    So we've gone from the scout squad to the scout picks in just 6 hours. How are we meant to digest this when most of us were sleeping 6 hours ago. Scout could do with reviewing their content plan/schedule when it is a Friday deadline.

    I'm thinking of selling Luis Diaz and TAA for Son and Ait-Nuri. I have two transfers available. (It would leave me with no Liverpool players).

    The alternative is to roll the transfers.

      I own Foden but I’m not convinced he’s as likely to start every week as I expected when I bought him. I think he’s good for this week but is someone you might need to sell in 2/3 weeks.

      It might also be too soon for Wissa.

      I think they're reasonably good changes. More risk on Foden long term, just because Pep is Pep. But should be good for this week with Grealish, Doku injured and KdB still out.

      I believe Wissa starts after 24 minutes on his return last week. May get pulled after 60-70 mins but a solid pick for the next 5 gameweeks at least.

    If Konsa plays I can likely field a full team (assume Pep doesn't rotate Gvardiol).

    Is Saka or Saliba my biggest issue? Should I be sorting both? Leaning towards either Saka to Foden or get rid of both for Robinson/Milkenovic and Palmer, which is better? Any advice appreciated!

      All four went with Watkins, though, and the budget wouldn't allow for him - sometimes it's about representation from an attack rather than the given names per se, so long as isn't just 'coverage' for coverage's sake.

    How much better is Son than B Johnson?

    A) Saka to Son for free
    or
    B) Saka, Fraser to B Johnson, N Jackson for a hit.

    Yes A is for free but B makes my bench a bit stronger by getting rid of a bench fodder player

    Hugely vindicated on this decision - going Sels over Flekken on WC6. Another case of group think without scrutiny backfiring. Flekken was just the default 'I don't want to go Raya because of the injury risk' choice and people didn't stop to consider the options on offer.

    Sels had started the first 5 games of the season, Forest's defensive data was far superior to Brentford's. It didn't make sense why no one went Sels and yet wanted Forest defenders like Aina, Milenkovic etc.

      The only thing that does make some sense around this is Sels was massively failing the eye test and in admittedly a small sample last season that was showing up in his expected data. He's still got some errors in him, there was a notable one in the Liverpool game where he went for a juggle near his goal line under little pressure but I suppose they all do silly stuff these days and he does look like he's improved this season or maybe he was always that decent he just didn't show it in last seasons sample, either way its better now. Flekken was just a fixtures pick wasn't he? Nobody rates him as a keeper.

    Can't believe I went for Maddison (nailed, great stats, on form) and he immediately, that very gameweek, becomes a bench risk. 73 minutes last night too.

    In my planning I needed him to start GWs 9-11 before he gets turned into Saka, but now I'm wondering whether he's just become a £7.6m bench player.

    Three questions:

    A) What is his % likelihood of starting on Sunday?

    B) is it worth swallowing a ft to just swap him now for Johnson, even though it will probably cost me a -4 down the line to keep with my plans?

    C) Maddison / TAA to Foden / Porro for a -4 to rid myself of the issue permanently?
