Cuhna is on the up under a new manager and he had a tough start to the season and still scored well. It's not as clear cut as the article suggests to sell him.

Tough one, I can easily play Hall over him now but in a longer run, won't the likes of Wood, Gakpo, Havertz outscore him?

Yeh think I’m going to bench him. Squad is strong enough to stash away.
He’ll be back fresh as a daisy.

It's Cunha and you can always bench him. Be grateful the article gave you a conclusion. 🙂

But was the conclusion reached too hastily in the rush to get the article out?

Reach your own conclusion and prove the article wrong by keeping him.

The article says many managers will be happy to sell him, which is a fact. I don't think I've reached any conclusions.

It’ll be team dependent for a lot I expect. I’m in a position where I’d rather use my FT on Bruno > Gordon or an Arsenal MF.
Or even Jackson > Watkins, a move I couldn’t make if I shipped Cunha this week.
              Lots to think about.

Yeah absolutely. I've just been recording a video with Joe and he doesn't own Isak, so that's a relatively straightforward move. For others like yourself it might make more sense to bench then reassess.

That's me but I brought Gordon in instead of Isak around the same time so it has hedged against Isak's hauls somewhat. But with more games to go, I'm really needing to reconsider thus. Have Wissa, Wood and Cunha in my front 3, think Wissa is the likely one to go

So, Fabian Shaer gets a 3 match ban in GW1 for pseudoheadbutting Brereton Diaz in response to him doing the same and there are a million other examples like this. Meanwhile, a dude gets a 2 match ban for elbowing a member of the opposing team's staff in the back of the head and ripping his glasses off. Okey-dokey the FA, we're moving on.

Why would you write a baseless accusation as this?

In the context of the video, the guy he elbowed in the back of the head wasn't even looking/talking at Cunha.

I agree, no idea why he's only gotten a 2 match suspension when vient conduct is usually three, under the following definiton - of what he did fits:

"Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball, or against a team-mate, team official, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made."

          Additional guidance - Violent conduct:

A player who is not challenging for the ball will be sent off if they:

-use or attempt to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent, teammate, team official, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made

-deliberately strike an opponent or any other person on the head or face with their hand or arm, unless the force used was negligible

-make a clear forward movement with their head resulting in contact with the head or face of an opponent or any other person, unless the force used was negligible

-clearly make forceful contact by holding or grabbing the throat/neck area, or gouges the eye of an opponent or any other person

-make a clear action to pull the hair of an opponent or any other person with force

1st, 2nd and potentially 4th point meet what he did. Lol.

It should have been a minimum of a 3-match ban for violent conduct regardless of whatever defence was submitted by the player and/or his club. If he stuck an opponent on the back of his head that would be the punishment even if provoked. That ban should also have started by the week following the offence. There is no valid excuse for either the shorter than normal ban or the delay.

It wasn't though was it, just a plain old cross which was met by Isak

Should have arguably been a big chance created too, doesn't matter in terms of his pts but just curious why it doesn't show up in the data

Opta didn't credit the assist, so I'd guess it is seen as an incomplete pass/cross.

I am keeping Cunha in. He is one of the most in form strikers in the league and I got him at his base price so I have a lot of value invested in him and I am not sure who at that price point will substitute him in my front three. I am also keeping Bruno for now, against the perceived wisdom. My two FTs for this week will be Amad to Elanga I think and then I am considering Jackson to:
    1) Watkins - I wonder how he will play with Rogers out though and also he has been very pee as patchy all season
    2) Havertz - Arsenal forwards will probably step up now Saka is out and to ensure they keep a place in the side and Arsenal’s fixtures are good
    3) Gakpo - in form, differential but minutes are an issue
    4) Keep Jackson and save the FT and hope he comes good

Will the 2nd half curse strike again for Salah?

I've owned Cunha since GW10 and he's a fantastic player & FPL asset.

My decision to sell was based on (hopefully) capitalising from other strikers over the next 3-5 GW's. I'm also hoping he drops £0.1-£0.2m to help me buy back at the price I sold him for.

Cunha will be 100% coming back into my squad GW 24 or 26 as 'set & forget' for the season (injuries permitting).

Wissa or Wood will make way, and Cunha will compliment Isak.

Is Salah, Diaz and Gakpo too much? Pool seem to be playing on another level. All can score in 30 minutes.

I wanted to sell one of Cunha, Jackson or Wood for Isak this week. Guess which one I sold!
    So now, Cunha to
    A) Wood
    B) Solanke
    C) Havertz

May as well let Arsenal play now or you could be selling Havertz.

Yes, I'll wait until the games have been played.
Wood is probably my top choice.
