nice on a slow ITB, to have a discussion instead of RMT lol

Maybe. Depends on who else you have.

      Thats the question.

Solanke didnt impress me last game, playing very deep (bit like Firmino in the Pool days), allowing the ones around him to attack. However, could be just to play Brighton and bring a defender out of position. So might be very different agains teams with a lower block, like his first game vs Leicester.

BJ impressed me, great runs, great chances. Stats back him up as well. But not a proven goalscorer so might be overperforming for his norms.

Im going BJ for now as I have Watkins in the Solanke slot, but might still go for Solanke later

Issue with Johnson, imo, is that he needs space to run at... he got it vs a stupidly open MU and Brighton, not sure that will happen in other matches.

But I don't doubt he will be a good pick, maybe just not as good as he has been against blind and stubborn managers (ETH and Hurzeler)

I can't recall it being like this as much in previous seasons but feels like a lot of folk are very twitchy with the premiums around fixtures this year more than normal, I always remember being told time after time premiums are fixture proof. Seems to be more fomo than usual, probably because so many of them (premiums) maybe? I can see the logic regards fixtures but the Saka/Salah hokey kokey didn't work out very well in recent weeks. You just might be better with the inevitable variance of not always hauling when you expect it sticking to your guns and going without certain ones unless the ones you have lose form or get injured?

I'm gunning for GW12. Chelsea, Brighton, Arsenal go on a good run of fixtures.
Its late enough to get to see enough games and close enough to 2nd WC being available in case a truly horrible injury run occures.

I'm thinking 12 too myself for that exact reason.

Don't find GW8 a good time to WC due to Arsenal & Chelsea going into a run of tough fixtures + don't find getting more Everton, Ipswich & Leicester play appealing.

Which premiums to downgrade to get Haaland in for his next two great fixtures?

    1) Watkins, Salah/Palmer and Taa ---> Haaland, Johnson and Ait-Nouri

    2) Ui-Jo, Salah and Palmer ---> Haaland, Johnson and McNeil

    3) Go without Haaland

Be brave and go without Haaland would be my advice. He’s likely to score a fair few but with a bit of luck your other players will make up for it. You have shown you can go without him already which most on here wouldn’t have agreed with from day one and therefore you can remain without him. It could obviously all go wrong. Good luck in whatever you decide.

Going without Haaland full stop is brave. However that’s looking at him in isolation. It does look like the time to get him if you don’t already. I’m hoping sticking with salah rewards me. A lot of people going without him now, I think he can keep pace with Haaland in the next 3/4 fixtures.

The fitness of kdb I believe is very important to Haaland. I’ll probably be shot down with some stats but Haaland needs assists and kdb is the one he needs most in my opinion.

For those who haven’t used it, would you say Haaland in GW9 (Southampton at home) is looking the best option for TC this season?

    James from Planet FPL mannerisms:
    - Rubbing his forehead with a finger above his left eye brow
    - Fitting every sentence into single breaths and then taking a big gasp of air with a wet noise
